B.  The Amir Over ‘Isa B. Maryam

The Masih, ‘(عليه السلام), obviously, is a member of our Ummah, under the Shari’ah of Muhammad b. ‘Abd Allah, (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم).

1. This is explicitly indicated in this chapter-heading by Imam Muslim (d. 261 H):

باب نزول عيسى بن مريم حاكما بشريعة نبينا محمد صلى الله عليه و سلم

Chapter on the Descent of ‘Isa b. Maryam to Judge with the Shari’ah of our Prophet Muhammad, Peace Be Upon Him.

2. Imam al-Bukhari (d. 256 H) also records this hadith:

حدثنا إسحاق أخبرنا يعقوب بن إبراهيم حدثنا أبي عن صالح عن ابن شهاب أن سعيد بن المسيب سمع أبا هريرة رضي الله عنه قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم والذي نفسي بيده ليوشكن أن ينزل فيكم ابن مريم حكما عدلا

Ishaq – Ya’qub b. Ibrahim – my father – Salih – Ibn Shihab – Sa’id b. al-Musayyab – Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him:

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: “I swear by Him in Whose Hand my life is, surely the son of Maryam will soon descend amongst you as a just judge.”

3. Explaining this riwayat, al-Hafiz (d. 852 H) states:

والمعنى أنه ينزل حاكما بهذه الشريعة فان هذه الشريعة باقية لا تنسخ بل يكون عيسى حاكما من حكام هذه الأمة

The meaning is that he will descend to judge with this Shari’ah, for this Shari’ah is eternal. It will never be abrogated. In fact, ‘Isa will be one of the judges of this Ummah.

Meanwhile, it is an undisputable fact that whosoever follows the Shari’ah of Muhammad is from his Ummah. This clearly is why al-Hafiz has proceeded to give him an entry in his book on the biographies of the Sahabah:

‘Isa the Masih b. Maryam the Siddiqah bint ‘Imran b. Mahan b. al-Ghar, the messenger of Allah and His Word which He said to Maryam.

Al-Dhahabi mentioned him in al-Tajrid, supporting those before him, and said: “‘Isa b. Maryam, the messenger of Allah. He saw the Prophet, peace be upon him, on the night of al-Isra and said salam to him. Therefore, he is a prophet AND A SAHABI; and he will be the last of the Sahabah to die.”

Al-Qadhi Taj al-Din al-Subki indirectly referred to him in his poem at the end of his al-Qawaid, and said: “He, who by consensus of all creatures, is better than the best of the Sahabah, Abu Bakr; and he is better than ‘Umar, ‘Ali and ‘Uthman. He is a young man from the Ummah of the Chosen Mustafa from Mudhar.”

4. Imam al-Dhahabi (d. 748 H) further says in his Siyar:

ولم يسم الله تعالى في كتابه صحابيا باسمه إلا زيد بن حارثة وعيسى بن مريم عليه السلام الذي ينزل حكما مقسطا

Allah the Most High has not mentioned in His Book any Sahabi by name except Zayd b. Harithah and ‘Isa b. Maryam, ‘(عليه السلام), who will descend as a just judge.

Basically, ‘Isa b. Maryam is the best of the Sahabah – by Sunni reckoning – and not Abu Bakr (contrary to the popular Sunni myth). He will follow and enforce the Shari’ah of Muhammad, and will be the last of the Sahabah to die. Since the advent of our Prophet, the Masih became a member of our Ummah, and will die as one of our own.

Interestingly, after ‘Isa’s descent, he will not be the supreme leader of the Ummah. Of course, he will be a judge who will enforce our Shari’ah. However, he will, in doing that, be taking orders from a higher authority, the khalifah of his time.

5. Imam al-Bukhari records:

Ibn Bukayr – al-Layth – Yunus – Ibn Shihab – Nafi’, freed slave of Abu Qatadah al-Ansari – Abu Hurayrah:

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: “How will you be when the son of Maryam descends amongst you while your Imam will be from you?”

Dr. al-Bastawi interprets that in this manner:

" فإمامكم منكم " أي أن الإمام يكون غير عيسى، رجل من أمة محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم.

while your Imam will be from you”, that is: the Imam will NOT be ‘Isa, he will be a man from the Ummah of Muhammad, peace be upon him.

Of course, ‘Isa too is from this Ummah. However, he is a naturalized member while the Imam will be someone born into it. Well, by divine decree, only people from the Arab tribe of Quraysh can be khalifahs; and this rule will never change till the Hour.

6. Imam Ibn Abi ‘Asim (d. 287 H) confirms:

Abu Salih Hudbah b. ‘Abd al-Wahhab – al-Nadhr b. Shumayl – Shu’bah – Habib b. al-Zubayr – ‘Abd Allah b. Abi al-Hudhayl:

We were sitting with ‘Amr b. al-‘As, discussing al-fiqh. Then, a man from Bakr, said, “If Quraysh do not desist, Allah will place this affair in another group among Arabs.” So, ‘Amr b. al-‘As replied, “You lied! I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, saying: ‘The khilafah is in Quraysh till the establishment of the Hour.’”

And ‘Allamah al-Albani (d. 1420 H) says: إسناده جيد Its chain is good.

7. Imam Abu Ya’la (d. 307 H) also records:

حدثنا الحسن بن إسماعيل أبو سعيد بالبصرة حدثنا إبراهيم بن سعد عن أبيه عن أنس رضي الله عنه قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم : الأئمة من قريش

Al-Hasan b. Isma’il Abu Sa’id – Ibrahim b. Sa’d – his father – Anas, may Allah be pleased with him:

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: “The Imams are from Quraysh.”

Shaykh Dr. Asad says: إسناده صحيح Its chain is sahih

Since the Masih is an Israilite, he is automatically disqualified from running the khilafah. He can only pledge allegiance to and take orders from a supreme royal ruler from Quraysh.

8.  Imam al-Nasai (d. 303 H) records:

Ibrahim b. Muhammad al-Taymi – Yahya b. Sa’id – Shu’bah – Isma’il b. Raja – Aws b. Dham’aj – Abu Mas’ud:

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: “No one can lead a man in salat in his place of authority, and no one can sit in his place of honour except with his permission.”

And al-Albani declares:  صحيح Sahih

Knowing this, the then amir of the believers will nonetheless offer leadership of the salat to ‘Isa b. Maryam. If the Masih accepts it and leads the amir, then he (the Masih) confirms himself as the overall master of the Ummah. However, if he rejects it, in that case he submits to the authority and leadership of the khalifah.

