If Shia Islam is the truth, then it makes perfect sense for the US government to be seizing their websites. They have a vested interest from keeping people from the truth, it is not good for what they're about. From the perspective of the US govt, the worst possible thing that could happen is for Shia Islam to get a hold in this country. Not to mention their lovers and co-conspirators, Saud & Israel, would not be happy about it either.

I'm not saying that it's the right thing to do, don't get me wrong. Just that I understand why they are doing it. I learned years ago that the government of the United States is a satanic enterprise, which is why they brought down two of their tallest towers, blamed it on Islam, and then used that as a pretext to occupy Iraq and Afghanistan for twenty years.

And out of all the websites that you could seize, like Daesh websites, they make the choice to seize Ahlulbayt TV's website. A Website that features videos on how to properly recite surahs.

Yeah, makes perfect sense doesn't it?

Use Tor Browser, its free and better (iirc open source too?). Or use a VPN. But I do not recommend commercial VPNs. Tor does everything, even enables you to use the "dark net".

Try Tor, I guarantee its safety. There is always a way. Always a mechanism. Unless those sites are no longer being hosted or disconnected somehow by hackers etc then it should work. Even if they are hacked, they should be back in time. They played golf on the moon for three days during 60s and all  but sites injurious to their "matrix"  like The Pirate Bay and free  movie streamers and people with much less tech knowledge than Snowden have all survived and thrived for decades. So I just find it hard to believe. Most people greatly overestimate them which is a mistake.

They cannot seize Daesh websites. They cannot even block Daesh Facebook accounts. How will ISIS do it's recruitment drives then? Man, it is an employment opportunity in a pro-American terrorist organization.

Domain names that end with "dot com" "dot net" "dot org" USUALLY are registered in America. And once the American regime seizes the domain name, you can not reach the website no matter where you live.

However, if a domain name is registered in another country like; let's say "dot ir" (Iran), "dot iq" (Iraq), "dot lb" (Lebanon), "dot uk (England), America can do nothing except 1- Pressure owner of the mentioned country to seize the website 2- Block American citizens access the mentioned webstie. The latter can be overcome by using VPN, however, seizing can not be overcome.

So, all you need for these TV channels is to get another domain name and move the website (redirect) there. However, because the domain name will be different now, people will not access their search results for some time and knowing google they will filter these websites on your researches.

So, yes, back then the American regime used to remove Iranian-Iraqi-Lebanese TV channels from satellite providers to stop spread of the Shia Islam. And now they are trying to remove them from the internet as well. However, they provide their Akhbari agents with lots of TV channels.

These seizures, right after the election in Iran, proves that Iranians made a good choice. And that the Resistance Media is so important. I urge my brethren to spread these seized TV channels and their websites (new domain names).

Like spreading the word for presstv.ir  instead of the seized   presstv.com

Thats amazing. Well, the only good thing about this is that it completely exposes them as hypocrites. They say they believe in free speech, but what they are saying is we believe in free speech that backs up our interests and our point of view. If it doesn't, then they don't support it. I hope it is clear to everyone now.

Ahl Al Bayt TV is a religious channel which has nothing to do with any military organization or any government. So for them to seize that domain and shut them down is quite a stretch. I did an interview with them a few years ago, and I can say that, from what I experienced, their sole concern is spreading the message of Ahl Al Bayt((عليه السلام)). The channel is not really even political, and they have actually been criticized by some brothers and sisters for not being more political. Wow.

The reason why they seized it is because they have alot of high quality content in English, which is very rare. So many brothers and sisters, who's first language is English,  were guided to the path of Ahl Al Bayt((عليه السلام)) thru this service. That is the only reason they did this. At the same time, I think this is going to backfire on them, big time, because now they are exposed for what they truly are. The mask came off.

Probably their next target is Imam Hussein TV. Then maybe Shiachat, who knows at this point. I just checked Imam Hussein TV

http://imamhussein.tv/

It's still up, for now.

That should have been obvious to everyone that the US govt doesn't actually care about free speech, since they use private companies (Facebook, Twitter) to censor and control public discourse and then simply say "They're private companies, they can do what they want" and make no effort to ensure that Americans have the right to speak freely by reigning in the power of these companies to censor anything that is contrary to or critical of the politically-correct liberal worldview.

