Assalamualaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh, I am a new revert to Shia Islam, and recently I have read that circumcision is obligatory for Shiite men, I'm already in my 20s and I heard that it really hurts to get chopped off at this age, do I really need to do it? I would be extremely embarassed to have some guy looking, touching and cutting my penis skin. If I die living as a pious follower of the Ahlul Bayt will I gain entrance to Jannah eventhough I am not circumcised? Is the hadith regarding the compulsory nature of Khitan trustworthy? Please share me your knowledge on this matter, thank you.

It can be done with anethesia and lasers now so what's the problem?

It's obligatory and you'll have to do it. It's extremely unclean and vile to have foreskin.

Was curious so found what Sistani has to say about it, particularly in regards to being able to do Hajj:

Rule 302: If a person has the means, and is able, to perform obligatory pilgrimage, but is not circumcised, he should be circumcised and can perform pilgrimage in the same year. Otherwise, he must delay it till after circumcision. If it is not possible for him to be circumcised at all, whether because of some pressing matter or any other reason, it is obligatory on him to perform pilgrimage but he should, as a matter of precaution, perform tawaf himself for both Umrah and Hajj, and also hire an agent to perform tawaf, say its prayer on his behalf. He should, though, say prayer after the agent has said it.

Tawaf - Hajj Rituals - The Official Website of the Office of His Eminence Al-Sayyid Ali Al-Husseini Al-Sistani

Hope that helps

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Al Nowfaly, from Al Sakuny, Abu Abdullah has said: ‘Amir Al-Momineen said: ‘When the man becomes a Muslim, he should be circumcised even if he has reached eighty (years)’.

https://hadith.academyofislam.com/?q=إِذَا أَسْلَمَ الرَّجُلُ اخْتَتَنَ وَ لَوْ بَلَغَ ثَمَانِینَ

the earth dislikes the urine of the uncircumcised’.

the Earth becomes filthy for forty days due to the urination of one who is not circumcised.

Abu Ali Al Ashary, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Jabbar, from Safwan, from Ibrahim Bin Maymoun, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah regarding the man who became a Muslim, so he intended to perform Hajj, and the (season) for the Hajj had presented itself, should he perform Hajj or should he be circumcised?’ He said: ‘He should not perform Hajj until he is circumcised’.

Muhammad Bin Yahya and Muhammad Bin Abdullah, (It has been narrated) from Abdullah son of Ja’far who wrote to Abu Muhammad that it has been reported from the two truthful ones (5th and 6th Imams) that: ‘Circumcise your children on the seventh day purifying them, and that the earth resounds with noise to Allah from the urine of the uncircumcised; and there are no surgeons in our city skillful with that, and they (the people) are not circumcising on the seventh day, and among us is a Jewish surgeon, so is it allowed for the Jew that he circumcises the children of the Muslims or not, Allah Willing?’ So he signed: ‘The Sunnah is on the seventh day, therefore you should not oppose the Sunnah, Allah Willing’.
