I know during the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khomeni ordered Blacks and Women freed first. Does Iran support womens groups like they suport minorites like Black Americans?

Do they speak out for women in americaa and count them as oppressed too still?

Salam all of women have not been released which two American  women who couldn't  refute their spying  have remained  between hostages in a seperate room from men which they have been released at end of hostage crisis  which one of women has written her memoirs in a book  about their long time of staying in detention which in her book she has portayed herself as a an American Christian heroine which until her release she has described  Iranians  especially  women as gulible people  which she has been taughting them about modernization  & freedom & feminism & Christanity as a  Christian  American heroine.

Ayatollah RuhoIlah Khomeini, explaining that Islam respects women and that he considers American blacks to be oppressed, had ordered that all blacks and women among the 62 hostages “whose spying was not proven” should be released.

Quote

Those still held inside the slogan‐swathed embassy compound were identified by the released hostages as Elizabeth Ann Swift, the embassy's political officer; Kathryn L. Koob, an International Communications Agency officer who was head of the Iran‐American Society here, and Charles Jones, a communications officer.

:salam:

It was rather a smart move, showing that Iran deals directly men to men with the head of state and do not hold women responsible for the evil policies of the oppressor.

Same thing with black people.

Salam I have not find any information about them so therefore I guess that they have remained in Iran until all hostages have been released .

Dear students, blacks and women whose spying is not known, hand them over to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who will expel them immediately from Iran. The honorable nation of Iran does not allow the freedom of others. Therefore, others are in detention, so that the American government can act on the will of the nation. And peace be upon you.

As brother @Ashvazdanghesaid.

In 1979 there were no feminists or Blacks in power, USA was ruled by WASP.

The move also aimed at reaching out to the third world and show Islam had a sense of mercy.

So yes, in a time where Netflix, Hillary and BET was not in fashion, that was a smart move.