For instance, it is OK with Twitter and Facebook for people to go on their platforms to lambaste (and even threaten) people who believe in traditional values, but if you go on these platforms and point out Islam's very clear rulings on homosexuality, your content will be censored and you will be banned for "hate speech".

They even seized  www.ifilmtv.com  The Iranian TV Network that broadcasts ONLY Iranian Movies and TV Serials in Farsi or dubbed in English and Arabic. And three Iraqi TV channels and a Yemeni TV Channel.

So, they are doing everything they can to stop spread of the message of the Islamic Republic and Resistance Front. They don't want their nations meet these ME countries for real, unlike what they portray them in their media.

Because the message of Shia Islam is the answer to the utter lack of morals and lack of purpose in life that American consumer society has created. They wonder why there is an outbreak of mental illness, why so many people are unhappy-- Shia Islam gives an answer for that, but it's diametrically opposed to morally bankrupt consumer capitalism, so the people who truly own America want to keep the people from being exposed to it.

If there was a single Shia Mosque/Islamic Center in every American town, and these mosques/Islamic centers did any sort of outreach work in the community, America would be a radically different culture in a generation. Churches used to do this, they used to exist to bring some sort of moral backbone to the everyday people of America but around 2008, they began compromising their message and by 2014 were completely and utterly irrelevant in American communities thanks to the efforts of YouTube atheists and the general spinelessness of Americans themselves, who traded the traditional message of Christianity for what basically amounts to New Age Self Help nonsense. Gone is the focus on seeking salvation and avoiding sin, Churches now are glorified self help seminars where the politically incorrect parts of the Bible are ignored, doctrine is cherry picked, and the church itself has lost all relevance in America because of "Prosperity Gospel" theology that teaches that materialism is good and if you aren't stacking riches, that God doesn't love you. Churches no longer ask their adherents to behave a certain way-- any sort of sin is now a personal matter and "Don't judge lest ye be judged yourself". Church has become a weekly rock concert and the churches that haven't changed, are generally targets of disrespect and ridicule that only little old ladies attend until eventually the church dies off and shutters it's doors.

I don't know how or why it got this way. It didn't seem like it was going to end up like this when I was a kid. I went to the youth conferences like Acquire the Fire where young people were taught to "make a bold stand for Jesus", everyone was crying with their hands in the air and closed eyes... then the conference ended and these kids went back to their public schools and the secularism eventually took them over. They had premarital sex, they gossiped, they did drugs and weren't compassionate to the poor nor did they get active in their community to evangelize and bring new blood into their churches. They grew up, bought into materialism and consumerism, and eventually forgot all about church and the bible. Even the few who read their bibles every day and had the Christian music CDs eventually grew up and forgot about the religion of their youth, choosing to tolerate sin and degeneracy so as not to "rock the boat". And America declined and became an open sewer of immorality as a result.

This is why America needs you. It needs what you have to offer, desperately. People are lost in a drunken stupor of degeneracy, materialism, and secularism. If Shia Islam is not capable of getting this country back on track, then I don't know what is. So don't hide in your mosques, don't conceal your faith brothers and sisters, America needs you and your religion to restore even a semblance of sanity to this country. People are hopeless, mental illness is on the rise because secular materialism is an empty and unpleasant way of life. "If it feels good, do it" is leading to a crisis of suicides, drug addiction, and the loss of the nuclear family as the driving unit of American society. People don't base their lives around having families with children anymore, they don't marry and if they do, the marriages never last. The majority of children in my town are born outside of marriage or the father just up and leaves after a few years. Men no longer know how to be men and women refuse to be women and America is becoming the modern equivalent of the People of Lut, and Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) is not going to tolerate it forever. We are a debased people who laugh at and mock religion, family, and all that is pure and good in the human experience. Our leaders do not listen to us and start wars to propagate this Deathstyle to the rest of the world and there is nothing that we can do to stop them.

America needs you, brothers and sisters. America needs a great, grand narrative to give people's lives a sense of meaning again. America needs Shia Islam. Will you help to bring it to America or will you simply let 300+ million people go their entire lives without hearing the Prophet's (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) message?