9. Imam Muslim here presents how this will be resolved:

Al-Walid b. Shuja’, Harun b. ‘Abd Allah and Hajjaj b. al-Sha’ir – Hajjaj b. Muhammad – Ibn Jurayj – Abu al-Zubayr – Jabir b. ‘Abd Allah:

I heard the Prophet, peace be upon him, saying: “There will never cease to be a group within my Ummah who will be fighting upon the Truth, victorious till the Day of al-Qiyamah. Then, ‘Isa b. Maryam, sallallahu ‘alaihi wa salam, will descend, and their amir will say, ‘Come and lead us in salat.’ But, he (‘Isa) will reply, ‘No. Verily, some of you are the amirs of the others. This is the honour of Allah to this Ummah.’”

The Masih rejects the offer and performs salat behind the amir. Al-Albani records that the Prophet said:

منا الذي يصلي عيسى بن مريم خلفه

The one behind whom ‘Isa b. Maryam will perform salat is from us.

Then, he comments: فالحديث عندي صحيح The hadith, in my view, is sahih

Therefore, the authority of the khalifah over Prophet ‘Isa is perfectly established. No one can lead a man in salat in his place of authority; and the son of Maryam will be led. As such, he will not be the one in overall authority over the Ummah.

10.  Who then will this amir be, who will give commands to ‘Isa?

Dr. al-Bastawi has copied a hadith which identifies for us the Imam of the Ummah during ‘Isa’s Second Coming:

عن جابر قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم :ينزل عيسى بن مريم فيقول أميرهم المهدي: تعال صل بنا. فيقول: لا، إن بعضهم أمير بعض. تكرمة الله لهذه الأمة .

Narrated Jabir:

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: “‘Isa b. Maryam will descend and their amir, the Mahdi will say, ‘Come and lead us in salat.’ But, he will reply, ‘No. Verily, some of them are the amirs over others. It is the honour of Allah to this Ummah.’”

After quoting its sources and extensively examining its narrators, he concludes:

إسناده صحيح. Its chain is sahih

He also documents:

Ibn Sirrin said: “The Mahdi is from this Ummah, and he will be the Imam of ‘Isa b. Maryam.”

And he has this verdict on it: إسناده صحيح.

Its chain is sahih. Its narrators are trustworthy.

So, he will be the Mahdi, ‘alaihi al-salam. He will be the amir and Imam of the Ummah, before and after Prophet ‘Isa joins it. This fact reveals that the coming out of the Mahdi will occur during the very last part of life on earth, as ‘Isa will come at that time. Something to note also is that the Mahdi will actually rule the last section of our Ummah,

11. Imam al-Hakim (d. 403 H) documents:

Abu al-‘Abbas Muhammad b. Ahmad al-Mahbubi – Sa’id b. Mas’ud – al-Nadhr b. Shumayl – Sulayman b. ‘Ubayd – Abu al-Siddiq al-Naji – Abu Sa’id al-Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him:

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, “The Mahdi will come out at the END of my Ummah. Allah will provide rain to him, and the earth will bring out its vegetation, and he will give wealth correctly. Livestock will become abundant and the Ummah will become great. He will witness seven or eight Hajjs.

This hadith has a sahih chain

Imam al-Dhahabi (d. 748 H) agrees:  صحيح Sahih

Al-Albani also says about the hadith in his Sahihah:

قلت: وهذا سند صحيح , I say: This chain is sahih

Dr. al-Bastawi has the same verdict on it:  إسناده صحيح. Its chain is sahih.

C.  Imam Mahdi Is The Khalifah Of Allah

1. Imam Ibn al-‘Athir (d. 606 H), an ace Sunni lexicographer, opens this chapter:

الخليفة من يقوم مقام الذاهب ويسد مسده

The khalifah is whoever stands in the position of the one who is physically absent and substitutes for him.

The absence may be due to a variety of reasons – such as travel, seclusion, death and others. As such, when Prophet Musa, ‘(عليه السلام), was leaving his Ummah temporarily for some days, he appointed a khalifah:

وقال موسى لأخيه هارون اخلفني في قومي

Musa said to his brother, Harun: “Be my khalifah over my people.”

Shaykh Ibn Taymiyyah (d. 728 H) also informs us:

فمن المعلوم انه كان لا يخرج من المدينة حتى يستخلف

It is well-known that he (the Prophet) never left Madinah without appointing a khalifah over it.

And Allah gives His kingdom to whoever He wishes.

Whoever He appoints to run His kingdom on His earth is called His khalifah. Prophet Adam, ‘(عليه السلام), was the first of such people:

وإذ قال ربك للملائكة إني جاعل في الأرض خليفة

And when your Lord said to the angels, “I will appoint in the earth a khalifah.”

Imam al-Mawardi (d. 450 H) states under this verse:

والثالث : أنه أراد : جاعل في الأرض خليفةً يخلفني في الحكم بين خلقي ، وهو آدم ، ومن قام مقامه من ولده ، وهذا قول ابن مسعود.

The third opinion: is that He intended “I will appoint in the earth a khalifah WHO WILL SUBSTITUTE FOR ME in giving judgments among My creatures, and he is Adam and whoever stands in his position among his offspring”. This was the opinion of Ibn Mas’ud.

3. Imam al-Baydhawi (d. 685 H)also submits:

والخليفة من يخلف غيره وينوب منابه والهاء فيه للمبالغة والمراد به آدم عليه الصلاة والسلام لأنه كان خليفة الله في أرضه وكذلك كل نبي استخلفهم الله في عمارة الأرض وسياسة الناس وتكميل نفوسهم وتنفيذ أمره فيهم لا لحاجة به تعالى إلى من ينوبه بل لقصور المستخلف عليه عن قبول فيضه وتلقي أمره بغير وسط

The khalifah is he who substitutes for another and deputizes for him. The ha in it (i.e. the word khalifah) is only for emphasis. The one intended with it is Adam, peace and blessings be upon him, for he was the khalifah of Allah in His earth, and so were all prophets.

4. Imam al-Sharbini (d. 968 H) has the same words as above, almost verbatim, in his Tafsir. Imam al-Nasafi (d. 710 H) agrees with them:

آدم كان خليفة الله في أرضه وكذلك كل نبي، قال الله تعالى : { يا داوود إنا جعلناك خليفة في الأرض } (ص : 26)

Adam was the khalifah of Allah in His earth, and so were all prophets. Allah the Most High says: {O Dawud! We have appointed you a khalifah in the earth} [38:26]11

Imam al-Baghwi (d. 516 H) affirms this too:

والمراد بالخليفة هاهنا آدم سماه خليفة لأنه خلف الجن أي جاء بعدهم وقيل لأنه يخلفه غيره والصحيح أنه خليفة الله في أرضه لإقامة أحكامه وتنفيذ وصاياه

The one intended with the word “khalifah” here (in the verse) is Adam. He was named a khalifah because (according to one opinion) he succeeded the jinns, that is he came after them. It is also said (in another opinion) that it was because he substituted for another. THE CORRECT OPINION is that he was the khalifah of Allah on His earth for the establishment of His Verdicts and the implementation of His Decrees.

