Salam, Brother @.InshAllah.. Thank you for posting that discussion by Sayyid Ali, may Allah strengthen his hand in all his Islamic endeavors.

As for Sheikh Arif, who I don't know but it seems that he is a reformist, my unsolicited advice is to read the books and understand them.

It is actually more than discussing about Ziarat, rather it show how many of these modernist group  trying to modernize rationally Islam actually fail to do so for many reason he mention them. It is actually very good discussion to show all of us that we really should be very careful about these subject not to give opinion when we mostly lack basic knowledge about them. I thank Sayyid Ali and may God bless him for his hard work.

Sahih International: O you who have believed, do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet or be loud to him in speech like the loudness of some of you to others, lest your deeds become worthless while you perceive not.
