سلام

This narration caught my attention today.

There's so much to carefully examine in this narration, however, one part, specifically stood out for me.

In verse 7:172 God says, He took "from the children of Adam, from their loins/backs". The pronouns and the statement are clear that the offspring were from the children of Adam, and not Adam himself.

However, right after, the Imam (عليه السلام) mentions that Adam's offspring were exited from his back/loin, singular third person pronouns.

Then the Imam (عليه السلام) says that the offspring were made to recognize and see his being/Nafs/self.

Without being made to recognize and see him, none of them would recognize his lord

So my questions are:

1. Did they see God? His Nafs? And if so, how did they see God, since God cannot be seen?

2. Why is there a change in pronouns and in what the Imam (عليه السلام) is saying versus what God is saying? From whose back from the offspring taken? Adam's back? Or the backs of بنی آدم / his children?

Salam it's about seeing Allah by heart not by eye .

Imam Ali (a) said about Allah’s existence that he did not see Him with his eyes but with the realities of faith. What is meant by that and how can we see Allah in such a manner?

Quote

When the heart is clean from sins, mind is transparent and more able to see the realities which are behind the outer senses. These realities lead the human being to the absolute Truth of Allah.

Quote

Imam ‘Ali was asked by one of his companions, Tha΄lab al-Yamani whether he had seen his Lord. Imam ‘Ali replied, “How can I worship something that I do not see?” When asked how he saw Him, Imam ‘Ali replied, “Eyes do not reach Him with physical sight, but the hearts reach Him with the realities of belief.”12

Quote

1. Imam Ali (عليه السلام) has the maximum and highest level of intellect after the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA), that is why his faith in Allah is the maximum after the  Prophet (SAWA). The Hadeeth stated that the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) told Ali (AS): O Ali, no one Knew Allah (properly) but myself and you.
2. Seeing Allah by eyes is impossible because He is above all senses and He can never be confined or limited to any sense. Allah is The Creator of all senses and whatever can be sensed and whatever can not be sensed.
3. Proper Intellect leads us to the fact that lot of things in the existence are comprehended and known by intellect and reason not by materialistic senses.
4. Realities of Faith in Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) are in each and every thing in this universe, but many people don't see it because of their indulging in darkness of sins which disable their intellectual abilities. When the heart is clean from sins, mind is transparent and more able to see the realities which are behind the outer senses. These realities lead the human being to the absolute Truth of Allah.

5. Realities of faith are for every believer according to his degree in the purity of heart and proper thinking. More purity in heart leads to more proper thinking which in turn leads to discovering more realities of faith.

6. The Faith in Allah is the faith in the greatest Truth in the universe. Proper intellect can never deviate from clear facts, what about the greatest Fact. Faith in Allah increases by proper thinking which leads to comprehending more realities of faith.

Alla offspring of prophet Adam (عليه السلام) have came out his back as tiny small particles in world of Dhar so all of them have confiremed oneness of Allah .

The World of Command (Arabic:عالم الأمر) or (ālam al-amr) stands in contrast to the World of Creation (alam al-khalq) and refers to the supernatural world. Unlike the World of Creation, the beings in the World of Command are incorporeal and cannot be perceived by the five senses. The basis of the coinage of this term can be traced back to the Quranic statement "All creation and command belong to Him" [1], though some scholars have questioned the relevance of this verse to the existence of such a world.

This doesn't explain the change and difference in the pronouns between the verse and what the Imam (عليه السلام) is saying.
