Unfortunately I don't see much difference happening in the world. I pray to God to intervene and ensure USA, West and Israel lose the wars.

I hope Imam Mahdi (عجّل الله تعالى فرجه الشريف) reappears to save Muslims and destroy all the oppressors and the hypocrites.

Personally I hope to become more resilience.

I hope to see my family united and get together. I may try getting married so hopefully that works out. I hope to lose weight Y_Y . I hope Liverpool wins the Premier League. I hope to see cost of livings go down.

Salam everyone,

After nearly six years of advocating for the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade, it finally happened. I worked a long time for this to happen in my lifetime. Finally, the country will be set in the right direction. No more liberal hogwash and atheistic views. I’ve always said that Christian values align with Islam more than liberal degeneracy.

salam alaykum brother

Well, I went to the Husseiniya with my parents and my mum was taking a really long time to come out (as women usually do. They stick around and talk)  so my dad sent me to go get her. I reminded my dad I was no longer 6 years old and couldn't just walk into the sisters section like I used to as a child to sit with my mum. As I got near the entrance, an elder from the community stopped me and asked me where I was going. I responded 'I'm going to get my mum'.

She said 'You're not allowed in here brother!'  I immediately responded with 'But I'm a sister' and she said 'No you're not, you're clearly a man'

disgusting

Ackman: Jews don’t plagiarize; only schwarzes do
January 8, 2024

Jewish billionaire William Ackman was angry that Harvard students opposed genocide in Gaza.  He was angry that Harvard president Claudine Gay didn’t suppress the students’ First Amendment right to speech and assembly.  He then demanded that Gay be ousted because she supposedly committed plagiarism.  Gay was ousted.  When a Jewish billionaire says that the Black president of Harvard must go, she goes.  But then it was discovered that Ackman’s wife, an Israeli-born former lieutenant in the Israeli air force, committed plagiarism.  Ackman is now hopping mad.  Only schwarzes are supposed to be punished for plagiarism.  Ackman is now threatening to expose plagiarism among faculty at MIT (where his plagiarizing wife taught). I for one am relieved that Ackman didn’t order his wife to drop 2,000-pound bombs on MIT.

PA-Gov: Schwartz Accuses Wolf of Plagiarizing “Fresh Start” Plan

Quote

Rep. Allyson Schwartz’s campaign accused former Revenue Secretary Tom Wolf of “troubling plagiarism” in his policy platform, “Fresh Start for Pennsylvania.”

According to her campaign, portions of the Fresh Start plan are pulled directly from Johnson Controls, Inc. an energy equipment distributor that has tens of millions of dollars in state government contracts.

Quote

“I have directed the staff to make sure nothing like this ever happens again and have asked for a new process to be put in place to ensure it does not,” Wolf stated.

The campaign terminated the individual responsible.

It’s been a tough few weeks for Wolf. State Treasurer Rob McCord released an ad saying that his extraction tax proposal wasn’t high enough, Schwartz demanded the terms of his loan be released and the Corbett campaign hit him for not releasing more than three years of tax returns.

Also running for Governor, but so far remaining out of the fray is former DEP Secretary Katie McGinty.

Media now in Bill Ackman’s sights after wife embroiled in plagiarism row

Billionaire vows to tackle ‘problems with how our media operates’ after Neri Oxman accused of plagiarism in PhD thesis

Quote

On Monday, Ackman, who has gained more than 1.1 million followers on X, announced that he would tackle “problems with how our media operates”. It’s an issue Ackman seems to have decided to take up after Business Insider reported that his wife copied paragraphs from Wikipedia in her PhD dissertation.

Quote

The outlet said Oxman, a former professor at MIT, “lifted text from more than a dozen Wikipedia articles without attribution” in her PhD dissertation and had failed to cite other sources.

Quote

She also apologized for other instances where she had “omitted quotation marks for certain work that I used”.

Ackman said he and Oxman would conduct “an analysis” of the second report, which included the Wikipedia allegations, but generally responded with furyOn Friday, he suggested he would investigate Business Insider’s “reporters and staff”.

Quote

Later, on Monday, in a reply to an X post that criticized “child-abusing radical leftist losers”, Ackman wrote: “I will pursue these societally important issues including problems with how our media operates, the ideological takeover of our education system, discrimination in all forms, and free speech to the end of the earth. It is the most important battle I have ever taken on.”

