Is shirk worse than killing

Is shirk worse than genocide, killing, murder, theft, rape, drugs...? Would love to get the sayings of the ahlulbayt on this; what happens if as a Muslim I feel more disgusted by all the above acts than shirk? Who’s moral compass needs to be reevaluated?

Salaam,

Shirk is the parent of all sins. A saying (by Imam Ali (عليه السلام) I guess) is:

"Love of this world is the mother of all sins."

Because love of this world, forces us to consider anything else above Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) which is shirk.

A person, IMHO, cannot kill unjustly if he is free of shirk.
