Praying correctly

Salam everyone,

im 24 and have recently realised that I don’t pray properly. I pray with my husband now and follow along but I feel as though that is not enough. I printed out a booklet, am I allowed to place it infront of me while praying? Am I allowed to flick the pages? My only trouble is when I’m seated down, I don’t know what to say. Can someone confirm if this is valid?

When I converted I was told its find to have notes or such with you until you have memorised them.

I think it is correct. You can read them from your paper. Keep it in your pocket and read from it then put it back in your pocket. 

Why don't you memorize them? It just takes few minutes to memorize
