A simple Question regarding Translation of Quran

Asalam o Alaikum

I had this Simple Question if one could guide me 

I have many translations of Quran and some translations are different from other 

For Example recently i asked meaning of word Qararan 

Some translate it as Established, some as a dwelling place, some settlement, Some are fixed abode and Firm abode 

And all these meaning specially fixed, firm and settlement are meanings of this word  

But i wanted to ask why does everyone has his own translation of Quran, I do that Quran is translated according to Context rather than just the word 

Why do we have different translations from different people

Salam. Those who know Arabic want to translate the Holy Qur'an into another language so that everyone in the world would have access to the meaning of the Holy Qur'an.

There are several English translations, but some of them are controversial or status undetermined. Some translations are by non-Muslims.

Why do we have different translations from different people

Salam just knowing Arabic is not sufficient for transaltion of holy Quran which every word in Arabic can have more meaning than just one solid meaning based on many conditions which can be different acoding to position of word & situation of person who says it which a famous example is dispute of Shias & Sunnis about word of Mulah مولی which sunnis insist about just being just  friend in hadith of Ghadir while word of Mulah مولی  has 16 menainsgs which it means  person who has authority over you & etc which in similar fashion each vese of holy Quran have multi layer meanings & interpretations which everyone can see it from ifferent angles acoding to levle of his knowledge & understanding which in any era by increasing knowledge & understanding of people we will have newer translations & interpretations from it which until judgment day it won't end ecause only Allah & his chosen infallible Imams & prophet Muhammd (pbu)  &lady Fatima have ul knowledge about  meaning of all layers of holy Quran
