I mean there have been several attacks carried out by Muslims, or those that claim to be Muslim.  The shooting at the Navy Air Station in Pensacola by the Saudi pilot.  The shooting at a the gay night club in Orlando, the one in California by the married couple.  Then the Boston bombings were also in 2013.  I'm sure there are more.  But yes, I agree with your point.  More often than not an act carried out by a Muslim is considered terrorism, regardless of any potential mental health or other motive.  An act carried out by someone else is rarely labelled terrorism.

But is there any evidence of this happening?  Or is it all fear mongering by the media and by celebrities and organizations like Planned Parenthood?

I think what's more likely to get a woman killed is the media telling them that doctors won't save their lives if they go to the hospital.  If a patient is in need of something, the doctor will do it.  Perhaps some doctors are dumb and falling for the media sensationalism that the attorneys general are going to come after them.  But most know that if there's a legitimate reason to perform a procedure, they'll do it.

There's a very large media and pop culture movement to convince women that abortion is a good thing and something they should use as normal birth control if they just don't feel like having a baby.  Instead, they should focus on better birth control.  I get that abortion is bound to happen, but it shouldn't be a default procedure that we turn to.  It should be used sparingly for rare circumstances.

But that's just my observation and thinking.

If you're employed in the medical system in the US, you're fully aware that the type and amount of care someone is given depends on their socio-economic status, i.e. their ability to afford the care. The women who have money, and have complications in their pregnancy will not be harmed by this. The doctors will do what they need to do, and if the AG goes after them they will 'lawyer up' and the AG will back down. The harm will come to women from poor or lower middle class socio-economic backgrounds who will probably have to go to the ER to deliver, having got little or no pre natal care, a worse case scenario for the doctor since they are going in blind. As I said previously, a women from a lower socio-economic status had trouble getting adequate pre-natal care, even before the overturning of Roe, because they are most likely on Medicaid, which doesn't pay very much to the doctor so many doctors don't take these patients. Add to that the fact that the pregnancy is complicated (ectopic, etc) and I doubt she would find a doctor who would be willing to see her as a patient.

So these are the women who will suffer. Those who can't afford five star, or even three star pre natal care and can't afford to 'lawyer up' if the AG decides to go after them and their doctor. They are the 'soft targets' who will most likely be prosecuted, LIke I said before, doctors who treat these patients aren't stupid. They will give the patient what they can give them, without putting themselves at risk and following the legal advice given to them by their employer. This is already happening, based on the tweet I posted, I also have members of my family who are on the front lines in this. This is not a good situation.

My little sister carried a terminally ill baby to term and delivered. The infant died minutes after birth, as expected. My sister is glad she carried the baby to term and got to meet her before she died, but she recognizes that not everyone can mentally and emotionally endure carrying a baby that they know will die. She (my sister) is a supporter of keeping abortion legal and letting it be decided between pregnant women and their doctors.

I think that abortion is always killing a person,  but I don't think it's always wrong to kill a person. I don't think anyone besides a woman and her doctor, hopefully with input from her husband, should decide whether a woman needs an abortion or not.

But more importantly, we should ensure the easy availability of pregnancy prevention for married and unmarried women and teenage girls. And we need to protect women and girls from rape and coercive sex by severely punishing men who commit these life-scarring atrocities.

Sorry for the late bump.

But yes, I think this is key here. I think there's a push from the far left to make abortion available as almost first line birth control.  People don't need to worry about condoms, or pills, or IUDs, just get an abortion.  The reality is that abortion should be a last resort when everything else fails.  The problem is that as the right pushes hard against abortion, the left pushes hard back to make it more mainstream.

Not quite.  Most Medicaid patients actually get decent prenatal care if they seek it out.  Of course this is highly location dependent.  You are correct that many doctors don't take medicaid, but medicaid patients actually get money for food, prenatal vitamins, and quite a bit of social support from the state.

Ectopics are medical emergencies and any doctor that refuses to see an ectopic would likely lose their license under EMTALA.

In terms of abortion in the context of American politics, here's what I think:

The majority of "regular" Conservatives are good people with good moral and ethical values. They align far better with Islam than the "Woke" Far-Left who just want to indoctrinate our children and the next generation that there are fairies and pixies and that there are 3,000 genders. Lots of Christians wait until marriage. Most Muslims *should* wait until marriage, but they don't, because they want to copy the fornicators and adulterers.

They should have thought about that before they decided to have children. If you are poor, then you need to get a degree and work hard in life in order to have children. If you don’t have money and can’t afford to have kids, then don’t have them. Plain and simple.

The reality, in my opinion, is that most people have mental health issues because they don’t clean their environments. They don’t know how to cook healthy meals for their families, they don’t know how to clean, they don’t know how to decorate their house all pretty. They just want to dress like a homeless person all the time.

For instance, my ex-husband refused to change. In my family, we all dress well for family occasions and he refused to change for my family. He was a total loser. I thought that by marrying him, he would change for my family after seeing a luxurious life. But instead, he chose to stay like a homeless person. I gave him six years to change and he said “no.”

Doctors are not always right about everything.

I know plenty of doctors who wanted to abort healthy babies because they *thought* there was something wrong with the baby in the womb. What are they going to answer on the Day of Judgement?
