:salam:

From the very facts, so called decapitated babies and 1,200 dead in 'Israel' from a few rockets, to the 1,000 Hamas fighters found dead, not forgetting YouTube full of bots comments who all seem either neutral or pro-israel, do you feel a new step has been taken in misinformation with this conflict?

Or have I drunk too much of that conspiracy potion?

Salam recently zionists have initited using AI generated pictures or releasing more misinformation.

Is the Ben Shapiro burnt baby photo real or fake? Origin explored as host comes under fire over AI generated claim

Ben Shapiro faces backlash after posting 'AI image of burnt Israeli baby'

Quote

Ben Shapiro is once again under fire. On October 12, Shapiro shared an image of a baby burned to death and blamed Hamas for the same.

"You wanted pictorial proof of dead Jewish babies? Here it is, you pathetic Jew-haters. Israel will minimize civilian casualties."

Initially, X community notes claimed that the image was AI-generated. Shapiro has since deleted the post.

Quote

AI detectors can be inaccurate and confirmed that the official X handle of the Israeli Prime Minister had posted the very same image, which was also confirmed by The Jerusalem Post.

Quote

Social media personality Jackson Hinkle was quick to point out Shapiro's alleged deception, posting on X: "The image that Ben Shapiro tried to pass off as a 'burnt baby corpse' was an AI-generated fake image!"

Quote

However, many X users were critical of the image and claimed that it was fake. Community notes alleged that the image was AI-generated, as proven by aiornot.com. A lot of users claimed that the image was actually an image from a puppy rescue, in which the puppy was then edited. Netizens were angry at Ben Shapiro for using an allegedly AI-generated image to allegedly lie about the Israel-Hamas war.

Certainly not everything is true that pops up, which is why Islam tells us to verify information before it reaches us.

But what is clear is the situation in Palestine, I've been following some accounts of those who are living in Gaza and it is true that Israel is going on full beast, rampage mode. It though is true that many babies are being found under the rubble.

For sure, there is very little doubt about what's happening in Gaza.

I was of course speaking about those murderous, horrific, whatever you call them attacks by Hamas, which very strangely took Israelis 5 days to recover from and count their dead.

But more than that, I have the feeling that social media is invaded by fake profiles, a phenomenon which began with the Ukrainian conflict, but seems to be going full scale right now. Maybe that's because it would be 1 billion muslims taking sides against 2 millions jews.

Whatever comes out of the terrorist Zionist regime and their allies is most likely inaccurate or propaganda, unless properly verified by independent agencies.

The Resistance will likely exaggerate their successes and minimize their losses, too.

Brother @realizm,

The death of Palestinan children is incredibly real.  No fake AI imagery, no bogus claim of 40 decapitated babies, no false claims of raping women.

I have children of my own and seeing the pain, suffering, and misery these parents are enduring is breaking my heart 100 times a day.

Middle East Eyes is documenting the crimes committed by the Zionists.  God hasten the appearance of sahab al 3sri wa zaman.

What's happening certainly seems to be real.
I'm skeptical of all media these days.
With Y2K came the age of deception, and they've sharpened their skills.
"I've seen it with my own two eyes" doesn't mean anything anymore.
Even youtube videos that have music in the background for effect. You know they're a remake.
imho, what is happening is causing mass destruction and genocide. What remains unknown is the real agenda.
The problem is; If you accept one theory and start connecting dots, your whole outlook changes.
It's a red pill, blue pill kinda thing.

@Son of Placid

I hope you are well and in good health.  I realize I'm talking to the son of the deceased man.  He was a wonderful man and my condolences to you.  When is his death commemoration?

The Arab media for the most part are reporting in real time and we are witnessing the carnage taking place.  It is being documented by various channels and the testimonies of various children, women, and the elderly is heartbreaking and bone shattering.

If you want to know a credible source, start with Professor Norman Finkelstein.  He recently did a podcast with Mikalea Peterson.

God bless you.

Salam their fake claim has been refuted by Aljazeera which IDF & prozionisits  have referred to report from AlJazeera about intercepting   Hamas missiles which  they have claimed  that last missile has fell down on hospital  which after that Aljazeera has made a special report that has shown after intercepting mentioned last Hamas  missile by so called Iron dome  in 18:58:50 in 2 & 5 seconds later than that fake state of Israel has targeted al ahli hospital  & a place near to it by two missiles .

“He then deleted the tweet,” Majzoubt said.

“The CCTV feed displays the time stamp of 7.59pm which was approximately one hour after the impact. The IDF then edited the tweet and removed the attached footage. Other Israeli army affiliated accounts also began circulating footage, which was later debunked and confirmed to be from August 2022.”

Showing how quickly the disinformation campaign began to spread, Majzoub said that another Twitter account claimed to be an Al Jazeera journalist, @faridakhan saying: “I saw with my own eyes it was Hamas Ayyash 250 Rocket”.

This account was, however, fake and deactivated after it proved to be fake.

The Al Jazeera network acted swiftly, releasing this statement on X, formerly known as Twitter: “This account has no ties to Al Jazeera its views or content”.

“After analysing the footage we can see a rocket being intercepted (by Israel’s Iron Dome defence system) and breaking apart in mid air. Two more explosions follow, the first can be seen in the distance followed by a second much larger explosion at Al Ahli Arab hospital.