Quote

Semafor reported that some at Axel Springer “debated whether Ackman’s wife was fair game for reporting, and have been concerned that the report could be construed as antisemitic and anti-Zionist”.

Quote

The media are already dealing with one upset billionaire in Donald Trump, who has said journalists are the “enemy of the people” and whose ally, Kash Patel, said a second Trump administration would “come after the people in the media”.

Quote

Gay, who was Harvard’s first Black president, said many of the attacks against her were “fueled by racial animus” in her resignation statement on 2 January. The issue of race has become intertwined with the movement against her, with Janai Nelson, the president and direct-counsel of the NAACP Legal Defense Fundwriting on X: “Attacks against Claudine Gay have been unrelenting and the biases unmasked.”

Exclusive: Investor Ackman backs bid by dissidents for Harvard board seats

Quote

William Ackman, who has donated about $50 million to Harvard, told Reuters in an interview he is endorsing Zoe Bedell, Logan Leslie, Julia Pollack, and Alec Williams - who variously earned undergraduate, law and business degrees from Harvard - in their campaign to join the board.

William Ackman has accused Harvard, located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, of mismanaging and wasting some of his gifts. His hedge fund Pershing Square Capital Management oversees $18 billion in assets, and returned about 27% last year.

Quote

The board candidates he is backing, Ackman said, are "talented, accomplished and motivated people, and their candidacy will serve as a wakeup call for Harvard." They range in age from 36 to 38, and all have served in the U.S. military.

Quote

In 1989, dissident alumni backed a petition to elect Archbishop Desmond Tutu to the board in a push to get Harvard to divest its investment holdings in companies that did business in South Africa during the time of racial apartheid.

I had an epiphany the other day.

For years, I've been frustrated that I'm the only one in my household who can observe things that need to be done. For example, none of the other people in my family can see when the trash can is full or when the floor needs to be swept. For years, I was the only one observing things like this, and so I just did the tasks that needed to be done, and i was frustrated because the other adults and teens in my household were playing or watching TV or resting or whatever, and I spent my entire waking hours working.

Just the other day I realized that the problem was not that these other folks couldn't see the work that needed to be done.  The problem was that I had failed to embrace the role of manager.  A good manager doesn't do all the work.  A good manager assigns the tasks to the right person. So I've been doing that for five dais now and I've managed to read a book, play with a construction toy with my 8- year- old,  and just rest a little. My life has certainly been better,  and I imagine the lives of the other adults and teens in my family is better now too, since they are being useful and productive members of the family now, rather than just being treated as babies or guests.

So my advice to all the young folk is this: do not do everything, even if you can, even if you do it better than everyone else around.  Delegate. Share the work.  It will make everyone's lives better.

Also I told my boss that if a classroom teacher positron opens up for next school year, I'd like to be considered for it.  Wish me success.

Good luck! What are you currently working as?

I've taught for a few years but never got the chance to be a class teacher, only a subject teacher. I got the chance to be one, in my last year of teaching, until a colleague sabotaged my chance and stole it from me, lol!

This year I'm working as an instructional assistant in elementary school.  Last year I taught middle school math.  That was my first year teaching and it didn't go great, but all the problems I had were due to inexperience. The year before that, I was a middle school special education instructional assistant.

One teacher had to leave early today, so I was left in charge of her class.  I think they behaved better for me than they usually do for their classroom teacher.

That sounds like a fun experience. I also taught middle school mathematics. The first year really is tough and challenging, but it’s also enjoyable.

That sounds great! If that’s down, the teaching and interacting is always really fun and exciting.

Recently I learnt that Sayyid Sistani (ha) is from the lineage of Mir Damad (rh) on the paternal side.

Many legends in the same lineage.

Oh I see. Are you able to write Syed Sistani (HaHa) to put emphasis on the respect as in the حفظہٗ?

Kind regards. BTW what does حفظہٗ mean?

Should be talaT but point taken.

Reminds me of how I once met a woman named Akhtar and I wondered why she didn’t marry a man named Akhtar. It was the perfect opportunity to be named Akhtar Akhtar after marriage, and perhaps have their kids named Akhtar too.
