Yes it is possible that the videos could be fake, mostly it is if they try to give bad image about Sistani and his followers. Iraq is already very mess where people literally do evil things openly.

What's weird is how a small group can have a Friday mosque on their own, with all the country being managed by major institutions.

They're relatively small but still a sizeable group, certainly a good few thousand of them.

Lel, this is exactly the same as Muawiya (la) asking his men to lift the Quran on spears in Siffin, and the killers of Uthman raising a hue and cry about his murder, blaming Ameer al-Mu'mineen (عليه السلام) for it while their own arms were dyed in his blood, elbow-deep. I have no doubt that it is his own doing.

So after being a ba'athi shill (I am strongly tempted to use an expletive that begins with 'p' here) in his college days, publicly showing his support to ISIS and asking his 'followers' to take up arms against the government in 2014, his 'representatives' calling for the razing of the shrines in Najaf, Karbala, Kadhimayn and Samarra, this guy's version is still to be believed! When they can call for razing the resting places of the Ahlul Bayt (ams), burning a few copies of the Quran to pose as victims is certainly not beyond them.

Literally one of the worst people to have walked the earth. He is going to outdo Ziyad ibn Abihi (la) and Shalmaghani (la) very soon.

May Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) guide him if he is worthy of any guidance, or give him what is due to him.

Internal country politics. Nothing to do with Shia's at large.

Whenever the Politics becomes a mean to an end they will exploit religious lines. This is the second country this is starting to take root.

Islam includes politics not as a weapon for exploitation.

There will be foreign funding, there will be "charged" and "controversial " issues exploited to gain center stage by non entities to become prominent.

Shia have been neutered and some have bought the superficial puritan ideology. Now its prime time that Superficial Puritanism experiment will be repeated as it was a success in Hijaz.

Shia will loose faith in leadership if the politics entrenched in religious rulings.

Salam I completely  disagree because  extremism  has no relation  about connection  of politics with religious  rulings which so called "the superficial puritan ideology" or  "Superficial Puritanism experiment" is promoting  separation  politics from religious rulings which clearly Amir Al Muminin has entrenched true  & moral & right  form of politics with religious  rulings but on the other hand cursed Muawiah (la) has entrenched deception & tricking  under guise  of politics with religious  rulings which he (la) has been first person in history of Islam which separated politics from rulings which his cursed successors  have promoted Sufism which has been total separation  of politics  from rulings also they have created  Mufti status which  has been followed  by Abbasids  which now cursed Saudi monarchy is inheritor of their policy which supports  most babaric  deviation which is mixed with separation  politics  from rulings.

By Allah, 1 Mu’awiyah is not more cunning than I am, but he deceives and commits evil deeds. Had it not been for the reprehensibility of deceit, I would have been the most cunning of all men. But (the fact is that) every deceit is a sin and every sin is disobedience (of Allah), and every deceitful person will have a banner by which he will be recognised on the Day of Judgement. By Allah, I cannot be made forgetful by strategy, nor can I be overpowered by hardships.

"The right policy is three policies: gentleness(softness) with caution, curiosity with justice and forgiveness with moderation."

Quote

Imam Ali (عليه السلام) believes that the criterion of ruling is justice. Justice is the strongest foundation that must exist in any social system. Imam Ali (عليه السلام) considers the best kind of politics and government to be based on justice and says: "The right policy is three policies: gentleness(softness) with caution, curiosity with justice and forgiveness with moderation."

The policy of Amir al-Mu'minin Ali (عليه السلام) was based on the standards of Islam and the Qur'an, and he never deviated from the standards of Islam and did not disobey any of the rules of Islam. Throughout his rulership, He kept in mind the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Messenger, and in no work did they use personal tastes that were contrary to the Book of God and His Messenger.

Undoubtedly, Imam Ali (عليه السلام) was aware of the methods and tools that would perpetuate his rulership and of all the tricks that would strengthen the foundations of his rule; But what prevented him from using trickery in politics was religion and piety. Imam Ali (عليه السلام) saw success and victory in contentment, God's pleasure and the implementation of truth and justice; Not in the rule of a few days over the people; Because they did not want the world, nor did he want to rule over it.

O people! Surely loyalty (fulfilment of pledge) and truthfulness are twins. I do not know a better shield (against the assaults of sin) than it. One who realises the reality of return (to the next world) never betrays. We are in a period when most of the people regard betrayal as wisdom. In these days the ignorants call it excellence of cunning. What is the matter with them? Allah may destroy them.

Deception is immorality, and such immorality is blasphemy, and I know that every deception will be gathered on the Day of Resurrection, while it has a flag.