“This was the moment hundreds were killed.”

According to Majzoub, Al Jazeera’s digital investigation team has dedicated a detailed investigation into the matter.

Investigations reveal discrepancies in Israel’s Gaza hospital attack claims

What happened?

The explosion took place at about 7pm local time (16:00 GMT) on Tuesday. Live footage from Al Jazeera showed a bright light rising in the sky and flashing twice before drastically changing direction and exploding.

A blast is then seen on the ground in the distance, followed by a second much larger explosion closer to the camera.

— Al Jazeera English (@AJEnglish) October 19, 2023

Based on a detailed review of all videos, Sanad concluded that the flash Israel attributed to a misfire was in fact consistent with Israel’s Iron Dome missile defence system intercepting a missile fired from the Gaza Strip and destroying it in midair.

Channel 4, which published a video analysis examining the evidence presented by both sides, said there was “no proof that the midair and ground explosions are necessarily linked”.

So far, there appears to be no conclusive evidence to determine who was behind the second blast, the one that hit al-Ahli hospital. A number of organisations have suggested that the relatively small crater left by the attack appears incompatible with weapons habitually launched by Israel.

Quote

Footage reviewed by the BBC, meanwhile, revealed inconsistencies in the reconstruction of events presented by Israeli army spokesperson Daniel Hagari on Wednesday. “The spokesman said it had been fired from a nearby cemetery – and there is a cemetery next to the hospital. But a map displayed by the spokesman showed a launch site further away. We have not been able to locate a cemetery there,” the British network said.

What other holes are there in the Israeli narrative?

Forensic Architecture, a research group based at the University of London, analysed photos of the impact crater at the scene, saying that “patterns of radial fragmentation on the southwest side of the impact crater, as well as a shallow channel leading into the crater from the northeast” indicate the projectile likely came from the northeast – “the direction of the Israeli-controlled side of the Gaza perimeter”.

Fake Israel-Hamas videos debunked as nations call for misinformation crackdown

One graphic tweet by a verified account on X/Twitter, claimed that a pregnant woman’s body had been cut open by Hamas. Yet according to contextual notes left by X users in a new feature introduced by the owner, Elon Musk, in a bid to tackle misinformation, the account is actually a report of the Sabra and Shatila massacre of Palestinian people in Lebanon in 1982.

Quote

FAKE COTENT:

A pregnant woman in Southern Israel was found by Hamas terrorists. They dissected her body. Her stomach was cut open and they took the fetus out with the umbilical cord. And let the unborn child die slowly out of his mother’s womb. This is what inhuman savages Hamas do to people.

— Aditya Raj Kaul (@AdityaRajKaul) October 10, 2023

BBC Verify journalist Shayan Sardarizadeh has been flagging misleading quotes and images on X since the conflict began over the weekend.

Israeli media claimed images show Hamas fighters but several civilians have been identified including a journalist

Quote

While Israeli media initially suggested that the images, apparently filmed by at least one Israeli soldier, showed the surrender of Hamas fighters, several of the men pictured were identified as civilians, including a journalist.

Al-Araby Al-Jadeed (the New Arab) said its correspondent Diaa al-Kahlout was among them. In a statement, the news organisation said Kahlout had been rounded up along with his brothers, relatives and other civilians at the market street in Beit Lahiya, northern Gaza, and then “were forced to strip off their clothes and searched and humiliated before they were taken to an unknown location”.The Committee to Protect Journalists called for his release as Husam Zomlot, head of the Palestinian Mission in London, said on X the images evoked “some of humanity’s darkest passages of history”.

Hani Almadhoun, who works at a US charity which raises funds for the UN’s Palestine relief agency, UNRWA, said he recognised his brother, Mahmoud, a shopkeeper, in one video.

“I recognised him immediately … and recognised the area as the same area they had been sheltering.”

Almadhoun, who lives in Virginia, said his sister identified his 27-year-old nephew Abood packed in with a bunch of men in the back of a military truck. Almadhoun’s father and 13-year-old nephew, Omar, were also detained.

All four were later released, said Hani, who added that none of them had links to militant groups.

There have also been conflicting reports about where the images were filmed. An Israeli government spokesperson claimed it was in the vicinity of Jabaliya and Shuja’iya, Hamas strongholds where there has been heavy street fighting since Israel resumed its ground offensive last week, while Palestinians – including a Hamas spokesperson – said the images were from Beit Lahiya, claiming the men had been rounded up at two UN schools being used as shelters, pointing to an identifying shop sign in one picture.

In another piece of footage, stripped men can be seen being transported in a military vehicle.

While the Israel Defense Forces – which were contacted by the Guardian about the source of the pictures and if they were officially distributed – have yet to comment, a spokesperson appeared to suggest that the Israeli military was arresting and interrogating all men it came across in areas where there was fighting.

An Israeli government spokesperson, Eylon Levy, insisted the men had been apprehended in areas he described as Hamas strongholds.

“We are talking about individuals who are apprehended in Jabaliya and Shuja’iya […] Hamas strongholds and centres of gravity,” he told a briefing.

“We are talking about military-age men who were discovered in areas that civilians were supposed to have evacuated weeks ago.”
