Bismillahi Al-Rahman Al-Rahim. AsalamuAlaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatu.

I'm posting this to encourage any who would like to join the poetry club, all is welcome.

The Wife

Dear lover,

As the world spins in its hectic state,

You are like the clouds up above that cover,

Always steady, calm, never late,

A soothing presence like that of a mother,

Like clouds, like mothers, you are gentle and light yet carry the weight of life itself,

When the water breaks, you bring down life itself,

So how can men look down on women, when we look up to the clouds asking for it to prolong life itself,

Generations exist only because of you,

To say otherwise is simply untrue,

You, the collection of my soul after the splitting of it into two,

I, the value of one, you, the value of three,

"Your mother, your mother, your mother", the true holy trinity.

That was a brilliant simile, I love that second line in the quote for it's double meaning.

I will join the club inshaAllah and post some of my old stuff later. I don't/can't write poetry anymore

That would be wonderful, even two lines of something you value as poetry and that can remind any of us of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) or his Ahlulbayt ('A), is more than welcomed :).

You don't have to write poetry. If you love poetry then you're more than welcome to join the club and as the club expands InshaAllah, you can be kept up to date with new poetry written and read as you like.

In the depths of the hearts of the faithful,

The love for Ahlulbayt runs deep and plentiful,

For their love is a beacon of light,

Guiding us through the darkness of the night.

Ali, the gate of knowledge, the epitome of justice,

Fatima, the mother of the infallibles, the embodiment of kindness,

Together they lived a life of love and sacrifice,

Their love, an inspiration that forever thrives.

From the sands of Karbala to the halls of Kufa,

Their love endured, never to falter,

Through trials and tribulations, their bond remained strong,

A love that stood the test of time, for eternity long.

Their love teaches us the true meaning of sacrifice,

To give without expecting any price,

To love unconditionally, without any hesitation,

To follow in their footsteps, with unwavering dedication.

Oh, Ali and Fatima, your love is profound,

A love that touches our souls and surrounds,

A love that teaches us the path to the divine,

A path that leads us to eternal sunshine.