5. Imam Ibn al-Jawzi (d. 597 H) says also:

أحدهما انه خليفة عن الله تعالى في إقامة شرعه ودلائل توحيده والحكم في خلقه وهذا قول ابن مسعود و مجاهد

One of both (opinions) is that he was a khalifah of Allah the Most High in the establishment of His Laws and the proofs of His Oneness and the government of His creatures. This was the opinion of Ibn Mas’ud and Mujahid.

Imam al-Zuhayli has this exegesis of the verse, as well:

اذكر أيها النّبي لقومك قصة خلق أبيهم آدم، حين قال اللّه للملائكة: إني متخذ في الأرض خليفة، يقوم بعمارتها وسكناها، وينفذ أحكامي فيها بين الناس

Mention, O Prophet, to your people the story of the creation of their father Adam, when Allah said to the angels, “I will appoint in the earth a khalifah who will uphold its structure and its residence and will implement my Laws in it among the people.”

6. And, al-Mahalli (d. 864 H) and al-Suyuṭi (d. 911 H) in their Tafsir al-Jalalayn, cap everything:

{و} اذكر يا محمد {إذ قال ربك للملائكة إني جاعل في الأرض خليفة} يخلفني في تنفيذ أحكامي فيها وهو آدم

{And} remember, O Muhammad {when your Lord said to the angels: I will appoint in the earth a khalifah} who will substitute for Me in the implementation of My Laws in it, and he is Adam.

Prophet Muhammad is the supreme khalifah of Allah in our Ummah. However, there are others too besides him among us, non-prophets like us, who are his successors in the khilafah. He has specifically named Imam al-Mahdi as one of these khulafa of our Lord in our blessed Ummah. Imam al-Bazzar (d. 292 H) records:

Ahmad b. Mansur – ‘Abd al-Razzaq – al-Thawri – Khalid al-Hadha – Abu Qilabah – Abu Asma – Thawban, radhiyallahu ‘anhu:

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, “Near this treasure of yours, three people will kill one another. Each of them is a son of a khalifah. But it will not reach any of them. Then the black flags will come from the East, and they will kill you in a way that no nation had ever done been killed.” Then he mentioned something (and said): “When you see him, pledge allegiance to him, even if you have to crawl on snow, for verily he is the khalifah of Allah, the Mahdi.

Al-Bazzar himself comments:

We have selected this hadith (for our book) due to its authenticity and the greatness of Thawban, and its chain is a sahih chain.

7. Imam al-Hakim (d. 403 H) also records:

Abu ‘Abd Allah al-Saffar – Muhammad b. Ibrahim b. Urumah – al-Husayn b. Hafs - Sufyan – Khalid al-Hadha – Abu Qilabah – Abu Asma – Thawban, radhiyallahu ‘anhu:

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, “Near your treasure, three people will kill one another. Each of them will be a son of a khalifah. But it will not get to any of them. Then the black flags will come from the East, and they will fight you in a way that no nation had ever been fought.” Then he mentioned something and he [the Prophet] said: “When you see him, pledge allegiance to him, even if you have to crawl on snow, for verily he is the khalifah of Allah, the Mahdi.”

Al-Hakim declares:

This hadith is sahih upon the standard of the two Shaykhs.

And Imam al-Dhahabi (d. 748 H) agrees:

على شرط البخاري ومسلم

Upon the standard of al-Bukhari and Muslim.

8.  Al-Hafiz Ibn Kathir (d. 774 H) further documents:

Ibn Majah – Muhammad b. Yahya (al-Dhahli) and Ahmad b. Yusuf – ‘Abd al-Razzaq – Sufyan al-Thawri – Khalid al-Hadha – Abu Qilabah – Abu Asma al-Rahbi – Thawban:

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, “Near your treasure, three people will kill one another. Each of them will be a son of a khalifah. But it will not get to any of them. Then the black flags will come from the East, and they will kill you in a way that no nation had ever been killed.” Then he mentioned something which I cannot recall. (Then) he said: “When you see him, pledge allegiance to him, even if you have to crawl on snow, for verily he is the khalifah of Allah, the Mahdi.”

Ibn Kathir says:

This chain is strong and sahih. The apparent is that what is intended with the mentioned treasure in this context is the treasure of the Ka’bah. Three children of the khalifahs will kill one another near it, (aiming) to take it, until the End Time and the Mahdi will come out and his appearance will be from the Eastern towns.

Dr. al-Bastawi also comments about this riwayah of Ibn Majah, copied above by Ibn Kathir:

إسناده صحيح.

Its chain is sahih.

9. The original army of Imam al-Mahdi will be from the Eastern towns, and he will accompany them. They will be carrying black flags. This army will be extremely powerful, and their first battles will be with Muslims.

Al-Mahdi will be the khalifah of Allah on the earth. His legitimacy as the amir of the believers hinges entirely upon this fact.

D- Shia hadith for Imam Mahdi (عليه السلام)  and Present time:

On 8/26/2021 at 9:04 AM, Muslim2010 said:

A. The Awaited Mahdi

The Messenger of Allah, (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) predicted that a time would come when oppression, injustice and aggression would become extremely rampant all over the globe. At that period, a man from the offspring of Muhammad would rise to power over the entire earth, and he would successfully make oppression, injustice and aggression very rare on its surface.

(From Bihar ul Anwar, by Allama Majlisi, Vol. 51 & 52)

Signs of the Uprising of  Al-Mahdi, the Qaim of Aale Muhammad ((عليه السلام).)

28- Ikmaaluddin: Shaykh Saduq says: Narrated to us my father: Narrated to us Abdullah bin Ja’far Himyari from Ahmad bin Hilal from Hasan bin Mahbub from Abi Ayyub Khazzaz and Alaa bin Razeen from Muhammad bin Muslim that he said:

I heard Abi Abdullah ((عليه السلام).) say:

“Before the rising of the Qaim, Allah will appoint signs for the believers. I asked: What are those, may I be sacrificed on you? He replied: They are mentioned in the saying of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime:

That is before the advent of the Qaim the believers will be tested through fear and hunger and loss of property and lives and fruits; and give good news to the patient.

“And We will most certainly try you with somewhat of fear and hunger and loss of property and lives and fruits; and give good news to the patient…”(Surah Baqarah 2:155)

He said: The believers will be tested through the fear of the last ruler of Bani so-and-so. Hunger through rise in prices. Loss of property and lives and fruits means loss in business and agriculture. And give good news to the patient means those who await for the reappearance.”

