^^^In response to the last 2 minutes of George's podcast...the exact quote of Khomeini (rh) is: "We Muslims are busy bickering over whether to fold or unfold our arms during prayer, while the enemy is devising ways of cutting them (i.e. our arms) off."

@Haji 2003, Iran's attack against the Zionist apartheid entity has achieved three major successes: 1.) It demonstrated that it possesses robust deterrence capabilities 2.) It created a state of fear and psychological duress and social insecurity within Israel 3.) It may have (possibly) caused a rift in the supposed ironclad relationship that exists between spoiled-rotten kosher baby and big daddy-America...perhaps Washington won't bail them out this time...Other tactical objectives have been achieved as well: 4.) Exposing and eroding defense capacities of Tel Aviv 5.) Exposing Iron Dome defensive weaknesses 6.) Mapping out and evaluating defense capabilities while avoiding full-scale escalation 7.) Everything done on a limited college dorm budget...90% measured shadow boxing coupled with 10% absolute devastation to two of their military bases...Purposefully calibrated and choreographed...everyone in the Global South with an army is jotting down notes..."Israel is a paper bobcat and America is a paper tiger"...the only thing they can do is nuke civilians like sissies

Yes, of course

The food was flowing into Gaza without problem while Iran never retaliated.

One of the side-effects of the Iranian assault has been to reduce some of the pressure on Israel to do more to improve humanitarian aid flows into Gaza.

US to Israel: If you strike back at Iran, you'll do it alone

U.S. military help to Israel will be defensive only, officials say.

As Israel on Monday weighed its response to Iran's stunning attacks this weekend, the U.S. is privately telling officials there: If Israel strikes back militarily, it will do so alone.

It's an unusual message for a close ally that's spent decades receiving more US military aid than any other country in the world and whose relationship with America is often described as "ironclad."

But after months of Israel acting on its own in Gaza -- and facing tough criticism from the U.S. and other allies that its military operations have gone too far – the Biden administration made clear the U.S. wouldn't participate in offensive military operations against Iran, fearing a broader war in the Middle East.

"We believe Israel has freedom of action to protect itself and defend itself," a senior administration official told reporters shortly after Iran's attack ended. "That's a long-standing policy, and that remains."

When asked by a reporter if the U.S. would help Israel counter with offensive military operations, the official said no.

"We would not envision ourselves participating in such a thing," this person said.

According to a second U.S. official, that message was also delivered directly to Israel's top officials in a private phone call Sunday between Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.

In addition to expressing support for Israel's defense, the official said Austin made clear in a very "direct" manner that the U.S. was not planning to join a potential counteroffensive on Israel's behalf.

Iran's attack on Israel late Saturday had deeply rattled world leaders, including U.S. officials who initially thought the Islamic Republic had readied only a dozen or so ballistic missiles. One senior U.S. official described their hand "trembling" while taking notes in a meeting upon learning that U.S. intelligence believed more than 100 ballistic missiles being prepared for launch.

The attack was considered retaliation for a military strike on what Iran called its consulate in Damascus, Syria, widely believed to be Israel's doing.

In the end, U.S. officials estimate that Iran launched some 300 missiles and drones, including more than 100 ballistic missiles and 30 cruise missiles.

Two U.S. officials confirm to ABC News that about half of those missiles either failed to launch, failed in flight or crashed before reaching their targets in Israel.

Israeli's air defense systems were successful in defeating the majority of the remaining air threats, with U.S., U.K. and Jordanian forces coming to their aid.

According to U.S. Central Command, American forces in the region – including two U.S. Navy destroyers in the eastern Mediterranean Sea -- shot down some 80 drones and up to six ballistic missiles. One missile was shot down near Erbil, Iraq, by U.S. forces who suspected it was headed toward Israel.

The senior administration official told reporters afterward the defensive effort was a "spectacular" success, even if Iran's intent "clearly was to cause significant damage and deaths in Israel."

Israel's response wasn't immediately clear. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with his war cabinet on Sunday, and top officials said a decision could be made as early as Monday.

President Joe Biden had already spoken privately with Netanyahu within hours of the attack. Biden later joined G7 leaders on Sunday in a statement expressing "full solidarity and support to Israel."

"I think coming together in such a very, very strong way under the umbrella of the United States Central Command, together with the British, together with the French and the regional players, sent a very, very clear message to Iran that you can't get away with it," said Israel's Lt. Col. Peter Lerner, a spokesperson for the Israel Defense Force.

That global support for Israel was a notable shift for Israel after months of criticism its destructive military operations against Hamas following the Oct. 7 attacks. Israel has defended the offensive operation as necessary to defend itself against future attacks.

U.S. officials said that they believe Iran's attack late Saturday was mostly a failure, and the goal now should be a carefully calibrated response with broad international support.

"I think Israel has to think through carefully what it does next," the senior administration official said.

