Ayat. Safi Golpaygani (rh)'s Poem for Imam Hussain(as)- A Translation

Hussain (عليه السلام) is the lifeblood of all that exists,

Hussain is its vision, and its gnosis.

Allah ((سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى))'s beauty, and of His names the greatest,

Through Hussain does His name 'the Most Merciful' manifest.

 

To Ibrahim (عليه السلام) and Musa (عليه السلام) and to Christ,

Hussain (عليه السلام) is a successor, a master of excellence,

To Zahra (sa) and Ali (عليه السلام) he's the light of both their eyes,

To the Seal of the Prophets (sawa), the pivot of his existence.

 

The progenitor of freemen, and the master of martyrs,

Hussain is the great divine vicegerent,

From the Ocean of Ominpotence's waters,

Hussain is a pearl, bright and resplendent.

 

With a dominion of love, detachment, and trustful contentment,

Hussain is an undisputed master and king,

By God, a perfect grace, an everlasting light,

Hussain is divinity's evidence, a conclusive proof, a comprehensive argument.
