Salam Alaykum everyone,

I would like to hear more opinions on this matter regarding marriage. Now we all know that marriage is something very important and the Prophet SAWAS said marrying when one is young is recommended and sunnah etc...

Now, sometimes marriage can be hard, financially in this Western Society. My request is for opinions on if it would be better to do a mut'ah marriage with an Ahlul Kitab woman until that person (male in this case) reaches a state of financially stable?

For example, one could be 20 years old, still in University, living with his parents, etc. Lets say he does a mut'ah with a good woman from among the ahlulkitab, similar age, for 3 years lets say. They could have 2 options, for the female to convert or they can end it as agreed for their mut'ah date. And then once these 3 years are ended, that man could be financially more stable for a nikah marriage.

Do you guys and gals think this is better than just waiting out the 3 years?

try for the permanent nikkah even if you are financially unstable before you consider mutah with ahle kitab

and if you go through with the mutah then be prepared for the slim chance of raising a child with her

it's self harm to ones psych to not utilize mutah in the western world.

Actually to live in the western world where there is so much temptation is itself self harm to ones psych. A Muslim should ideally live in a muslim land where the chances of getting frustrated because of lack of marriage are less than the western world.
