O glorious dawn, resplendent light
Upon our thoughts in darkest night

Sweet throne of mercy Ever bright
Keep us close within Your sight

Lest we fall like chicks in Spring
keep us Lord on upward wing

 Should demons come and block our way
May your mercy with us stay.
