:bismillah:

Assalam alaikum,

Bringing hideous flashbacks of what had transpired in France the last year, two deranged fanatics have beheaded a man from whose phone a social media post was put up supporting the now-suspended spokesperson of  the ruling party, BJP, who had abused the prophet (S) earlier this month. Reports are emerging that it was a mischief pulled by his son, for which he had tendered a public apology, and these deranged freaks did this despite all that.

This is horrid, deplorable and ghastly. These deranged murderers have literally put the lives of all the Indian Muslims at risk. We are all scared. The ensuing crackdown/bloodbath that'll happen in retaliation is going to be terrible.

Brothers and sisters, please pray for us.

Jazakumallah.

Hindu Man Beheaded In Udaipur For ‘Blasphemy’; Killers Entered His Tailoring Shop Posing As Customers

Quote

Over the last three weeks, several street rallies by Muslims have been taken out across the country where participants called for beheading of Sharma and other “blasphemers”, calling it a punishment sanctioned by Islamic Sharia law for insult of Prophet Mohammed.

An effigy of Sharma was hung from a pole in Karnataka. A cleric in Jammu, while calling Hindus with a religious slur - “cow-urine drinkers” – threatened to behead anyone supporting Sharma. Multiple Instagram users uploaded videos threatening to execute the beheading threats if Sharma was not give death sentence by the state.

The victim had put up a social media post

Quote

A shopkeeper from the market, without wanting to be named, told Swarajya that Kanhaiya had put up a Facebook page commenting on the ongoing controversy over “blasphemy” by Nupur Sharma. Local Muslims objected to his post, and gave a complaint against him to the local police.

The police filed an FIR against Kanhaiya, but managed to sort out the differences between the two sides through talks. Kanhaiya returned home, but began getting death threats through phone calls and messages.

“Kanhaiya was not given police security despite very blatant threats to him,” the man said.

This correspondent could not get a statement from the police till the time of publishing this report.

Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot has reacted to the case, without identifying the victim or the killers. He appealed people to not share the video of the gruesome incident.

Quote

On Tuesday, two men, wearing skull caps, entered his shop posing as customers. While Kanhaiya was taking their measurements, one of the men attacked him. The incident has been captured on video and gone viral on the Internet.

Authorities in the western city of Udaipur shut down the Internet and restricted gatherings after the gory video of the attack was posted online, drawing huge numbers of viewers.

Ms Nupur Sharma, a spokeswoman for India's ruling right-wing Bharatiya Janata Party until her sacking this month, sparked a furore in the Islamic world when she commented on the relationship between the prophet and his youngest wife on a TV show.

stay calm and not share the video as it would "serve the attackers' motive of creating discord in society".

"Both the accused in the killing have been arrested and we will ensure strict punishment and speedy justice," Mr Ashok Gehlot, chief minister in the state of Rajasthan, where Udaipur is located, said on Twitter.

Mr Gehlot appealed to people to stay calm and not share the video as it would "serve the attackers' motive of creating discord in society".

Hijab row: ISIS threatens to 'slaughter' Hindus who dishonour Muslim women

Quote

According to The Print, the terror outfit, in the March edition of its propaganda magazine Voice of Hind said, "Every Hindu coward putting an eye on the honour of our sisters will be slaughtered into pieces mercilessly."

The magazine also accused the Muslim women in India of adopting to western customs which is causing harm to them. “The dilution also led to a degradation of its image in the eyes of believers who, drunk in the fervour of western ways, started to reject it and consider it conservative,” it read, reports The Print.

Quote

The Karnataka High Court, on Tuesday, said hijab was not part of the essential religious practice in Islam and effectively upheld the ban against the headscarf in educational institutions while dismissing a batch of petitions filed by a few Muslim girl students from Udupi Government Pre-University Girls' College who sought permission to attend classes wearing hijab.

The court had also suggested the possibility of some “unseen hands” behind the hijab row to engineer social unrest and disharmony. "The way hijab imbroglio unfolded gives scope for the argument that some 'unseen hands' are at work to engineer social unrest and disharmony. Much is not necessary to specify," the three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Ritu Raj Awasthi had said in the order.

BJP has spread kerosene all over the country and these sons of Abu sufyan just lit a match.

Just look at their faces, disgusting.

Assalam alaikum,

Absolutely, brother. These degenerates look like as if they have just crawled out of Nahrawan.

May Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) curse them for what they have done to all the Muslims across the country. They have practically placed us at the doorstep of an impending pogrom.

I am afraid that the worst is yet to come. Things don't look good, and I have a feeling that the government deliberately let these khawarij carry out their nefarious plans with perfect ease. They want to use it as a pretext for something very big. Also the similarity between their modus operandi and how ISIS scum operate is too much to ignore.

I just hope things get better.

By the way, how have you been? Don't see you around on the forum much these days. Hope everything is going well.

