Husband keeping secrets from wife

I have a question 

Q) Can husband can share his friend’s personal talk with his wife although friend has told not to tell anyone but husband is sure that his wife will never share it with anyone and his wife wants to know about it so in that case what a husband can do to satisfy his wife??

He should not share confidential information without permission. He should tell his wife that he told his friend that he would tell nobody.