After that Imam Ja’far Sadiq ((عليه السلام).) said to Muhammad bin Muslim: O Muhammad this is the interpretation of the verse:

“…but none knows its interpretation except Allah, and those who are  firmly rooted in knowledge…” (Surah Aale Imran 3:7)

This traditional report is also mentioned in Ghaibat Nomani through another chain of narrators from Muhammad bin Muslim from the Holy Imam ((عليه السلام).).

93- Ghaibat Nomani: It is narrated from Ibne Uqdah from Ahmad bin Yusuf from Ibne Mahran from Ibne Bataini from his father from Abu Basir that Imam Ja’far Sadiq ((عليه السلام).) said:

“There must be a sedition before the appearance of the Qaim, during which people become hungry, terrified by killing and they lose their properties and lives. This has been clarified by the Book of Allah. Allah has said:

“And We will most certainly try you with somewhat of fear and hunger and loss of property and lives and fruits; and give good news to the patient.”(Surah Baqarah 2:155)

59- Ghaibat Tusi: It is narrated from Fazl from Ali bin Asbat from Muhammad bin Abi Bilad from Ali bin Muhammad Awdi from his father from his grandfather that Amirul Momineen ((عليه السلام).) said:

“Before the Qaim, there will be red death and white death; there will be locusts at their usual time and at their unusual time like the colors of blood. As for red death it is (from) the sword, while the white death is (from) plague.”

42- Ikmaaluddin: Shaykh Saduq says: And through the same chain of narrators from Husain bin Saeed from Safwan bin Yahya from Abdur Rahman Ibne Hajjaj from Sulaiman bin Khalid that he said: I heard Abi Abdullah ((عليه السلام).) say:

“The reappearance of the Qaim will be preceded by two types of death: the red death and the white death. Five out of seven people will perish through this. The red death is killing by the sword and the white death is plague.”

58- Ghaibat Tusi: It is narrated from Fazl from Abdullah bin Jabla from Abu Ammar from Ali bin Abu Mughira from Abdullah bin Shareek Aamiri from Umaira binte Nufail that she said: I heard binte Hasan bin Ali ((عليه السلام).) say:

“The matter for which you are waiting for, will not occur till you do not get fed up of each other, till you don’t curse each other, till you don’t spit at each other’s face and call each other disbelievers.” I (the narrator) said: “There is nothing positive about it!” He said: “There is indeed, because at that time our Qaim will reappear and all that will end.”

69- Ghaibat Tusi: It is narrated from Fazl from Ibne Mahbub from Bataini from Abu Basir from Imam Ja’far Sadiq ((عليه السلام).) that he said:

“The year preceding the reappearance of Imam Qaim ((عليه السلام).) will be so verdant that dates will rot on the trees and there will be no one to pick them. Have no doubt about it.”

69- Al-Kafi: It is narrated from some scholars from Ahmad bin Muhammad from Ibne Isa from Bakar bin Muhammad from Sudair from Imam Ja’far Sadiq ((عليه السلام).) that he said:

“O Sudair, stay in your houses and remain quiet till these days and night are quiet. But when you learn about the advent of Sufyani, you should come to us immediately even if you have to come walking.”

50- Ghaibat Nomani: It is narrated from Ibne Uqdah from Ahmad bin Yusuf from Ibne Mahran from Ibne Bataini from his father from Wahab bin Hafas from Abu Basir from Imam Ja’far Sadiq ((عليه السلام).) that he said one day:

“Shall I not inform of that without which the Almighty Allah does not accept the deeds of the people? I said: Please tell me what that is? He said: It is the testimony to the oneness of Allah and prophethood of Muhammad and belief in the words of Allah and friendship towards us and aloofness from the enemies of us Imams, and submission to them and sincerity and effort in religious matters and patience and awaiting for the reappearance of our Qaim. Then he said: We are having a kingdom, when Allah wills, He will bring it about. Then he added: One who is desirous to be among the helpers of our Qaim should be waiting for his reappearance and should observe piety and follow good morals and pass his days in this way. If he dies in this condition and the Qaim appears after his death, he will be rewarded just as he had been alive. So make efforts and keep waiting. Glad tidings to you that the Almighty Allah has surrounded you with His mercy.

69- Ikmaaluddin: And through the same chain of narrators, Mufaddal bin Umar said: I heard Imam Ja’far Sadiq ((عليه السلام).) say:

“One who dies awaiting for the reappearance is like one who is with the Qaim in his tent, rather he is like one who fights the holy war under the command of the Messenger of Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم).s.).”

213- It is narrated through his chains directly from Ibne Muskan from Imam Ja’far Sadiq ((عليه السلام).) that he said:

“In the time of the Qaim, a believer who is in the east would be able to see his brother who is in the west and in the same way one who is in the west would be able to see his brother in the east.”

7- Ikmaaluddin: Shaykh Saduq ((رضي الله عنه).) has narrated from Muhammad bin Ibrahim bin Ishaq from Husain bin Ibrahim bin Abdullah bin Mansur from Muhammad bin Harun Hashmi from Ahmad bin Isa from Ahmad bin Sulaiman Dahwi from Muawiyah bin Hisham from Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin Hanafiyyah from his father, Muhammad bin Hanafiyyah from his respected father, Amirul Momineen ((عليه السلام).), who has quoted from the Messenger of Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم).s.) that he said:

“The Mahdi is from us, Ahle Bayt. Allah will reform his affair on a single night. And in another version: Allah will bring reform for him in a single night.”

99- Ghaibat Nomani: It is narrated from Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Saeed from Yahya bin Zakariya from Yusuf Ibne Kalib from Ibne Bataini from Ibne Hamid from Thumali from Imam Muhammad Baqir ((عليه السلام).) that he said:

“The Qaim ((عليه السلام).) will not appear unless his appearance is preceded by great terror, earthquakes, seditions, calamities, spread of plague, killing among the Arabs, great disagreements among people, separation in religion and bad conditions until one wishes to die day and night, because of what madness he sees among people and their trying to eat each other. The Qaim ((عليه السلام).) will appear after people reach a very high extent of despair. Blessed is he, who sees the Qaim ((عليه السلام).) and becomes one of his supporters, and woe unto whoever opposes him, disobeys his orders and becomes his enemy. He appears with a new method, new principles and new judgments. He will be severe with the Arabs. He will just kill without forgiving anyone and without caring for any blame, because he will act according to the will of Allah.”

7- Al-Khisaal: The Chapter of Four hundred: Amirul Momineen ((عليه السلام).) said:

“Await for the reappearance of the master of affair and do not despair of divine mercy, because in the view of the Almighty Allah the most excellent deed is awaiting the reappearance of the master of affair.”

