Salam,

I wanted to address my doubts on some masaib which are very famous among us, if u could kindly answer my doubts

1. Was bibi Zainab ((عليه السلام)) in sham e ghariba bear headed? Why would allah put this situation to the lady who is known for her hijab? How is this true? If bibi sughra is a daleel then, then a point comes from what i heard that only the niqab/chader etc was taken and the maknah remained, how is this proved?

2. In a masaib it is said that during the fire in the khaimas (camps) bibi sakina went in search of her father imam hussain ((عليه السلام)) when she heard his voice she hugged her father, my doubt is that the body was already pamal by the horses, how did she hug her father?

3. It is said that when bibi sakina had fire on her clothes a man said that he wanted to help, bibi sakina refused as she is from the ahlulbait, she said if u want to help me, than tell me the way to najaf, at that time it wasnt discovered that imam ali ((عليه السلام)) is buried there how is this masaib true?

4. When the lion haris was revolving imam hussain that no enemy would attack him, when he felt that no one attacked he went back to the jungle, how is this possible becuz afterwards imam hussain (عليه السلام) was attacked only, its so obvious that this would happen, how did harris just leave?

5. Is taboot, zanzeer zani allowed? There is no narrations of this

6. Plz give refrences of true masaibs of imam hussain (عليه السلام)

Plz answer these questions

May allah guide all of us

Jazakallah

Wa alaikum as salam

InshaAllah I will answer point 6 and this will give you the answer to points 1 to 5 (short answer: you don't find any of this in early, reliable historical accounts)

Kitab Maqtal al Hussain - Abu Mikhnaf

Kitab al Irshad - Al Mufid

Al Luhuf - Ibn Tawus

I also highly recommend the following  article

Salam alaikom.

Sheikh Mohammad al-Hilli talks about this in his lecture on the hijab. Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iiOpDc6vLUg

He starts discussing the hijab of the women of Aal Mohammad at the timestamp 47:22. (I put a link in the comments section of the video).

May Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) bless you and your family and grant you Jannat al-Firdaus.

@Zainabmuslimismat There are a lot of unreliable masaib that are often recited unfortunately. I don't know the reliability status of everything you asked about, but I'll provide the links to where you can read reliable accounts of what happened (including links to the above sources posted by brother Mahdavist):

  1. Relatively newly translated, extremley well researched, extremely exhaustive encylopedia-like book on the reliable accounts of what happened before, during, and after Karbala (also includes general discussions related to Ashura, e.g., analysis of the movement, the philosophy of azadari, the history of azadari, the ahadith of the Imams (a) mourning and encouraging the mourning for Imam Hussain (a), etc.): https://www.islamic-college.ac.uk/shop/the-chronicles-of-the-martyrdom-of-imam-husayn/ or https://www.al-buraq.org/products/the-chronicles-of-the-martyrdom-of-imam-husayn?_pos=5&_sid=8f9392478&_ss=r
  2. Revised edition (By Ayatollah Gharavi) of Abu Mikhnaf's account:  https://www.al-islam.org/event-taff-earliest-historical-account-tragedy-karbala-abu-mikhnaf
  3. Al Luhuf by Ibn Tawus: https://www.al-islam.org/lohoof-sighs-sorrow-sayyid-ibn-tawusKitab al Irshad: https://www.shia-maktab.info/index.php/en/library/books/english?format=raw&task=download&fid=93
  4. Kitab al Irshad by Shaykh al Mufid:  https://www.shia-maktab.info/index.php/en/library/books/english?format=raw&task=download&fid=93
  5. From Medina To Karbala: In The Words Of Imam Al Husayn by Ayatollah Muhammad-Sadiq Najmihttps://www.amazon.com/Medina-Karbala-Words-Imam-Husayn/dp/1908110228/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=from+medina+to+karbala&qid=1660097075&sr=8-1
