Midjourney Experiments

I used the following prompt on midjourney (had an idea for some cartoons):

Quote

An hijabi schoolgirl in uniform debating with her adult female (non-hijabi) teacher in formal dress. Both are standing. Animated debate. Canon 35mm landscape, photojournalistic image. --v 5.1

And it provides the following image. Obviously not quite what I was looking for! Any suggestions?

Anyone not familiar Midjourney is an AI programme that creates images from scratch based on your instructions.

Seems like it just photo edited the hijab on top of a catholic school’s image. Incidentally both girls have one hand’s fingers broken by the previous torture of the headmistress!!

That AI package has a well-known issue with fingers!

Stylize Prompt

This was shared on Twtter, so I thought I would pass it on.

png white background, [subject], in the style of animated illustrations, [environment], full body, text-based --style raw --stylize 100

Below I took out the square brackets and put in old man for subject and mosque for environment.

I did the same here, but changed the stylise figure  to 250 instead of the previous 100:

This time the stylize figure was 500:

Raisin the stylise number makes the pic more photo-realistic and reducing it makes it flatter and more cartoon-like.

I started using the blend function in Midjourney

I uploaded these pictures of various muqarnas that I had taken.

Sultan Qaboos mosque in Muscat Oman, a mosque in Kashan and another in Isfahan.

It came up with this:

The source images.

Very much so. This country has a deep history and it shows everywhere. There were quite a few places around Muscat that I still want to see.

Also there are quite a few ziarats in Salalah which is also quite a beautiful city, about 1.5 hours flight time from Muscat and near the border with Yemen. I am just repeating what people say about these ziarats and have no research about their authenticity.

I’m glad you enjoyed brother. Oman is a good place to move to and live in brother. Check the video below about this brother who was living in uk and moved to Oman.