The Iraqi people, and especially the population of Kufa, were made up of different groups with different cultures, and the policies of the time of Uthman had drawn them to the splendor of the world, and the false tradition of that time (unreasonable distribution of the treasury to these people). It had become an ugly habit for them and many tribal leaders were waiting for political rights and accounts and bribes, and for this reason, Mu'awiyah bought many tribal leaders and Iraqi personalities with large sums of money and one after another to He joined while the people of Syria were relatively far from this corrupt and dangerous wave.
In addition, the spirits of the Iraqi people and the Levant were different. The shaamans were more practical, while the Iraqis were more talkative. The Syrians were more receptive to social discipline, while the Iraqis were less disciplined.
The spirit of loyalty was greater in the Shaamians, while disloyalty  and breaching of covenant were the hallmarks of the Iraqi people, especially Kufa.
Of course, this statement does not include the people of Iraq in our time and age, or even in the era and times after Ali (عليه السلام) and Imam Hassan(عليه السلام) and Imam Hussein (عليه السلام), and for this reason, there is considerable praise in the narrations of the infallibles. It can be seen from the people of Iraq and Kufa, and there is no obstacle for the people of one border and region, in one period of their history, to have negative attributes, and in another era, to have positive attributes. Glimpses of Nahjul-Balagha

Murtadha Mutahhari

The Importance Of Politics
The first thing which must be examined is the significance and value attached to the issue of government and justice by Nahjul-Balagha. Indeed, what is essentially the importance of these problems in Islam? A thorough discussion of this question is obviously outside the scope of this book, but by way of a casual reference, however, it seems inevitable to lightly touch upon.

The Holy Qur’an, in the verse where it commands the Prophet (S) to inform the people that Ali (عليه السلام) would succeed him as the leader of the Muslims and the Prophet’s khalifah, declares the following with extraordinary insistence:......

Quote

There is one hadith wherein the Prophet (S) said, “If (as few as) three persons go on a journey, they must appoint one from among themselves as their leader. From this, one may infer to what extent the Prophet (S) regarded as harmful the disorder and absence of authority that could resolve social conflicts and serve as a unifying bond among individuals.

Nahjul-Balagha deals with numerous problems concerning the State and social justice, a few of which, Allah willing, we shall discuss here.

Nahjul-Balagha deals with numerous problems concerning the State and social justice, a few of which, Allah willing, we shall discuss here.

The slogan of the Kharijites, as is known, was: “The right of judgement (or authority to rule) belongs exclusively to Allah (la hukm illa li-Allah), a phrase adopted from the Holy Qur’an. Its Qur’anic meaning is that the prerogative of legislation belongs to Allah or those whom Allah has permitted to legislate.”But the Kharijites interpreted it differently.

According to Ali (عليه السلام), they had imparted a false sense to a true statement. The essence of their view was that no human being has any right to rule others; sovereignty belongs exclusively to Allah. Ali’s argument was:

Yes, I also say la hukm illa li-Allah, in the sense that the right of legislation belongs solely to Allah. But their claim that the prerogative to govern and to lead also belongs to Allah is not reasonable. After all, the laws of Allah need to be implemented by human beings. Men cannot do without a ruler, good or evil.1

Quote

He says the following further regarding this issue:

“But the most important of the reciprocal rights that Allah has made obligatory is the right of the ruler over the subjects and the rights of the subjects over the ruler. It is a mutual and reciprocal obligation decreed by Allah for them. He has made it the basis of the strength of their society and of their religion.

Consequently, the subjects cannot prosper unless the rulers are righteous. The rulers cannot be righteous unless the subjects are firm and steadfast. If the subjects fulfil their duties toward the ruler and the ruler his duty to them, righteousness prevails among them. Only then are the objectives of the religion realized, the pillars of justice become stable and wholesome traditions become established. In this way, better conditions of life and social environment emerge. People become eager to safeguard the integrity of the State and thus frustrate the plots of its enemies”(Khutab 126).

Justice: “Supreme Value”

The first outcome of the sacred teachings of Islam was the influence exercised on the minds and ideologies of its adherents. Not only did Islam introduce new teachings regarding the world, man and his society, but also changed the ways of thinking. The importance of the latter achievement is not less than the former.

Sheikh Ali Al-Sakban, the head of the Al-Sarkheh tribe, pledged allegiance to Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Hosseini Sistani on behalf of all the children of the tribe.

According to Shiite News, Sheikh Ali al-Sakban, the head of the Al-Sarkhi tribe and the heads of  of  Al-Barjas, Al-Sawaieh and Al-Labibat tribes, pledged allegiance to Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Hosseini Sistani on behalf of all the children of the tribe.

This tribe mentioned the following:

First: The tribe of Al-Sarkhi is one of the branches of the Al-Fadhul tribe from Bani Laam, and we have an official writing from Sheikh Ghazban Al-Baniya, the senior Sheikh of Bani Lam.

Second: We are from the common people and we are not from Sadat and the children of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him and his progeny).

Third: We emphasize that we expelled Mahmoud al-Sarkhi from the tribe in 1999 due to immorality and moral problems.

Fourth: Mahmoud al-Sarkhi was a Ba'athist and, in addition to working as a security representative during the reign of Ibrahim al-Hassan al-Sabawi, wrote party reports.

Fifth: Sabawi some security representatives; For example, he sent Mahmoud al-Sarkhi from the south of Iraq, with the aim of spying and writing a report, to study in the seminary, so that he could turn to a new program after the failure of all the programs of the intelligence service.

Sixth: Because the representatives of Sabawi were not trusted by anyone, the seminary and its head, Ayatollah Sistani, did not accept them, and their plan to strike at the seminary has been failed.

It keeps getting more and more entertaining by the day!
