Are there lesser basics jobs in USA than there was before ? I have no luck

I live in Dallas Fort Worth area . I have been apply for valet parking , unarmed security guard , KFC, carpet cleaning , service porter and I'm getting no luck . Is it because of bad economy or politics ? Are there lesser basic jobs available than compared to before because of suffering economy ?

The job market is definitely rough right now across many industries, despite there being a supposed labor shortage. I’ve heard and read about many people finding it difficult to find a job in both skilled and unskilled labor, minimum wage jobs, IT, healthcare, etc for a number of reasons most of which i am probably uninformed or undereducated about. But as a general piece of advice I would recommend investing some time into learning some trade or skill to help increase your wages, as much of the minimum wage jobs you mentioned are becoming increasingly automated.
