i looked up mubtadi and from my understanding it’s those who do bid’ah so im confused on what these person is trying to imply

Wa alaikum as salam

The response would be that you commit neither shirk nor bid'ah

If they want to get into a hadith flinging match then you have quality material here

May Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) have mercy on the soul of our departed brother Toyib Olawuyi

:salam:

What a filthy person.

Stay away from him. It is their lexicon that their filthy shuyukh use in their Q&A session on the theme 'Are Shia Muslims ?' and when they explained that we are in two groups the laymen who are just astray and the worst ones who openly curse Aisha and Mu`awiya - like it is even the same thing.

Again, these folks do not even deserve to be lent an ear. Their minds are as awful as their beards.

Wa Aleikum Salaam

Qur'an talks about these type of people of takfir, they will not get good ending. I encourage you to serve and obey Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) and seek His wajh, because that is what religion is all about. Only listen your voice of Heart that calls you to remember Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) and do good deeds. May Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) bless you and guide you always in his loving path.

Your response can be to ask them if they are anti-Shi'a, and if they say yes you can ask if they are the mujassimi mushrik nasibi version (anthropomorphist) or the mulhid mushrik nasibi version (wujudi-mawjudi pantheist).

Wassalam.
