سلام

I was always under the impression that everyone is questioned in the grave. However, according to the following Saheeh narration, only the pure believers and the pure disbelievers are questioned.

There's another narration with an almost-identical matn as this one but with a different sanad, which Majlisi has ranked as Hasan.

Salam. No one will be asked in the grave except one who has pure faith or pure unbelief.

Salam. The words by Shaykh al-Mufid in the book The Emendation of A Shi'ite Creed, are wise and we should always think about this. I don't have the original Arabic, but this is the translator's words in English:

"These narrations are all permissible, yet we do not prefer one to another; since they are of similar import, and since our procedure, in such cases, is to be cautious and non-committal."
