Interesting reading of Karbala

Dude seems to think that it was only because they had tragic deaths that the people he refers to led to the creation of a doctrine or belief. He overlooks the idea that a tragic death, is by definition, when one sacrifices life in order to protect something valuable.

The worldly people will never recognize the spiritual aspects of the Karbala battle and subsequent massacre.

To them it was all just political wrangling resulting in a martyr who then become lionized.

The battle between the forces of nobility, honour, bravery,  courage, spirituality, altruism, self sacrifice vs the forces of servitude,  cowardice, dishonor, ignominy, turpitude, materialism, craveness, impiety and blasphemy.

Can someone explain what makes a wahabi bad that everyone hates them

These and Salafis , like other schisms ( eg Ahmadiya, Babism)  in Islam, were funded, nurtured , and propagated by the empire most threatened by Islam and Unity between Muslims. This was their classic divide and rule strategy.

Ibn wahab was first attracted to Shiaism, and went to Basra and Iraq to learn more. There he was tricked into mutah by a British spy, and beacuse of his feelings of guilt ( egged on by the Arabic looking and  speaking Hempher) turned him into a rabid anti Shia.

The rest is history as they say. But his movement resulted in demolition of many Tombs of the AhlulBayt and other awliya types,  massacres in the pilgrimage cities and in Jazirah tul Arab.

Also they re introduced thru writings on Ibn Kathir and Ibn Tamiya, a mutated version of the religion rooted in the Takfiri movement and massacres of many innocent sunnis and shias. This new mutant viral Islam,  introduced a Allah Who is given human characteristics ( nauzobillah) , a prophet who is a human who makes mistakes ( nauzobillah) and even does terrible things ( again astaghfarillah), and a degradation of the AhlulBayt and their elevated position.

The shaikhan  ( then allied with the other British creation...ibn Saud) to try to break the ottoman empire for access to oil and other  wealth,  first coming online in the 1800s.

Always this same old argument blaming some kufans who betrayed Imam Husain (عليه السلام). These wahhabis have very hard to understand that those who betrayed Imam Husain (عليه السلام) are not called as his Shias. The shias of the Imam Husain (عليه السلام) are exactly the same those who sacrificed themselves in Karbala. It is those  who we are expressing our grief to.

Do you call those who formed khawarij as shias of Imam Ali (عليه السلام)?

Halloween in Saudi

It really shows that wahhabism is dead or dying. In the narrations Medinah will be in ruins and this is first step to allow such a thing to happen. A corrupted family who goes ageinst the Islamic values and will totally corrupt the holy lands and submit to the will of Israel.

Does this mean more acceptance for Shias as well?

Salam clearly no because Wahabism considers  Jews as people of book but on the other hand it considres Shias as followers of Shaitan who are much worse than Jews & Christians.

Now going completely in the opposite direction

They're desperate for money. They're changing their so-called 'Kingdom' into a tourist spot (I'm referring to the entire country). The money they get from Hajj and Umrah isn't enough anymore. There's plans of opening a Dragon Ball themed park, which the world is laughing at and crying too, because they were expecting it in the US or Japan.

Does sound desperate. Dbz in desert is like 1001 nights on ice. It would have been better to charter a league for sand sports and resorts.

It will be some time before my Hajj. Last I saw men and women pushing each other roughly for water bottles and opportunities to catch a view with selfish sticks...not an experience I want tainted by tourism.