Then he said, “Digging up the mountains is easier than trying to establish a rule for which a time is fixed. Seek help from the Almighty Allah and be patient, since this earth belongs to Allah and He would make any of His servants inherit it and the end is for those who are pious. Do not make haste for the reappearance of the master of affair before his reappearance or you will regret it and do not consider the period of occultation to be long or your hearts will harden.”

Then he said, “One who believes in the master of our affair will be with us in Paradise with us tomorrow. And one who waits for our kingdom, is like one who is smeared in blood fighting on the way of Allah.”

E-Authentic Shia Hadith from Al-Kafi for 12th Imam Al-Mahdi (عليه السلام)

H, Ch. 126, h 1  (English version)

A number of our people has narrated Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Barqi from abu Hashim Dawud ibn al-Qasim al-Ja‘fari from abu Ja‘far al-Thani who has said the following.

"Once Amir al-Mu’minin Ali ((عليه السلام).) came with al-Hassan and al-Husayn and he was holding the hand of Salman for support. He entered the sacred Mosque in Makka and sat down. Then a good looking and well dressed man came. He offered the greeting of peace to Amir al-Mu’minin Ali ((عليه السلام).) who answered his greetings likewise and he sat down. He then said, "I will ask you three questions. If you would answer them I will acknowledge that the people who have acted against you in the matters of leadership after the Holy Prophet (s.a) they have acted against their own selves. Their actions have taken away peace from them in this world as well in the next life. If it would be otherwise, (you can answer) then you and those people will be the same."

Amir al-Mu’minin Ali ((عليه السلام).) said, "Ask whatever you would like."

He said, "Tell about the man who sleeps. Where does his spirit go?" Tell about the man, how he remembers and forgets? Tell me about the man how do his children become similar to the aunts and uncles.?"

Amir al-Mu’minin Ali ((عليه السلام).) turned to al-Hassan and said, "O abu Muhammad, answer him."

The narrator has said that al-Hassan answered his questions. The man then said, "I testify that there is no lord besides Allah and I continue to testify to this fact.

I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah and I continue to testify to this fact

I testify that you are the executor of the will of the Messenger of Allah and that you are the in charge of this task ((Leadership with Divine Authority) with His authorization." He pointed out to Amir al-Mu’minin ((عليه السلام).) with his hand. He then said, "I continue to testify to this fact."

"I testify that you are the executor of his (Amir al-Mu’minin’s ((عليه السلام).) will and the in charge of this task ((Leadership with Divine Authority) by His authorization after him (Amir alMu’minin ((عليه السلام).) " He pointed out with his hand to al-Hassan ((عليه السلام).). Then He then said, "I continue to testify to this fact."

"I testify that al-Husayn ibn Ali ((عليه السلام).) will be the executor of the will of his brother and the in charge of this task ((Leadership with Divine Authority) with His authorization after him.

"I testify in support of Ali ibn al-Husayn ((عليه السلام).) that he will be the in charge of the task of al-Husayn after him.

"I testify that Muhammad ibn Ali will be the in charge of the task of Ali ibn al-Husayn ((عليه السلام).) after him.

"I testify that Ja‘far ibn Muhammad ((عليه السلام).) will be the in charge of the task of Muhammad ibn Ali ((عليه السلام).).

"I testify that Musa will be the in charge of the task of Ja‘far ibn Muhammad after him.

"I testify that Ali ibn Musa will be the in charge of the task of Musa ibn Ja‘far ((عليه السلام).).

"I testify that Muhammad ibn Ali ((عليه السلام).) will be the in charge of the task of Ali ibn Musa ((عليه السلام).) after him.

"I testify that Ali ibn Muhammad will be the in charge of the task of Muhammad ibn Ali ((عليه السلام).) after him.

"I testify that al-Hassan ibn Ali ((عليه السلام).) will be the in charge of the task of Ali ibn Muhammad ((عليه السلام).) after him.

"I testify in support of a man from the children of al-Hassan who will not be mentioned by his Kunya (father or son of so and so) or his name until he will rise with Divine authority to fill the earth with justice after being filled with injustice.

"I offer you my greeting of peace O Amir al-Mu’minin ((عليه السلام).) and praay to Allah to grant you blessings and holiness."

He then stood up and left.

Amir al-Mu’minin ((عليه السلام).) said, "O abu Muhammad follow him and see where went." Al-Hassan ibn Ali ((عليه السلام).) went out to find out (and came back) and said, "As soon as he stepped out of the Mosque I could not figure out in which direction of the earth of Allah did he disappear. I returned to Amir al-Mu’minin ((عليه السلام).) and informed him." He said, "O abu Muhammad, do you know him?" I said, Allah, the Messenger of Allah and Amir al-Mu’minin ((عليه السلام).) know best." He said, "He was al-Khidr ((عليه السلام).) "

A number of our people has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Barqi from his father from Muhammad ibn Yahya al-Khazzaz from Hammad ibn ‘Uthman who has said the following. "I was in the presence of abu ‘Abdallah ((عليه السلام).) that a man said to him, "May Allah grant you well being, you have mentioned that Ali ibn abu Talib ((عليه السلام).) would wear harsh garments. He would buy a shirt worth four Dirhams only and so on. However, we see that you have new garments." The Imam ((عليه السلام).) said, "Ali ibn abu Talib ((عليه السلام).) would do so at a time when people would dislike it. Wearing such garments to day would have defamed him. The best garment for a given time is the garment that people of that time would use. A number of our people has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn abu Nasr from Hammad ibn ‘Uthman from abu ‘Ubayda al-Hadhdha’ who has said the following. "I asked abu Ja‘far ((عليه السلام).) about the capability and the people’s words. The Imam ((عليه السلام).) recited this verse of the Holy Quran. "They still have different beliefs (11:118) except those upon whom God has granted His mercy. God has created them to receive mercy. . . ." (11:119) O abu ‘Ubayda, people face differences in search for truth and all of them will be destroyed." The narrator has said that I then said, "Except those who receive mercy from Allah. (11:119)" The Imam ((عليه السلام).) said, "Such people are our followers whom He has created for His mercy. "God has created them to receive mercy. . . ." (11:119) He has said that they are created to obey the Imam of blessings that He has mentioned in His words "My mercy and blessings have encompassed all things". Such blessing is the knowledge of Imam. His (Imams’) knowledge which is from His knowledge that has encompassed all things. They are our Shi‘a, followers).

Then He has said, ". . . I shall grant mercy to those who maintain piety, (do not acknowledge the authority of those who are not Imams and obedience to them). .." (7:156)

Then Allah has said, ". . . whose description they find written in the Torah and the Gospel.

