Just got fired from my first internship

Got my first work by joining an internship, nice company but quite strict. Today got fired, probably due to me occasionaly falling asleep, and checking other material while working

I feel like this could be some sort of punishment from God, I have been going good in refusing to relapse to my sin, goes to work listebing to lectures.

Then when I arrive at work, opened my laptop and I relapse (you know what, I dont rly need to expose it here since how common this sins is)

Anyway, I have consoled myself so far by telling me that everything God do is the best, even His punishment, I should prob be happy I was being punished.

But I still feels like something missing? Idk if this is because I have been feelin down lately or its because this. 

Dunno why I even rant here, but when i prayed I keep having daydream of me ranting here. Lol.

You getting fired for falling asleep at work and doing other stuff while at work makes sense whether you are muslim or not.

Punishment from God? You feel asleep at work and do other non related work while at work. What did you expect? What has God to do with this? You think God sent a message to your boss and told him/her to fire you? You acted bad at work and got fired.

I guess so, but most of the time I see other people doing it and they are fine, plus I have been having this problem for a while, no warning or anything. Today was super unlucky.

Yeah though ill admit it was kinda my fault at the first place wether others are doing it or not :/ i was to emotional while writing the post

You just need to be upfront about this. I need to sleep during the day and asked my employer for a sofa.

Do you know that there are cameras in your work place? The boss can see when you are sleeping or if you are playing with your phone.

Is your laptop provided by your employer? If it is, then your employer can see the history of all the sites you visit, so don't do that. 

Getting paid to work and then you don't do the work will definitely get you fired. When you get a job, you promise to do the work, so stop playing around.

You were fine too, until you weren't.

Plus, your work ethic is not dependent on the work ethic of other people. You need to do work that you can be proud of, and slacking off is not work that you can be proud of. This isn't a punishment, it's a wake up call, no pun intended. When you are working, you should do nothing but work. You can sleep and read websites or whatever on your own time.

You can’t really blame God for clear choices that you or other people make, ie you chose to sleep or be distracted at work, and they chose to punish you for that. We all have free choice in these specific matters.

Best thing is acknowledge that it happened and learn from your experience.

In two cases where I fell asleep it was an accident :/

Honestly I guess I didnt see any "work" to be proud of. I was just told "go study" thats it.

All my friends has got some work, meanwhile I am the only one who got no work or anything, they keep saying I am studying fast but when I ask if I can finally get some work the answer is always... idk not ready? I cant rly remember what they said. So the last few days I just isolate myself in the corner of the room and "study"

Also I dont really have "my own time" lol, i guess you could say I could watch unrelated work video when I am coming back home, which is true, thats on me, but on sleep, most of the time I came home night. Got no "me time" per se

Even if there is no camera where you work, Allah can see what you do.

Yeah I guess so, after a month or so I wasnt becoming to serious. Should have continue taken it more seriously even if its just studying

Learn from your mistake and get a new job. Next time if you want to sleep, you can sleep in the toilet for few minutes and then leave.

Take ownership of your mistakes my young brother.

You slept on the job; you 'relapsed'.

you frame of thinking needs to be tweaked. You said something like, "I got an internshio but got fired as punishment by Allah".

Instead your thinking should be "Allah got me an internship and I didnt take sufficient care of it"

This change in attitude will make you more thankful of Allah and more responsible for your actions.

I get the impression that you're quite young so don't have a lot of life experience. I'll say this: work is not the place to sleep and play around. While I despise capitalism and some of the more oppressive and predatory practices of companies your boss was not in the wrong here. You were clearly not working at your job.
