Interpretation of dream

Salaam. I come from a sunni background but I have been converted to a Shia Alhamdulillah..still learning though.. I wanted to know about a recent dream/hallucination that I had.. I say this cause I know I wasn’t in deep sleep but I know what I saw.. it was a figure of a man wearing a green turban and white sleeves.. he was on his on knee (kneeling) and was looking inside what I could figure my bag in which was my phone. I could see my phone on which was the name of the person who I love and intend to do nikah with InshaAllah.. if anyone could help me understand this.. jazakallah

Don't worry about the dream, akhi. From a shar'i point of view, they don't have an authoritative value. Give sadaqa , seek refuge in Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى), and say " Inshaallah khayr" after it. He (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) will do what is in your best interest.

Dreams have interpretation. Not all dreams are true though.

I think @Ehsanis right, the name of the person is important. The man with green turban and white sleeves,do you know who it was? a imam masoom or not? dreams are always in symbols also the timing of the dream/hallucination is most reliable when its before the morning prayer.

I’d say your bag represents worldly life , unimportant baggage burden, and looking into it means distractions, the person looking in was u , ur intentions might be a waste of time and distraction, do an istikhara but really look into your soul why do u want to do this? For worldly pleasure ? ‘Your possessions and your children are only a trial, and Allah it is with Whom is a great reward’

The Person with green Turban and white sleeves was Imam Mahdi (ajtfs) . The bag represents you and your life . The phone represents your mind and what was on the phone was what you constantly think about. So Imam Zaman (ajtfs) looked into your life and saw that the only thing that's on your mind is (the person you want to so Nikah with) This is a reminder that people these days have been intoxicated with the love of others instead of the Imam of our Time (ajtfs) . Looks to me like a warning , suggest you repent and increase your relationship with Imam Al-Mahdi (ajtfs)

The presence of a seemingly holy figure in your dream is a sign that it is not an illusion and it has a meaning. 

Rest I would say that it seems to be a good dream. I don't know much about dreams but you were from ahl Sunnah and you converted. Maybe, the dream says that you and your faith and your life has been recognized by the holy figure. They know your state and they are watching you.

I would say that it is a good dream because you have just converted and Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) is encouraging you to seek more knowledge and advance in terms of faith to greater levels.

Salam one of important tasks for increasing  of " your relationship with Imam Al-Mahdi (ajtfs)" is marrying  with information  of making a family & having children  in sake of helping  Imam Al-Mahdi (ajtfs) so it looks like that this marriage  of these two persons  approved by Imam Al-Mahdi (ajtfs) inshaAllah .