(The Holy Prophet, the executor of his will and Al-Qa’im (the one who will rise with Divine Authority). He (the Messengers) enjoins them to do good (when he will rise with Divine Authority) and forbids them to do all that is unlawful, -Munkar (unlawful) is one who does not acknowledge the Wilaya of Imam) makes lawful for them all that is pure (receive knowledge from its proper source) and unlawful all that is filthy, (the words of those who oppose the Imam are filthy) removes their burdens (the sins that they had before acknowledging Wilaya of the Imam (Leadership with Divine Authority) and the entanglements in which they are involved (the entanglements are the words that they were not commanded to express. Such words were not in praise and virtue of the Imam. When they recognized the excellence of the Imam He removed their burden. Such burden is the sin. Then He further explains about them) Those who believe in him, (the Imam) honor and help him, and follow the light which is sent down to him, will have everlasting happiness.". (7:157)

(Such people are those who kept away from the worship of the Devil and Satan. So and so are Devil and Satan. Worship is people’s obeying them. Allah then has said, "Turn to God in repentance and submit to Him. . ." (39:56) .Then He has granted them rewards. ". . . will receive glad news both in this life and in the life hereafter. . ." (10:64) (Imam gives them the glad news of the rise of al-Mahdi with Divine Authority, the news of the destruction of their enemies and salvation in the hereafter and their meeting Ali and Muhammad (s.a) and their truthful family at pond of al-Kawthar)."

Lineage

Muhammad b. 'Ali b. al-Husayn b. 'Ali b. Abi Talib, known as al-Baqir (a) was the fifth Imam of the Shi'a faith, son of Imam al-Sajjad (a), the fourth Imam of the Shi'a faith. His mother was Umm 'Abd Allah, daughter of Imam al-Hasan al-Mujtaba (a).[1] Hence he is called Hashimite among Hashimites, 'Alavi among 'Alavis, and Fatimi among Fatimis.[2]

Fāṭima bt. al-Imām al-Ḥasan al-Mujtabā (a) (Arabic:فاطمة بنت الإمام الحسن) was the wife of Imam al-Sajjad (a) and the mother of Imam al-Baqir (a) who was among captives of the family of Imam al-Husayn (a) after the Tragedy of Karbala.

Her teknonym was Umm Muhammad[1] or Umm 'Abd Allah[2] or Umm 'Abduh[3] and her title was (mentioned in a hadith as) al-Siddiqa.[4] In a narration, Jabir says that he had seen the names of the mothers of Imams (a) in Sahifa Fatima. In this narration, he has mentioned Umm 'Abd Allah daughter of al-Hasan b. Ali b. Abi Talib as the mother of Imam al-Baqir (a).[5]

Imam al-Baqir (a) said that once his mother pointed to the wall and prevented it from collapsing.[6]

There is no mention of the mother of Umm 'Abd Allah, the time or place of her burial in historical sources. The marriage of Fatima with 'Ali b. al-Husayn (a) cause their children to be descended from Imam al-Hasan (a) on the mother's side and from Imam al-Husayn (a) on their father's side. After this marriage, Imam al-Baqir (a) was known as a Hashimi among Hashimiyyun, an 'Alawi among 'Alawiyyun or a Fatimi among Fatimiyyun.[7] Some sources mentioned 'Abd Allah al-Bahir as her son.[8]

Thanks for this information. but look at  another  point from the same hadith as given below:

For 11th Imam al-Hassan ibn Ali (عليه السلام) the words as from same hadith.

"I testify that al-Hassan ibn Ali ((عليه السلام).) will be the in charge of the task of Ali ibn Muhammad ((عليه السلام).) after him.

"I testify in support of a man from the children of al-Hassan who will not be mentioned by his Kunya (father or son of so and so) or his name until he will rise with Divine authority to fill the earth with justice after being filled with injustice."

This is also more direct relation for Imam Al-Mahdi (عليه السلام) as son of Imam Al-Hassan ibn Ali (عليه السلام)

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu’Umayr from Mansur from al-Fadl al-A ‘al-A ‘war from abu ‘ubayda al-Hadhdha’ who has said the following. "We lived during the times of abu Ja‘far ((عليه السلام).). When he passed away we were left like sheep without shepherd. We met Salim ibn abu Hafs and he said to me, "O abu ‘Ubayda, who is your Imam?" I said, "My Imams are A’l (family) of Muhammad (s.a)." He said, "Did not I and you hear abu Ja‘far ((عليه السلام).) say, "Whoever would die without an Imam above him he has died as the death of the age ignorance." I said, "Yes, that is very true. I can swear by my own life." It was only about three days before my meeting with abu ‘Abdallah ((عليه السلام).) in which meeting Allah granted to me the blessing of recognizing him as my Imam. I said to abu ‘Abdallah ((عليه السلام).) that Salim said to me so and so." The narrator has said that the Imam ((عليه السلام).) said, "O abu ‘Ubayda, no one of us passes away before appointing a successor that would act and behave just as the preceding Imam and call people to what the Imam before him did. O abu ‘Ubayda what was given to David did not bar Sulayman from receiving (Allah’s blessings)." Then he said, "O abu‘Ubayda, when Al-Qa’im (the one who will rise with Divine Authority) will rise he will judge among people the way David and Sulayman had been judging among people. He will call any witness to testify in a case."

H , Ch. 108, h 89

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Salma ibn al-Khattab from al-Husayn ibn ‘Abd al- Rahman from Ali ibn abu Hamza from abu Basir from abu ‘Abdallah ((عليه السلام).) about the words of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most gracious."Whoever ignores My guidance will live a woeful life. . ." (20:124) The Imam ((عليه السلام).) said, "It means ignoring Wilaya of Ali ((عليه السلام).)." I then read the words of Allah. ". . . and will be brought in Our presence blind on the Day of Judgment." (20:124) The Imam ((عليه السلام).) said, "It means blind of eyes in the next life and blind of heart towards Wilaya of Amir al-Mu’minin Ali ((عليه السلام).) in this life." The Imam ((عليه السلام).) said, "He will be confused on the Day of Judgment and will ask, ". . . He will say, "My Lord, why have you brought me back to life blind; before I could see?" (20:125). The Lord will say, "This is true. But just as you forgot Our revelations that had come to you, so, also, are you forgotten on this day." (20:126)

The Imam ((عليه السلام).) said, " ‘revelations’ means Imams ((عليه السلام).) that you rejected so also you are rejected and left to the fire today. You did not obey their commands and did not listened to their words."

