Did they say where?  I've only seen a few from Gaza in the past day.  However, quite a few wounded from what I can tell.

:salam:

Those 4 are confirmed by IDF, they were eliminated in south Lebanon. May them rest in fire.

I was reading yesterday that there had been 12 (at Jazeera accorfing to hebrew sources), the families may not have given permission for publishing, Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) knows best.

I would be curious to know how they're getting hit.  Is it ambushes? Booby traps?  Mine fields?  Getting hit by drones or mortars?  Or perhaps ATGMs hitting vehicles?  Also, curious as to how far into Lebanon they are still encountering resistance.

Sounds like all of the above.

The Hezbollah understand the tactics of the Israeli army, they knwo how to trap tanks in narrow side streets, they knpw how to set up ambushes and more importantly they know how much a pitiful fighting force they are on the ground.

These soy boys and hideous banshee femens are not warriors they are crude and cruel psychopaths... Three Hezbollah warriors took out 20 IOF elite forces. One radwani was able to hold off a small platoon of soldiers for hours, they finally had to call in air strike ...because they were too afraid to get close....

Israel is only good at fighting unarmed women and children, one armed man is equal to 10 of their forces.

But that's exactly it.  IDF has shown that they don't care about how much destruction they cause, or how many civilians they kill.  They have destroyed entire villages, and I'm sure all the Hezbollah fighters in that village.  Hard to set up an ambush when everything gets bombed anytime ground forces get close.  Or maybe they aren't bombing everything like it looks like on the media.

This month of invasion has been embarrasing for the idf. They're struggling to make grounds, they made it farther in 2006 during the same amount of days I beleive.

They killed sayed hassan nassrallah, they got too arrogant, they invaded, realized they were idiots for making the same mistake as 2006. Now they're retreating in 1-3 weeks. Did they achieve their goal of returning the settlers north? No, hezb is about to do something even more extreeme, they just gave an evacuation order for the entire northern Israel.

Did they prevent "an invasion of the galilee"? Nope, hezb did launch incursions even last week into Israel. Destroying border towns won't stop a mass incursion as if hezb a guerrila militia was going to do one anyways. Destroying tunnels from 1980s won't do that either.

You can't expect people raised on Talmudic ethics or utter lack therof and then raised as psychopaths towards goys....to care about what they consider to be servile beasts.

I doubt that active duty Hezbollah are in the villages but like their counterparts in Hamas are in hardened tunnels and mountainous retreats, away from drones and satellite surveillance.

excursions drone and missile strikes farther than ever,  deep into Israeli territory.

I only wish that they, ala Oct 7th,  actually invade Israeli territory and attack them where they totally would never expect it . Those guerrilla movement who attack onto the occupiers territory are most successful as history, )north vietnamese, cubams, angolans etc),  has shown.

I having experienced training with Israeli soldiers before,  except for the Sayaret Maktal, the Shaytet 13, the Duvedan, Maglan,  Egoz or  Golani brigades the rest of the armed forces are poorly trained unhappy reservist who in real life are pencil pushers and gamers.

What's most incredible is that it's Israel's most elite and special forces who are being slaughtered in Lebanon.

They will not be able to maintain this casualty and death rate for very long....I predict they will find a way to stop their Lebanon campaign in 2 months tops....they will then thru political posturing try to neuter Hezbollah thru Lebanese politics and International pressure on Lebanon.

Already Netanyahu is beings heckled and cursed by his own people during open public speeches....this will only get worse...even his ministers are getting stoned and having things thrown at them by angry families and crazy settlers.

The 80 yr curse of the Bani Israel always ends with vicious infighting and collapse of their empires and same with their criminal gangs and nefarious political groups like the bolsheviks and the NKVD.

Yair Lapid admits that the Israeli army is hiding the real number of casualties among the IOF.

Yair Lapid is frustrated over the number of casualties & says:

“The army isn’t releasing anything; there’s a limit to accepting fabricated truths instead of reality. If you have doubts, visit the hospitals!”

The occupation army demands that the residents of the Lebanese city of Baalbek evacuate.

100,000 Lebanese citizens are required to evacuate their homes.

Translation: Israel failed in occupying a single village in southern lebanon in 1 month, they suffered a huge amount of losses in this week alone, they failed in taking khiam 2 days ago, they got embarrassed even more than 2006 and now they're taking out their frustration and failures on the civilians.

Good analysis of what really happened in Israel Attack on Iran and huge Israel losses in South Lebanon that Israelis called it as catastrophical.

Taking into consideration what it called the 7 Cs of Resilience model it is reasonable that many IDF have PTSD. They lack a few of the Cs in the resilience model. For example, Character and Contribution and (Self) Control.

4/7 is a failing score of F+

Netanyahu fired Gallant, the defense minister for the regime today. Not what I expected on US Election Day. Apparently Gallant was questioning ongoing confrontations with Hamas without clear objectives. https://www.npr.org/2024/11/05/nx-s1-5179904/israel-defense-minister-gallant-fired-netanyahu

He put Katz who is even worse and who apparently has 0 millitary experience. So natenyahu is defacto the defense minister too.

katz is the same guy who said he wanted to send lebanon to the stone age, or make iran look like gaza.

Gallant clearly didn’t value the lives of Palestinians or Lebanese so any restraint he had was probably originating from a desire to preserve Israeli lives, particularly the soldiers. Katz has no military experience so all “failures” can be chalked up to this. And you are right Netanyahu is the defacto defense minister … facing an implosion soon possibly.

Yeah, came here to see everyone's thoughts about Galant.  From Galant's interview it sounded like he was in favor of keeping the war going as long as needed (said the IDF is ready and able to bear the burden), but he also wanted to pass a law forcing all to serve (including the religious exempted youth), and lastly he sounded like he wanted to get the hostages back - though I don't know if that means he wanted to so militarily, or he wanted a negotiated hostage exchange.

I saw one of the Indian News channels on YouTube (that typically have horrible click bait headlines) saying that Israel has pulled a few brigades back in Lebanon and is looking for a truce with Hizbollah.  Not sure if true.  Supposedly Trump told Bibi that he wanted the war ended within a week of him getting into office.