ABC News' Martha Raddatz, Luis Martinez and Britt Clennett contributed to this report.

If you see Israel attacking back while after all of her allies saying don't escalate, then know that these allies are just lying to people the same how they lied about the genocide of gaza. It means that they truly want war with Iran. They want to remove all the resistance in ME and change their government, so that every ME government will normalize with Israel.

I don't necessarily believe this to be true but I decided to post it regardless as an article of interest...Israel and Europe and America are one and the same...it's 90% some type of psychological operations...but then again, the bonds of kufr may be easily broken if enough pressure is exerted...the bonds that unite them are trivial..."Even united, they would not ˹dare˺ fight against you except ˹from˺ within fortified strongholds or from behind walls. Their malice for each other is intense: you think they are united, yet their hearts are divided. That is because they are a people with no ˹real˺ understanding." Qurʾān 59:14

Live updates: Israel carried out strike in Iran, source says

The report comes amid heightened tension after Iran's weekend strikes on Israeli targets.

What we know

  • A person familiar with the situation told NBC News that Israel carried out an operation in Iran. Earlier, Israeli officials notified U.S. officials that a response was coming.
  • Israel has vowed it would respond to Iran's attack on Saturday, when Iran fired more than 300 drones and missiles at Israel. The strikes did not cause widespread damage, and no deaths were reported.
  • A counterstrike would be likely to deepen anxieties in capitals worldwide about the prospect of an all-out war in the Middle East.
  • The Iranian strikes were in retaliation for an Israeli strike April 1 on an Iranian consular building in Syria, which killed two of Tehran’s top generals.
  • Tehran's Mehrabad Airport says flights are suspended

    NBC News

The information desk at Tehran Mehrabad Airport said all flights are suspended until 10:30 a.m. local time (3 a.m. ET).

Mehrabad Airport is not the international airport in Tehran — it is a city airport.

The website of Imam Khomeini International Airport, just outside Tehran, said all departures were delayed until 10:55 a.m.

Flights were suspended in Tehran, Isfahan and Shiraz, the state media agency IRNA reported earlier.

Tehran vowed 'decisive, definitive and regretful' response before strike

Iran's foreign minister issued a stern warning to the Israeli government earlier today. In an interview with CNN, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian cautioned that Iran's response to any attacks from Israel would be "decisive, definitive and regretful."

"We do not seek to create tension and crisis or increase such situations in the Middle East, and we sincerely hope the Israeli regime does not repeat this egregious error," he added.

Nuclear sites in Isfahan are safe, Iran state media says

    phil-helsel-circle-byline-template.jpg

State-backed Iranian media FARS reported that nuclear sites in Isfahan are safe amid an Israeli strike on the country.

“Some reports from foreign news agencies about incidents in these facilities is incorrect,” reported the news agency, which is aligned with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Isfahan is in central Iran. A military factory there was attacked last year.

Iran's weekend strike was country's first direct military assault on Israel

    190619-daniel_arkin-byline2285.jpg

Iran’s attack on Saturday marked the first time the country’s theocratic regime has launched a direct military assault on Israel. It came less than two weeks after Israel bombing of an Iranian diplomatic compound in Damascus, which killed seven Iranian military commanders.

Israel, the U.S. and their allies managed to fend off the Iranian drone and missile attacks, which caused relatively little harm or damage.

U.S. not involved in Israeli strike in Iran

    andrea_mitchell1.jpg

The U.S. was not involved in Israel's strike in Iran, a source familiar with the situation confirmed, adding that there was a pre-notification to the U.S. from the Israelis about the strike.

    No comment from Netanyahu's office

    anna_byline.jpg

A source in Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office declined to comment on the reported strike in Iran.

The Israel Defense Forces spokesman’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Flights suspended from Tehran, Isfahan and Shiraz, Iran state news says

    NBC News

Flights in the Iranian cities of Tehran, Isfahan and Shiraz were suspended Friday morning, the state-run IRNA news agency reported amid reports of a possible strike in the country.

“The flights out of these airports have not been canceled up to this point, they have been suspended. Passengers before leaving, check flight information,” the news agency said on Telegram.

Israel has carried out operation in Iran tonight, source says

Mosheh Gains, Courtney Kube and Dan De Luce

A person familiar with the situation told NBC News that Israel carried out an operation in Iran tonight.

Separately, Israeli officials notified U.S. officials earlier today that a response was coming.

The Israeli Embassy in Washington declined to comment on whether Israel has launched an attack on Iran.

    The CIA declined to comment.

U.S. has said it will defend Israel, not engage in offensive operations against Iran

    190619-daniel_arkin-byline2285.jpg

President Joe Biden told Israeli leaders that while the U.S. commitment to defend Israel is ironclad, the U.S. would not participate in offensive operations against Iran, a senior administration official told NBC News.