I then read the words of Allah. "Thus We recompense those who are unjust and have no faith in Our revelations. The torment in the life to come will be more severe and last longer." (20:127) The Imam ((عليه السلام).) said, "It refers to those who accept others as partners of Amir al-Mu’minin Ali ((عليه السلام).) in the matters of Wilaya and have no faith in the revelations of his Lord and have left the Imams ((عليه السلام).) on account of hostility who have not followed their teachings and have not acknowledged their Wilaya (Leadership with Divine Authority)." I then read the words of Allah. "God is kind to His servants. He gives sustenance to whomever He wants. . . ." (42:19) The Imam ((عليه السلام).) said, " ‘Sustenance’ is the Wilaya of Ali ((عليه السلام).)." I then read the words of Allah. "We shall increase the harvest of those who seek a good harvest in the life hereafter. . ." (42:20) The Imam ((عليه السلام).) said, "It is the recognition of Amir al-Mu’minin Ali ((عليه السلام).) and the Imams from which the receive additional gains." ". . However, those who want to have their harvest in this life will be given it but will have no share in the hereafter." (42:20) The Imam ((عليه السلام).) said, "They will have no share in government of truth at the time of Al-Qa’im, the one who will rise with Divine Authority)."

H 948, Ch. 83, h 4:

A number of our people has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Mu‘ammar ibn al-Khallad who has said the following. “I heard abu al-Hassan ((عليه السلام).) say, “Do people think they will not be tested because they say, “We have faith?” (29:2). Then he said, “Do you know what al-Fitna, trial is?” I said, May Allah take my soul in service for your cause, in our opinion it is the trial and test in religion. The Imam ((عليه السلام).) said, “They will be test and refined as gold is tested.” He then said, “They will be purified as gold is purified and refined.”

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from ibn Mahbub from Ishaq ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following. "Abu ‘Abdallah ((عليه السلام).) has said, Al-Qa’im ((the one who will rise with Divine Authority) will have two disappearances. One of them will be for a short time and the other for a longer time. No one would know his place during the shorter disappearance except the special persons from his Shi‘a.

F- Imam Mahdi (عليه السلام) and present time:

The sayings of Imams have been taken as these are considered as very close representation for the period /time passing presently:

Signs of the Uprising of the Qaim of Aale Muhammad ((عليه السلام).)    (From Bihar ul Anwar, by Allama Majlisi, Vol. 51 & 52)

G: Occultation of Imam Mahdi (عليه السلام).

Question:  According to Shiites, Imam Mahdi has been born. He is the twelfth Imam. He is present somewhere in the world. He is the son of Imam Askari. Please explain where he is hidden? Why he is hidden and how he will appear?

Shia Scholar: As far as it is concerned that where is he hidden, this needs the philosophy of occultation (Ghaybah) should be explained. What is the philosophy of occultation (Ghaybah)? Philosophy of occultation means that the servants of Allaah who have been chosen by the Lord of the worlds for guidance and who have made them the vicegerent or caliph in the matter of guidance, are sent from Allaah and given those attributes by Allaah, which are necessary to fulfill their responsibilities.

(Further details can be seen at the following link)

Shia Scholar concludes that

This is the answer to your question where Imam Mahdi is hiding.

We're not supposed to wish for his reappearance for it is a grievous affair...I keep telling people about this hadith and they don't seem to believe me...there are numerous hadith that elaborate further on this concept...we want al-Qāʾim (peace be upon him) to come because we love him but his reappearance is accompanied by severe dishevel...there are even a few traditions that instruct the believers to pray for the prolonging of the Mahdi's return...stop saying, "may Allah hasten his return."

Definitely. One thing that I was taught as a child was that Imam Mahdi ((عليه السلام).) will conquer the world peacefully by invitation and persuasion, like Prophet Muhammad ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم).) did. But it seems to be the exact opposite. At the time of his reappearance the world will be so twisted and evil beyond our imagination that he will pick up the sword before anything else. But I guess you can't paint that violent picture to little children with little understanding :P

----------

"Imam al-Baqir (‘a) said: “If only the people knew what program Hadrat al-Qa’im (‘عجّل الله تعالى فرجه الشريف) had and what actions he would take, most of them would wish not to see him at all because he would do a lot of killing and certainly the first killing will occur in the tribe of Quraysh. After the Quraysh, he will not take anything but the sword or give to them anything but the sword. Hadrat al-Mahdi (‘عجّل الله تعالى فرجه الشريف) will act in such a way that most of the people will say, ‘This person is not from the Progeny of Muhammad (S) and if he were really from the Ahl al-Bayt of the Prophet (S), he would have been compassionate’."

----------

"Zurarah asked Imam as-Sadiq (‘a): “Will the approach and policy of Hadrat al-Qa’im (‘عجّل الله تعالى فرجه الشريف) be the same as that of the Prophet (S)?”

The Imam (‘a) replied: “O Zurarah! Never; never. He will not adopt the policy of the Prophet (S) (in dealing with enemies). The Prophet (S) used to deal with enemies leniently, gently and kindly in order to win their hearts and for the people to be acquainted with him. Hadrat al-Qa’im (‘عجّل الله تعالى فرجه الشريف), however, will adopt the policy of killing; he will act according to his order and accept no one’s repentance."

----------

Imam as-Sadiq (‘a) said: "The first confrontation will be the Imam’s (‘عجّل الله تعالى فرجه الشريف) encounter with the tribe of Bani Shaybah. He will amputate their hands and hang them in the Ka‘bah. It will thus be announced by the Imam, ‘These are robbers of the House of God’."

----------

"The Christian priest will embrace Islam but the people in Armenia will be defiant and disobey. Thereafter, the soldiers of the Imam will enter the city and exterminate five hundred thousand men from the Christian forces"

SubhanAllah. Indeed Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) is the greatest and is our Lord and all praises belong to him. I can't thank him enough for his favors he has bestowed upon me and I beg him for forgiveness and his mercy.

What a narration bro comes from Kamal ud deen written 1100 years ago can't people see this narration alone is enough for authenticity of Mazhab e shia?

You are right brother, The people use mobile phone and social media apps to meet people online from all over the world.

It is a proof that has already been explained about 1200 years back by hadith  Imam Ja’far Sadiq ((عليه السلام).

Bani Shaybah are the tribe entrusted with the keys to the Kaʿbah...they were granted the honor of being the custodians of the Grand Mosque by the Prophet (peace be upon him) himself subsequent to the Conquest of Mecca and down through to the modern era.

Salam I totally  disagree with you because It seems that you have no clue of dire situation  of oppressed  people around the world especially  Shias likewise their hard situation  in Yemen & Afghanistan  & Indian  subcontinet nevertheless  postponing or hastening  reappearance  of Imam Mahdi(aj) doesn't  change brutality of his enemies but on the other hand hastening  his reappeance  certainly  will be more benficial for oppressed people  which this his brutality will be only about enemies  of humanity  & injustice  so therefore hastening  his reappeance   will outweigh  good over bad.