Salam all of Indian Shia community especially scholars & wise elders must officially  condemn this barbaric act by giving a public statement about diassociation from these radical groups although they must condemn insulting of prophet Muhammad (pbu)  & baning Hijab of women by anyone & anyparty by stating that both of these are  our red line which we respond to it by logic & reasoning not by doing barbaric reactions .

Many sunni leaders and politicians gave statements but that would not be enough. You cannot douse huge fire with a glass of water.

That has already been done a lot of times, brother. The Shi'a have a much better public standing among non-Muslims in India, because they are seen as a largely peaceful, educated and cultured minority. But given the bad impression that the Sunni extremists create of the religion means that many a times the Shi'a also get caught in the fray.

Hindu priest vows to burn Asaduddin Owaisi alive

Hindu preist Pram Hans Das burnt a poster of AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi in protest against the killing of Udaipur’s tailor. He said that he will burn Owaisi alive one day.

According to an AAJ Tak report, he participated in a protest held in Sirauli area of Uttar Pradesh’s Barabanki district. In his speech he attacked Owaisi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi as well. He called Owaisin an “anti-naitonal”.

After burning of the poster, the police detained him and left him outside the Barabanki district.

Tailor Kanhaiya Lal was killed on Tuesday by two men after he reportedly expressed his support on social media for Nupur Sharma, the former BJP spokesperson who has been in the limelight for her insulting remarks on Prophet Muhammad.

Unwarranted blame game

India’s unending efforts to malign Pakistan are no secret.

Quote

The government in New Delhi leaves no stone unturned to portray Pakistan as a rogue country without even bothering to look at its own track record, and as to how it is currently dealing with the fissures of communalism at home. What is happening in Udaipur and elsewhere, as Hindu fundamentalists go on a rampage, categorically signals a societal decay.

Indian insinuations linking a Pakistani group to the suspects involved in the murder of a Hindu tailor — who put social media posts in support of the BJP spokeswoman making blasphemous remarks about the Holy Prophet of Islam (peace be upon him) — seems to be a ploy to avoid backlash at home.

Quote

This is not the first time that New Delhi has tried to find a scapegoat across the border, as this reflects the BJP-RSS vendetta against the Muslims of India, as well as Pakistan. India’s policy to externalise its internal chaos by pointing fingers at regional states is worrisome, as apart from Pakistan, other countries in the neighbourhood like Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and even Maldives are off and on accused of having a bone in India. This is sensationalism at work to buoy extremist Hindu vote banks at the altar of communal harmony and, of course, regional discord.

A stock-taking of what is happening now for years in India reveals that it is the foul-mouthing of RSS-inspired extremist elements that is throwing communal peace to the wind. In doing so, these fanatics are least bothered about the sacrosanct sentiments of other religions, and it has become a fashion to ridicule Islam, in particular. This neo-Islamophobia at work in India is not out of a knee-jerk reaction but part of a detailed plot to fan violence and a sense of perpetual otherness for attaining vested political interests. The victim is the so-called secular system in India, as well as the heterogeneous population that is inching towards marginalisation.

The ruling BJP is responsible for the mess. Had its spokesperson not been spitting fire against the basic tenants of Islam, this situation would not have occurred. It is the government that is pampering extremism. The protests across the state, and in Udaipur, by Muslims were meant to condemn the inflammatory comments and they did so in a peaceful manner. The killing of a Hindu and a video going viral is hybrid warfare against Muslims of India and Pakistan. The point is that India stands cornered in the Muslim world after the recent Islamophobia media trial, and blaming Pakistan was meant for distraction.

Indian police arrest ‘masterminds’ behind execution of Hindu tailor: officials

Three senior police officials said on Saturday that two Muslim men based in the northwestern state were held for allegedly planning the tailor’s murder last week in his shop in Udaipur, a popular tourist destination dotted with lakes and palace hotels.

“We have now arrested the two masterminds and previously we had arrested two men who committed the heinous crime,” said Prafulla Kumar, a senior police official based in Udaipur.

Quote

Police in New Delhi arrested journalist Mohammed Zubair, a vocal critic of the Modi government, who had helped draw attention to Sharma’s remarks through his fact-checking website Alt News and on social media.

A senior NIA official in New Delhi said they were questioning Muslims linked with the four suspects in Udaipur to identify whether they had links with militant networks.

Quote

Muslims living about 3 kilometres from the tailor’s shop where the victim was killed said they felt nervous and feared a social and economic boycott by powerful Hindus residing in Udaipur.

“I know what has been done is barbaric but the community should not be held responsible for the deed of two people,” said Mohammad Farukh, a medical representative living in a Muslim-dominated area of the city.

The All India Muslim Personal Law Board called the incident “highly condemnable”, adding that it was against both Indian law and Islamic strictures.
