Someone said to me today

"Time is empty - it is our responsibility to fill it."

What do you think?

Sure. That's a nice way to encourage someone with little to do to make better use of their time.

My time is far from empty. I struggle to prioritize, organize, and optimize the many things that fill it.

It always seems tragic to me to hear people talk about "killing time".

But in a way each day streatches before us empty waiting to be filled.  Yes I too have lots of responsibilities and need to set priorities.  Maybe the question is our attitue to the things we do.  I read this through provoking challage from Paul to Timothy in the Injil.  1 Timothy chapter 6:11 But you, man of God, pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.

Another thing about time is recognizing the good things God does for us.  Again the Injil challenes us to Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Philippians 4:4

I painted this picture as a response to that verse.

50 - Philippians 4;4 - Rejoice always small.jpg