Imam Hussein TV won't be targeted in a millenia brother. Even if all shia channels get blocked.

Though Shiachat and in fact we forgot shiatv.net can be a great target. Shiatv gives a huge platform for Shiism (political and non-political).

There are several issues here. Yes, I agree that Masjids should do outreach and there are some that do in a limited way, but in general this is not happening.

There are good reasons for this that we need to understand before we give a judgement regarding this. First reason is that most of these Mosques / Centers were founded by and continue to be managed by first general immigrants from Muslims countries. Especially when you are talking about Shia Immigrants from countries where traditionally they were an oppressed minority, like Lebanon, Pakistan, and Iraq, they're main concern, and probably only concern is surviving till tomorrow. The case could be made that now in places like Lebanon and Iraq Shia are actually the majority but still have the mentality of an oppressed minority.

If your sole or main concern is surviving till tomorrow, you will see things like 'outreach' as a luxury that you can't afford to do. Also, coming from a country where 'outreach' like it is done in the US, the 'West' doesn't really happen, they probably aren't familiar with the concept or only have a vague idea about what it is. There main concern is preserving their identity as a Muslim, and as a Shia, and doing the same for their wife, children. That is their scope and their focus. Anything outside of this is not something they really consider. To change something, you first have to understand who makes they decisions, and what their mentality is. You've heard the phrase, 'Where you stand depends on where you sit'. So only by knowing where someone is sitting can you understand where they stand and most importantly 'Why' there stand is like that.

The first generation immigrant communities did alot for spreading Islam in the 'West'. They took the community from 0 to 1. That is not a small task and took alot of hard work and sacrifice over many years. That is not something we should discount or take for granted. We must look at this generation respectfully, but also tell them that it is time for new voices to have a 'seat at the table' in the Masjids, Islamic organizations. We need those who are more familiar with the mentality of the average American / Canadian/ Australian, etc, in order to build bridges with those communities. This is what Outreach is actually, its building a bridge between our community and this other community. We will still be our community and they will still be there community, but we have a means to facilitate dialog and interaction based on sincerity and understanding and a set of common goals. This is what is needed. I'm not sure if the first generation, i.e. the 'founders' can do this because I am not sure it is something they are even interested in doing. It will take the younger generation to take the community from 1 to 2.

The US Government and the large corporations that do their bidding have a different agenda from the people of the US. The sole focus of this first group is to preserve their power and privileges that they have enjoyed for so many years, unchallenged. They exploit the fact that the Muslim communities in the West are not doing outreach and are not attempting , at present, to build bridges with the larger communities, in order to turn people against each other and create chaos. It is in their interest that communities in the US and in the West are divided into little 'Bantustans' or "Fiefdoms' with each group trying to undermine the other one, because then while all these groups are fighting, they will be the 'biggest dog on the block' and can control all the other ones. Divide and Conquer, in the classic sense. They do this as much within the US as they do it outside. The solution for this is to have Muslim communities build bridges and have common understanding with other communities so that, at a minimum, there is not distrust and hatred and misunderstanding. Like I said above, this is the job of the younger generations to make this a reality.

I think that it's abundantly clear that I am very concerned about the "soul" of the country, so to speak. So I approach a lot of things from that perspective. I feel like I am living among Lut's people and I worry that the day is going to come soon when this country is destroyed by a shower of stones of baked clay & I know that this is a terrible thing to say, but this country deserves it for it's immorality. Just the gross debauchery alone is enough to condemn this country ten times over but I'm factoring in the sins of gross materialism, imperialism, and the general attitude of scoffing at Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) and the corruption of children that goes on in this country.

America has lost it's soul and it happened on the watch of Western people. We told God that he was not wanted in our society and now he has "turned his back" on us (figure of speech) and given the country over to its perverse desires. America is corrupt and accursed among nations and people like me and the rest of us are all to blame because we let it happen. We didn't stand up and push back when God was being thrown out of society because we too were brainwashed by media into consumerism and materialism.

Christianity has been thoroughly defeated by secularism and the culture reflects it. I don't personally know what to do and feel like there's nothing I can do, because I am just one person.
