Think Palestine: Boycott Israeli Dates this Ramadan!

Quote

Each consignment of goods from Palestine must be accompanied by a EUR1 certificate which proves the origin of the goods. Consumers should ask the importer for a copy of the EUR1 certificate.
If the packaging does not clearly show the origin of the goods or the manufacturer/importer details are not shown on the packaging, then this should be reported to local trading standards who have an obligation to investigate and if need be, remove the goods off the shelf. We have produced a template letter for you to edit and use.

Are you breaking your fast with the Occupier’s date?

*The UK is Israel’s second largest market for dates.
*Most Medjool dates are from Israel
*Almost all date boxes with NO LABEL are from Israel

Medjool have long been know to be an Israeli product don’t know why anyone had a reason to buy in first place , besides they are quiet bad quality compared to other ME countries dates

Medjool is a type of date that is grown, mostly, in Hijaz. They are also grown in other places, even in the US in the California Desert. Zaytoon is a brand name. Just to clarify. Zaytoon also means 'olive' in Arabic, but it is used as a brand name by this particular company that operates in Occupied Palestine.

Just like Sabra Hummus (which is also made in Occupied Palestine by Israeli Settlers, which is why I don't buy it). It is a brand name.
