ASALAM o Alaikum

I have two questions in my head that i need answer to

So I love science and History and I keep studying and learning them

My father is a practicing shia Muslim but not a conservative more of a liberal mindset so he lets me gain knowledge as much as i can

So while i was studying sumerians i found that we match to them Alot like Literally too much

Sumerians civilization had a king Ziusudra which in sumerian language means wise and soo does Noah in Arabic. both faced floods and have similarities but Ziusudras flood talks about more than one God... My question is why do we have soo many similarities with them

Second question is similar the same sumerians talk about Adamu as a God which obviously can be seen that its Adam in Arabic.

Why do we have soo many similarities with this old civilization

I am desperately waiting for your answers kindly give me some answers I don't wanna face any issues in coming future

JazakAllah

Sumer and Akkad seems similar to Samud and Aad. Since they existed in the region of Middle East, they were the surviving generation after the flood of Hazrat Noah so they inherited the history and faith but they kept the history and distorted faith.

It appears from history that sumer and akkad were descendants of Prophet Noah (عليه السلام) but not direct descendants, they were intervened by generations before them. They might have been around 5000 B.C but Hazrat Noah was older than that. Some say that Hazrat Noah was great great grandfather of Prophet Ibrahim (عليه السلام) but its not clear whether this is truth or not.

Brother, if Quran would have been fabricated why would our Imams tell us to recite the Quran daily. If it would have been fabricated, the first ones to take stand against it would have been our imams. But none of Imams said any such thing rather they suggested us to recite from it and told us wazaif to recite from it.

By the way, I would also like to tell you that history of past civilizations is being told to us by people who are non-muslims so when their such works is not free from personal bias so do not keep your faith at risk because of their biased remarks. One such example is location of Paran which those non-muslim tell us to bear around Sinai peninsula where as evidence show us that it's the place where ismael children of Ismael settled and it's Makkah.

You are right mayebe i read alot of hate speech many comments that quran is fabricated... I went to research and most things they said were wrong as quran and these scriptures mentioned something different

But the incident of Noah AS is what created issues for me.... Indeed Quran is Unique even skeptics try to find errors in it because of lacking evidence that is contains content that was mentioned before...

The incident of Noah As is the only thing that created doubts in my head

Bro, it's already written in Quran that those in whose heart is mischief, they try to distort teachings of Quran but they are only deceiving themselves.

As regards story of Hazrat Nuh, there is no sureity that what the historians are telling now would be confirmed by future data. And, we cannot believe these historians to be completely true as we find in their work to be affected by their bias.
