Raising all those children will be more than full-time work for you and all your wives. You'll have to find like minded comrades to work with you on building (and presumably training and maintaining) an army! Or are you planning enough children to BE the army?

Yes, I will work what I work currently but little less. It's never a good idea to waste time. The time left can be spent on many other things like working for our community, educating shi'as. For personal leisure, I would like to go on vacation and sightseeing frequently.

Assuming that I wouldn't need to worry about the financial side, I believe it's doable.
The hard part is finding wives that are willing to take the journey with you.

With a faithful and God fearing husband & father, and wives that respect honour and are obedient to husband inshaAllah then it's doable.

I have a theory that most people would prefer to do things which are beneficial, if they could. I asked this question here in shiachat, on Twitter where most of my contacts are, shall we say, less conservative, and on Facebook where my family and friends tend to be more socially conservative. I haven't gotten enough answers so far to decide whether my theory is correct but it looks like people want to benefit society, and they want to learn new things.

I hope I get enough answers from diverse enough people that I can use it to form new ideas.

wa alaikum salam wa rahmatullah,

I would own several businesses and run them. For me, I get fulfillment out of being ambitious and excelling at work. No matter if I had all the money, I'd still want to continue. I'd probably try to find a wife probably in some remote place in the world.

Salam alaikum brothers and sisters.

If you didn't need to work for money, you knew all your needs would be met, how would you spend your time? Would you continue in your current work? Care for family? Or do something else entirely?

i was always used to think that too. And my conclusion was i would still do my work, because i fell in love with my job.

I hope you are able to do that.

Great question! I believe money is meant to be used not hoarded. (Although I do believe that I must have savings to be used in case of emergencies so that I will not be a burden on others to provide for me.) Money is needful to live and provide for our families but when there is more than enough I believe it is then to be used to bring joy and relief of suffering to those around us and even to those on the other side of the world. Someone once asked me when I am the most happy. It occurred to me that I receive so much joy when I am able to help someone else and see joy on their faces...especially children. Money used wisely is able to accomplish so much good in this world that needs good news.

I remember advice from a children's worker who said this: "When there is a crisis or something terrible happens, look for the 'helpers.'"

I want to be a helper and if my extra money has the potential of doing that...well, then I desire to participate!!

No I would not continue with my job but look for something else.

Spend more time learning and gaining religious knowledge, more duas and prayers. Look after my parents.

Volunteer and help the needy (across the world e.g donating money to buy food/clothes/medicine/house rent and visit those places if safe to do so).

Read & Write Books & Play sports & Video Games & Watch Anime & God knows when I will get married.

Wassalam,

Mostly reading and studying. Religious knowledge. Working for the culture of my soul. Teaching children (both religious and secular knowledge). Learning classical Arabic. Traveling for Ziyārāt. Gardening. Getting a few pet animals. Finishing reading all those books that I have been meaning to.
