salamalykum I was born sunni and raised sunni (am shia now)and we had morning and evening duas to do that we were taught that the prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) would do, my question is do shias hold the same belief that the prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) would have certain dhikr or dua that he would do in the morning and evening, if so what were they?

Dear brother, congratulations on coming aboard the Ark of Salvation. May Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) grant you the best in here and in the hereafter.

Yes, there are duas for different days and occasions, you can find them in the book called 'Mafatih al-Jinan', which is a book of supplications from the Ahl al-Bayt (عليه السلام).

Salaam, there's a book called "Call On Me, I Answer You" that has duas for every day of the week, ziyaraats, amaal for important days and nights along with morning and evening duas for practically all occasions. It's a thick book. It has arabic, arabic transliterations and english.
