I am really frustrated and disturbed by these happenings. My concern is not properly standing up to the LGBT. What will we tell Allah on Judgment Day when He asks what we did about this rampant falsehood? The problem is I don't know what to do. I'm not eloquent enough to speak or debate. I'm just sitting here watching this disaster unfold. How am I better than the misguided people in the Quran who just stood and watched as corruption and oppression would spread? We need to do something, as laymen. But what?

There is a website in the US that lists and describes all the DEI/CRT programs, initiatives, and mandates at most of the universities and colleges in the country (also has private secondary schools as well)

https://criticalrace.org

This nonsense is everywhere. At the university I attended many years ago, they now require students to undergo "antiracism training" and to sign documents admitting their guilt for being white westerners. Some schools require students to read Ibram X Kendi (who despite his Muslim-sounding name is about as Muslim as Donal Trump) and to post videos of themselves on the campus website declaring agreement and solidarity with the contents of his book.

There are "Bias-Incident Response Teams" that prowl campuses look for "micro-aggressions". Students can anonymously file complaints against faculty and other students, who are then dragged in from of the diversity board and the local police, and asked to explain themselves.

and people in the US have the gall to criticize Iran's treatment of its citizens?

At least teachers in Iran are not dragged in front of commissars if they declare that biological sex is real!

America, Canada, Europe, New Zealand, Australia, Israel will never be post-racial...it's an absolute impossibility...racism is an ingrained formula...it's an indoctrinated worldview that works...they'll never ever abandon it...you can't pass scholastic legislation or set out to modify an outdated curriculum and expect racism to magically vanish overnight...racism is a matter of the heart and mind and requires a nonmaterialist remedy...deep state may be attempting to instigate race riots so they can clamp down and declare nationwide martial law...radical law enactment will be needed...the petrodollar will be collapsing shortly and BRICS is on the rise...the future looks uncertain and there's no telling what it may hold (e.g. decades-long economic recession etc.)…it might be a smooth transition into the new multipolar world or we might hit severe turbulence...we might find ourselves where Russia found herself during the Yeltsin years.

White conservatives and liberals have both benefitted off of slavery and racism...the former is a stubborn bigot who refuses to acknowledge the folly of his xenophobic ways...the racist right-winger is usually upfront and honest about his beliefs and motives though...and the latter (i.e. leftist, liberal, postmodernist, progressive etc.) is arguably the greater enemy and a hypocrite of the highest degree...Obama did more for gay rights and did nothing for black rights during his two term tenure as president...listening to white postmodernists lecture us about the evils of racism is like watching Colonel Harland Sanders deliver a presentation on the benefits of a vegan diet or on the dangers of high salt and bad cholesterol...binary political party affiliation is an antiquated concept and akin to political trickery...overwhelming majority of American citizenry fall somewhere in-between republican/democrat artificial dualistic nonsense.

Israel is a test case for the world as to whether explicit (not implicit) racism and apartheid policies based on racism will be tolerated.

I say explicit racism because Israel defines itself as a 'Jewish State', i.e. a state for Jews and noone else. Not for the Palestinians, the native people of that 'State'. Many people don't stop and think about this statement. a 'Jewish State' ? Imagine if the US defined itself as a 'Christian State' (which many Trumpists want to do) or a 'White State', i.e. only for White people. Imagine the International uproar that would happen ? Yet Israel does this and gets a free pass. Amazing to think about.

The petro dollar is collapsing, about BRICS being on the rise, not sure yet. Read our recent BRICS thread for more info.

and Parents, please read the materials your school sends home. If they start to teach this nonsense to your kids in your school you need to get your kids out of that school. Period. Either home school or find an Islamic or even a non Islamophobic, non Trumpist led Christian School would be better.

What you have to understand is that in most schools, the orders come down from the State to the School Board to the School Administration (i..e Principle) and finally are usually imposed on the teachers. Don't put all the blame on the teachers, although they are responsible for implementing it. Most teachers are put in a position that if they get an order from higher up, they either implement it or are fired. The ethical ones would choose to be fired (or quit) rather than implement this, but their not making the policies. The policies are made much higher up.