He will be like a relentless, uncompromising machine removing whatever stands in his way according to many narrations...playtime is over son...I believe his anger reflects Allah's anger...Allah is angry because of Malhama (i.e. 5/7 or 71.43% of humanity will have perished, nuclear winter envelops the earth, no sun, vegetation unsuitable for consumption due to radiation poisoning etc.) and prevalence of greed and overall demonic behavior...Allah created humanity to be Khalifa on the earth...not to behave sadistically and descend to the level of demons

You have a point anyway  It's based on Sunni interpretation  of conditions  of his reappearance  nevertheless  his reappearance  could be happened before all of these events because  already  we are suffering  from untolerable injustice  on eath nevertheless  this time we must prove ourselves that we won't  leave him alone in contrast to what has happened  about Imam  Hussain (عليه السلام) in Karbala.

You cannot disagree with me...you're disagreeing with the Sixth Imam (ʿalayhi s-salām) not me (i.e.  "Do not make haste for the reappearance of the master of affair before his reappearance.")…did you read the eBook? This narration is written in clear Arabic...do not follow your own inventions...Are you questioning the (sanad/سند ) of the hadīth or are you questioning its (matn/متن)?  The hadīth must be ṣaḥīḥ or hasan, otherwise why did Ayatollah Najmuddin Tabasi cite this hadīth in the eBook? Ayatollah Tabasi cited other traditions that mirror the same sentiment...he specializes in the field(s) of comparative hadīth studies and Mahdism BTW...can you produce a ṣaḥīḥ hadīth that says, (for example) "Imam Ja'far said after mentioning the name of al-Qāʾim recite the formula 'may Allah hasten his return'."? No you can't...why? because it's a folk custom that probably started a hundred years ago by some guy and it gained traction among the masses and became popular...listen to what Ahlul Bayt (a) teach...don't blindly imitate what Shi'a laypeople do...some laypeople curse the three caliphs, do tatbir, put gold on top of Imam Husayn's (a) Al-Askari's (a) shine/dome and Sunni laypeople put gold on the roof of the Dome of the Rock (which the Prophet forbade)…putting gold on top of masājid is one of the 'End Times' prophecies...some narrations even forbid simply talking about al-Qāʾim and consider asking Allah to accelerate his return is seen as reprehensible...i.e. "Those who do not believe in it ask you to hasten it (Day of Judgement) but those who have faith are apprehensive of it, and know that it is a truth" Qurʾān 33:63...hence doubting and impatience in these matters are considered as faithlessness...rather we should say "may Allah prolong his return" (my opinion)..."I was with Imam as-Sadiq (a) when Mahzam al-Asadi came to him and asked him, "May I be sacrificed for you! When will be the time of this rising for which you wait? It has become too long." He (a) said, "O Mahzam! Verily those who appoint time are liars, and those who hasten (Musta'jilun) shall perish, and those who are submissive (to Allah's orders and decrees) shall be saved.

Ibrahim Ibn Mihzam narrated from his father who said:

We mentioned such and such kings in the presence of Imam al-Sadiq (a). He (a) said, "Indeed, people have perished due to their haste (Isti'jal) for this kingdom. Verily, Allah does not hasten for the hasty action of people. For this kingdom there is a final end that will reach it."In a sermon in Nahj al-Balagha, Imam Ali (a) said:"

Be steady on the earth, be patient in afflictions, do not move your hands and swords after the liking of your tongues, and do not make haste (Isti'jal) in what Allah has not expedited for you

Bani Shaybah are the tribe entrusted with the keys to the Kaʿbah...they were granted the honor of being the custodians of the Grand Mosque by the Prophet (peace be upon him) himself subsequent to the Conquest of Mecca and down through to the modern era. Nope, some signs are conditional but others are fixed and cannot be altered under any circumstance...Malhama Al-Kubra i.e. "The Great Battle" or "Armageddon" (for example) is an event that must take place before his rising (i.e. shortly after his initial rising).

we must prove ourselves

Imam Mahdi (a) is selectively picking an inner circle of the highest spiritual pedigree imaginable (initial 313)…when his movement grows he will then expand to 10,000 followers (second wave)…the 313 are basically saints...the 10,000 that follow aren't of the same caliber as the initial 313 but they still possess a high high station... 10,313 followers out of 1.7 billion if he (a) appears tomorrow...we'll be lucky if he hires us as water boys or to peel potatoes.

At the same time, it is said that those who are separated from the Imam of their time are like orphans, so it is natural that people will want to pray to hasten his reappearance. And hadith say to anticipate His reappearance every day and every night

Salam it seems  that you have mistaken "Great Battle in Qirqisia" with "Malhama Al-Kubra i.e. "The Great Battle" or "Armageddon"" which  according  to Shia narrations  "Battle  of Qirqisia" will happen  between cursed Sufyani  & his enemies  which both sides are anti Shia groups  which it's ordered to Shias to remain  neutral about it & don't  participate  it &just obsevre it in order of destroying enemies  of Shias & decreasing army power of Sufyani which reappearance  of Imam Mahdi  will happen  after this sign  inshaAllah  but on the other hand "Malhama Al-Kubra i.e. "The Great Battle" or "Armageddon" is favorite  term between  Sunnis & Christians  which they see it as prerequisite  for initiating  coming of Savior which they must start it by themselves  to force savior(s) to coming which you can see that Sunnis see an upcoming  great war between Pakistan  & India as Malhama which both of anti Shia Sunnis likewise wahabists  will join to any anti Shia army in region of Syria i.e Shaam for initialization  of "Malhama Al-Kubra" which also radical  Christians likewise Evangelists will start their Armageddon  in this area anyway it's ordered to Shias that they don't  participate  in these battles in order to observe perishing & decreasing  power of these anti Shia groups due to great war between  themselves  right before  reappearance  of Imam Mahdi(aj) inshaAllah .

Salam both of wrong cursing & Tatbir are harmful for Shia community  also both of them discouraged  & even banned by majority of Shia Marjas who are deputies  of Imam Mahdi (aj) so therefore  instead  of supporting  these harmful practices & wastiing your time  increase your knowledge  & patience  in order to become  ready for reappearance  of Imam Mahdi(aj) inshaAllah .

Salam this is greatest war during reappearance of Imam Mahdi(aj) which Sufyani will battle with other groups which all of groups will be anti shia which they will fight with each other for power & becoming leader which at the end of it a large number of them will kill in battle that there will be nobody bury deads which beasts & predators by command of Allah will eat dead bodies Sufyani will win battle by losing a great portion of it's army power .
