Incorrect purification method?

Salam Alaykum, inshallah you're well.

It's me once again, the OCD brother with another question aha.

All jokes aside, I'll get straight to the point. If I entered a state of janabah, and then touched say for example the toilet flush, or the bathroom tap, is it sufficient that I pour water over the the tap and the flush twice, will that suffice for purification?

The reason I say I have an OCD is because I'm a very doubtful person, it truly is ruining me. Because the issue I'm having is, though the nasajah was definitely on one hand, I'm not 100% if it was transferred to the other hand on the account of flowing wetness. I can't 100% say I touched the najis hand with the clean hand, thus transferring the najasah to the tap via the clean (but now najis) hand. Or if I did, I'm almost uncertain that there was no flowing wetness which would've transferred the najasah to the other hand.

Am I suppose to ignore that? Because I've given ghusl twice in a row thinking I've not cleaned it properly, and only after cleaning it twice with water, I was satisfied.

But now I'm doubtful again whether two times were sufficient or if I was suppose to do it thrice as I was reading for utensils and their likes, three times is an obligatory precaution.

This isn't a utensil, but I guess since it's made of steel or metal, whatever. The same ruling might apply?

I'm sorry if I've confused anyone, but i feel so dirty right now because I honestly don't know what to do, infact everything I've touched even after washing the taps and the flush with water, I still feel everything else I'm touching is transferring the najasah.

Please help,

I'm truly in dire need..

Salam alaykum

Salam, your body does not become najis when you enter into a state of janabah. You can touch anything and it would stay tahir.

Waalaykum asalam, thank you for your reply.

what about in my case as I can't be a hundred percent sure whether the najasah transferred to my other hand or not as a result of it brushing against the najis hand?

If you are not 100% sure it is ruled as tahir. For something to be najis you have to be 100% sure of it.

Some scholars say that you need to know and be 100% sure that something has become najis in order to consider it as najis while some other scholars, like Al-Sayyid Al-Sistani, say that if a person has confidence (itmi'nan) that something has become impure due to rational reasons then it is impure. For example, if there is a 98% or 99% probability of something being impure, then a person would have itmi'nan that it is impure, and thus it would be impure according to Al-Sayyid Al-Sistani.

Salam certainly you must ignor it because just first Ghusl has been enough for purifying .

Anything which you have touched or you are touching is clean & Tahir.