The final and ultimate responsibility for educating the children lies with the parents, and specifically the father. Speaking as a father who put three boys thru their education, fathers you need to step up and make the tough choices, should your children be exposed to this garbage. If you don't know what to do, we can start another thread about alternative Islamic education.

I was raised and grew up in California, in the LA area. I loved living there and there are still alot of good things about the area. At the same time, I knew that I wanted children and a family and I knew I didn't want to raise my children in the land of liberal tyranny and the schools there are ground zero for the liberal indoctrination. There were no good Islamic schools at that time (there are a few there now). I had to make a tough choice and leave what I consider to be still my home for the sake of my children. When I came to Dearborn, I knew one brother (brother in Islam, not biological brother, my whole family was still in California).  It was a tough choice and not something I wanted to do, but I did it and it turned out better than I expected. As it says in the Holy Quran 'Migrate in the Way of Allah....' and this is an order for those who find their safety, the safety of their family at risk. Only an irresponsible parent would knowingly expose their children to this nonsense.

Know anyone else who has called their wife Michael in public?   Twice?
Joan Rivers mentioned it and died while in minor surgery.

In Calgary, people must be some 200 meters away while protesting Drag queens, in the library, "reading" to children, and parents sick enough to take their children there.
We've got Pride day, Pride month, and Pride year. Don't say a word, you could be arrested. If you tell your son he's not a daughter, you can be arrested. Sodom and Gomorra has nothing on us.
Racism and slavery has always been a thing and hasn't stopped. It's Biblical.
Twisted history is geared to keep it alive.
I remember the mini series, "Roots" where Americans went to Africa and chased the natives, caught them and stuffed them in the lower deck, shipped them to America.
Then I start reading reports that say one black man was worth ten Irishmen. Indentured is not slavery, it's paying someone just enough to live in the camps, usually in debt to the owners.
Apparently most of the slave traders in Africa were black and sold many blacks to Americans.
Now Canada has to "reconcile" with the natives with money, and whites have to apologise for something their great grandparents may have done.
Now Canadians have to apologise for their crime minister, all the way to India.

Salaam to you from someone still stuck in California due mostly to aging sick parents!

Nice to hear the transition has been a good one for you and hour family. I often wonder if i could handle leaving the only area ive known all 47 years of my life. Im HIGHLY attached (not a good thing) to my familys farm and everything else as its all ive ever known but its getting rough here for SO many reasons.. I would totally go off grid if i could cuz I'm just so sick of everything.. and you can't help but see it as soon as you open your eyes in the morning...you just cant get away from it... ugh. Maybe someday the nauseousness from having to deal with this situation will eventually be enough to relocate.

Salam. Bismillah. There are two thing necessary in order to make the move.

First is tawwakul. You need to rely on Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) and know that Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) is Al Razak (The one who provides sustenance), Al Rahman, and Al Rahim.

Second, you need to have a plan. The plan might change but you need to have an initial plan about where you are going to live, what you are going to do for work, etc. When I moved to Dearborn I had a job lined up, otherwise I wouldn't have moved. The job turned out to be really not that good and not a good fit for me. The person who offered me the job was not sincere and they ended up taking advantage of me because I was new to the area and didn't know this person's (bad) reputation. This often happens when you go to a new area. At the same time, while I was in that job I networked with other brothers and sisters who ended up helping me and I found another, better job and everything worked out in the end. I was never homeless and my children never went to sleep hungry, and this is due to the mercy of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) which is always with us, no matter where we go.

If you move, it won't be easy. You will go thru some things, some major bumps in the road and hurdles to overcome. I know these are easier to go thru at 27 vs 47. At the same time they will happen whether you stay in California or leave, they just might be different. If you (and your family) are in a situation where you have enough to survive, are safe, and you can practice the deen in a way that you are making spiritual progress then where you are is probably better than what you think you will get wherever you are thinking of going. If anyone of these are not there, i.e. you are not making enough to live a dignified life (food, clothing, shelter) on a basic level, you and your family are not safe, or you are not allowed to practice your deen then you should leave.

The main reason I left is because I wanted to have children and I thought it was very likely that my children wouldn't be safe in their deen where I was living. There were very few Muslims around and there were alot of negative influences (gangs, drugs, etc) and the school system was poor in terms of educational quality and heavy into liberal indoctrination. I think this is a valid reason for moving, if you are in this situation.
