which mosque and church supported this event? how could they have done such sellout, for what? are you sure about a mosque supporting them wearing that shirt?

Don't have the names on me but I can find out. It was about two hours south in my state where our capitol building Is. So not local to where I'm from. But it was the all the talk of the arabs for a couple of weeks. Pretty positive it wasn't a Shia masjid though.

I found a phone case that's pretty much identical to the shirt.

https://www.spreadshirt.com/shop/design/allah+is+gay+rainbow+kaaba+iphone+7+8+plus+case-D5e9032b91cbf3a24c8609cf9?sellable=Zbra1LrzRVFGE8GBBDjE-1189-38

Nvm found the shirt via google actually being sold on an atheist website; https://www.atheistrepublic.com/store/allah%2Bis%2Bgay%2Brainbow%2Bkaaba-A5e9032b91cbf3a24c8609cf9?productType=210&sellable=Zbra1LrzRVFGE8GBBDjE-210-7&appearance=1

You can even google Muslim LGBT solidarity to see them sporting other gear. @Diazlinked a thread above highlighting this more.

I'd sooner support a Shiachat-sponsored counseling for those of us who have dealt with the madness that is Flat Earth or the anti-vax nonsense. It's not good for the body or the psyche.

" I'd support their right to speak their nonsense, so long as they aren't hurting anyone or blaspheming." That's what some people said about Trump and his voters, it's the little things that snowball.

True, but where do we draw the line? Heavy censorship kills discussion, and discussion is the life-force of shiachat.

The flat earth cult on its own is not dangerous, but it invariably leads to general denial of knowledge and also I've seen strong correlation between flat earth beliefs and racism/eugenics.

But we have to work within the framework of the rules here. So long as no rule has been broken, we almost always should not censor.

You are literally talking about the type of people that are ushering in the end times with the destruction of societies. If we are too soft our communities get swallowed up in the absurdity and the truth is it already has happened. I’ve come across many Muslims that support lgbtq and neo feminism that is destroying the family unit and targeting our children. I am not advocating attacking them like that idiot in the UK did to that silly woman at speakers corner, but we are not to be soft and ‘accepting’. Hell no.

I have no problem if a man is homosexual but he still lives and dresses like a man, and keeps his homosexuality to himself, unlike those that go in "gay-pride marches".

But when I see a gay man dressed like a woman and acting like a woman (like the pictures shown before), I immediatly get disgusted and I'm like :"Bro, what the... ".image.png.488c58b3be9bb1b71920332342b2dc93.png

Somehow I can accurately recognize if a man is gay simply by looking at them (how they act) for a few seconds... They're making it too easy.

It's funny how instead of knocking from the door, window hides behind the curtains and always is after the same users who are against her position.

Then she disappears.

This is not a secular, liberal leaning platform.  Get over it.

If you find the need to vent, go open a tiktok and instaHaram page.  Yell at your phone as much as you want.

Your free to do so.

Meanwhile, the Biden Administration wants to censor users of social media platforms by labeling it as misinformation.  They don't want free discussions to take place anymore. Just listen to government, they know what's best for it's slaves.

As Jimmy Dore would say, down is up, up is down.

It’s really disheartening to say the least

It's due endorsing "K-Pop" idols between Muslim people specially teen agers on social media because "K-pop" is hiding LGBTQ under a beautiful umbrella so because It has not shown directly spreading LGBTQ and due influence of "k-dramas" on many families around thre world specially in west Asia & ME so "K-pop" could affect younger generation by legal broadcasting "K-pop" in sunni countries & trough farsi speaking satelite channels in Iran & surrounding countries.

I think the problem with the Shia dislike for gay etc is twofold. We have this obligation of Tabarra / Disassociation from Evil. Secondly in our faith sodomy is deemed Kufr / Disbelief, not a usual sin. Because of Tabarra we have to disassociate in our own fashions from all evil, be it past, present or yet to come. So, since this is "Shiachat", yeah.

Secondly tightening the noose of censorship never helps. People like conspiracy theories. Its like reading fiction. Sometimes it is the truth. Nothing to be afraid of. Its not like CNN.

According to us Muslims; Dajjal and Sufyani are real and what they do are not conspiracies. It is happening. The signs of end times.

The wars, the epidemics, and spreading of immorality (LGBTXYZs); they are all real. But we work for the coming of Imam Mahdi (عليه السلام) and we want to prepare the ground for his return. So; yes we will always talk about the "conspiracies" and the immoralities which Anti-Christ (Zionism) spread to the world.

Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) talks about it all the time. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and Twelve Imams (عليه السلام) talk about it. And so do we.

The Holy Quran says: "When they get power they direct all their efforts towards spreading mischief in the land, destroying harvests (Genetically Engineered Foods, Intentional Burning of Forests, Crops etc.) and ending the human race (Wars, Gayhood, Feminism, Family Planning, Epidemics etc.) whereas Allah does not like mischief." https://tanzil.net/#2:205

Family planning is necessary. Having many children can destroy a woman's physical and mental health. It is unjust and inhumane not to allow a woman to have a few kids if she wants.

Do you think that if Iran had never allowed vasectomies or other forms of birth control that the birth rate would have plummeted in the way that it has?

I agree that it is a tricky issue but for the greater good of the community birth control should be as limited as possible, couples can practice natural forms of birth control and leave it up to Allah.

It isn't only Iran, the most European countries have destroyed themselves and birth control is clearly one of the causes for that.

In other news…

Got this pic from Jordan Peterson’s twitter page. Here’s some context:

“This week, every lawyer in Nova Scotia was spammed with this by the province's legal regulator, which is now leveraging its regulatory monopoly for ideological purposes. Read the bio: It's like some satirical language invented by conservatives to mock progressives.”

First of all, what on Earth are these new prefixes?! 2SL? :hahaha: I also had a hard time reading Nik’s bio. TALK ABOUT VICTIMHOOD!!!

I think that for Iran, fertility rate of 2 is good and enough. It means averagely 2 kids per family. With this rate, the population wont increase.

I believe that population growth will do great harm to the society. An example are the people who live in Sistan and Baluchestan. Many people there, specially those in rural areas, have many children and live in extreme poverty. I think these people must be encouraged (and if it is not enough then) forced to use birth control methods for by bearing more children, not only do they oppress these poor kids (who have to experience poverty, malnutrition, lack of welfare and education and ...), but they will cause harm to the society as well.

My cousin's son is in elementary and as for a school trip they took them to the capitol building of our state where they surprised them by participating in a Pride Rally event. The organizers were passing out shirts with both Christian and Muslim solidarity since the event was supported by a local Church and Mosque. Christian shirt had a picture of Jesus placing a homosexual couple's hands together. The Muslim shirt was the Ka'bah decorated with the LGBT flag and the statement that ended with a 3 letter word "Allah is ..." God forgive us.

I was told the PTA meeting was met with joy by most parents.

May Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) give you sabr brother, and May Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) bring about the Zuhoor very soon, InShahAllah.

I have seen alot of things but this is something I have never personally witnessed. May Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) give us all Sabr and take revenge on those people who mock the religion openly. I can't imagine a masjid, even a 'liberal' one that would support such an event. Maybe it does exist. I hope I never have the unfortunate experience to visit such as 'masjid'. The Christian organizations supporting this doesn't surprise me at all. There is a large population of Christians (but not all) who believe that if something becomes popular in a society, then it is ok to do and support.

Maybe more Muslims should do like I do and not watch TV

I don't watch TV or movies save for documentaries specifically because of the amount of homosexual & transsexual propaganda that comes with watching American and European TV and movies. I also don't watch it because of the amount of smut and soft-core pornography in most of these shows now. I am remarkably consistent when it comes to sexual content in that I don't want to see any of it, regardless of whether it's gay or straight.

But the problem is that American society is trying to indoctrinate children into the homosexual lifestyle as was shown with those "my two dads" books earlier. I am glad that I do not have children because I would find it ridiculously hard to raise a moral child in today's environment and my heart breaks for the children of my friends who are indoctrinated with this stuff in public schools (my one buddy pulled his kids out of public school and now sends them to Catholic school specifically because of the amount of homosexual propaganda that now starts in public schools as young as the first grade, he told me all about it).

and as far as "guest window" goes, we all know who you really are because you make these threads every single time we preach against the evils of the sin of Prophet Lut's people (sodomy & the homosexual lifestyle) on here. You're consistently the only person on here who feels a need to defend the sin of sodomy because you mistakenly think that you were "born gay" and I say this as lovingly as possible, but we all face trials and temptations from Satan in this life: you simply have chosen to give yourself over to it instead of doing the right thing and resisting the temptation to sin. I myself face the temptation to fornicate and abuse drugs, but you know what? I don't give in to it, because I love Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) and know that the penalty for these sins is hell. Still, I preach against drug abuse and fornication because it helps me to actually remind myself of the fact that they are bad and it builds my character to resist and speak out against them and in favor of the things that Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) loves.