U.S. officials have told NBC News that Washington was concerned about Israel’s responding quickly without thinking through the potential fallout.

Iran’s foreign minister warned today of response to any force

    phil-helsel-circle-byline-template.jpg

Iran “will not hesitate a bit to assert its inherent right to give a decisive and proper response” to any use of force against it by Israel, Iran’s foreign affairs minister told the United Nations today.

Hossein Amirabdollahian said that Iran’s attack Saturday on Israel, which he said was a forced response to Israel's April 1 attack on is embassy in Syria, was over.

“Iran’s legitimate defense and countermeasures have been concluded,” Amirabdollahian said. “Therefore the Israeli regime, the terrorist Israeli regime, must be compelled to stop any further military adventurism against our interests.”

“Certainly in case of any use of force by the Israeli regime and violating our sovereignty, the Islamic Republic of Iran will not hesitate a bit to assert its inherent right to give a decisive and proper response to it, to make the regime regret its actions,” he said.

Iran’s attack by drones and missiles was mostly thwarted, but some damage was done in Israel, officials said.

Two Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps commanders — Gen. Mohammad Reza Zahedi and Gen. Mohammad Hadi Haji Rahimi — were killed in the Israeli strike on an Iranian consular building in Syria. Five other Revolutionary Guard members were also killed.

Scott Ritter uses precise logistical language to describe what happened last Saturday night - DEFINITELY WORTH WATCHING!!! - “The Dome” COMPLETELY FAILED! – Scott Ritter - The Jimmy Dore Show w/ Kurt Metzger riding shotgun - 32 minutes 3 seconds - "Former Iraqi weapons inspector Scott Ritter has emerged as one of the premier critics of American foreign policy, and lately has set his sights on Israel’s genocidal assault on Gaza and the recent strikes on Israel from Iran. As long as one understands he's not a friend nor an ally...then yes I would agree...he's a whistleblower and a truthteller par excellence...but he's simultaneously a white supremacist and a believer in American exceptionalism and an advocate of Manifest Destiny and an adherent of the White Man's Civilizing Burden and a supporter of Zionist ethno-supremacy...but his political and logistical analysis is usually 100% on point

They will fall when Iran goes full war against Israel, this is because the people of these countries will go against their leaders who will side with Israel. In such a situation, you can not stay neutral and you must choose side. That's why these Arab leaders are constantly crying for no escalation and they try anything to neutralize with Israel, putting full pressure to Iran. But they don't understand that even if you neutralize with racist Israel, there will be revolution inside their countries and these leaders will be wiped out.

I'm amazed that many Sunnis have come out in Shia youtube channels and siding with Shias about the Palestine issue, this is amazing, this is what these arab leaders fear most, the unity of Shia and Sunnis.

Hmm, interesting...the "Anti-Semitic mobs" or "Iranian proxies" leading the protests at universities means that the organizations leading the protests have (thus far) remained neutral, free, unbought, organic, grassroots etc....of course, the powers-that-be can't allow this to continue...the movement has be coopted and rerouted...so naturally they'll try to buy and sterilize the leadership...the aim would be to 'calm' the 'rhetoric' and bring it inline to more mainstream CNN narrative...calls for two state solution or other such nonsense

Salam it's a well known dirty tactic of creation of spiral of silence by relating these movements  into infamous supporters of Zionism & new (Zionist) world order   likewise Soros & Rockefeller 's family which they are disturbing few amount of fund between student groups in order to deviate them into their desired procedure because currently students groups are chanting slogans  both in favor of Palestine & against  new (Zionist) world order  which as @Eddie Mecca has said  they are trying to push them toward their evil agenda by disturbing few amount of funds & etc between student groups while until now these groups have been independent groups so then they couldn't accuse them into receiving funds from Iran or Hezbollah or Hamas  & other anti zionist groups ; so therefore now they are spreading their poison between these groups by such little funds & doing a massive propaganda about it which source of this claim is NYpost which is propaganda machine of another infamous zionist   Rupert Murdoch .

some examples of fake & fabricated  news by NY post

Quote

In October 2022, a rogue employee of the Post published a series of racist, violent and sexually explicit headlines on its Twitter account. Shortly after these headlines appeared, a spokesperson for the Post stated that the "vile and reprehensible" headlines were the result of a hack and were immediately removed, and that the incident was under investigation. The spokesperson later stated that "the unauthorized conduct was committed by an employee, and the employee has been terminated."[136]

Quote

In May 2023, amid reports that a wave of migrants might soon cross the American southern border, the Post ran a front-page story stating that 20 homeless veterans had been ordered to vacate upstate New York hotels to make room for arriving migrants. Fox News and other conservative outlets sent the story viral, with numerous conservatives expressing outrage at President Joe Biden and other Democrats. The story was soon found to have been fabricated by a local veterans advocate.[137][138]