Nobody on here is preaching "hatred" of so-called "homosexuals", we're preaching what the Quran and Hadith say about them, just like we preach about what the Quran and Hadith say about heterosexual fornication, alcohol, pork, etc. The difference is that homosexuality is being crammed down on us by the culture of the Western nations that some of us live in, as something glamorous or desirable and we're sick of it and what it is doing to our societies: making a degenerate culture, creating weak and effeminate men and masculine women, confusing children and sexualizing them at an age when they shouldn't even know about these things.

So don't get all uppity with us, as I've said before I don't write the mail, I just deliver it.

This is quite laughable, honestly.

I'm a straight woman, married. Just had to point that out. You are completely wrong in your assumptions. I don't believe anyone is born gay. Perhaps if you had actually read my post, you would understand that I do not believe that gays should be flaunting their sins, which is not what I am describing here. You have proved my point on the bigotry in this thread because you have projected that since I haven't talked about how gays are the scum of the earth, as opposed to "we shouldn't hate gays as people as if they are worse than murderers and raging alcoholics and no one has a right to harm them", you assume that I am gay. You want to believe that I support gays because I have asked people to actually think about wether they don't support them sinful lifestyle or wether they are projecting their own hatred. Hating the sin does not mean being hateful of the people, which perhaps people on this thread have a problem with. Clearly, there is something wrong with the ummah if gays leave islam at higher rates after being abused mentally, emotionally, and physically, whereas I seriously doubt you would ever ostracize someone from being an alcoholic, or someone who has zina.

If I'm not mistaken, you are a republican and a convert from Catholicism, correct? It seems that you're mixing up Islam with republican ideologies of social constructs. Islam doesn't support the notion of "weak men" and "masculine women"--who defines these terms? Women in the time of the prophet were not meek people. They still worked outside the home, and Khadijah even proposed to the Prophet instead of waiting around for him. She was a business woman. All of which traits are defined as "masculine". What is considered "weakness" in men depends on cultural and personal factors. In societies where intuition and myth are valued, "weak men" are seen as "strong" for their cooperation skills, wisdom, and maintaining social harmony. For me, so-called "strong" men aren't strong, they are aggressive and weak minded if they feel the need to assert their masculinity all the time. They also make terrible long term spouses, because everyone will tire of their difficult personality.

Instead, Islam acknowledges that people are all temperamentally different. While men are responsible for having a job, women get to choose if they want to work, but that doesn't mean that a rigid dynamic will work for everyone. It just means that men are given that responsibility to provide and to not laze around. But providing doesn't mean being the breadwinner while women stay in the kitchen. There are women who earn more than their husbands. It doesn't mean that he isn't providing fot his family.

"Homosexuality being crammed by Western culture" -- drinking is crammed down everyone's throats. There is always a sex scene on TV. I don't see people getting worked up about it. This statement is just an excuse to be hateful. I dislike sin, but I don't go around hating a certain group of people who partake in certain sins. You sound like those kind of people who supports the individuals who have signs on schools campus and talk about how they hate XYZ group under the guise of sin. If you can't see the difference between hatred of sin and hatred of a person, then maybe you need to work on yourself. While you're hating on the LGBTQ, they are finding comfort and solace in the arms of people who will leading them even more astray.

WIth all due respect, brother Abdul Hadi has written what is in agreement with Islam - the fact that it seems to be written from a Republican bias is mere conjecture and coincidence. I write this when I was born in a mixed Twelver/Sunni family, and my immediate family, sadly, are mired deep in ideologies that are far removed from Islam, including acceptance of LGBTQ. I deal with them the best I can, maintaining Silah al Rahm. Neither do I force religion upon them, because it would be futile at this point.

However, I don't support their ideas for a second.

Again, with all due respect, this is written with a heavy post-modern feminist slant. Parts of feminism do agree with Islam, but lets not kid ourselves; these are not miscible.

A husband has a certain amount of authority over his wife, and a father has a certain amount of authority over his children, especially his daughter(s) - a daughter can not get married without the consent of the father/guardian under most circumstances. No way to beat around that bush.

Islam does mandate good ikhlaq and following certain guidelines, so that men in authority don't become dictators, but rather benevolent leaders and providers.

Search around in hadith, and you will find that confidence, strong leadership skills, and a strong body are desired traits in a Momin man. These are not social constructs - they are universal Islamic truth.

This isn't what our deen teaches us. We hate Yazid, Muawiya, and Abu Sufyan (may Allah withdraw His Mercy from them all). You might want too look into the hadith by Imam Jafar Sadiq ((عليه السلام)), where he said that religion is both love and hate.
