Dur e Najaf

Salam brothers and sisters,

I don't wear rings, but recently my interest in spiritual matters has increased, so I'm just curious, and want to give it a try: yesterday, someone gave me a Dur e Najaf ring (actually they didn't give it to me as a gift), but said that they had a ring lying spare, and I can take it (that I did, and it fits me ok) because it elevates mood. Can anyone tell me about the ring, and whether anyone wears or it if it has any spiritual/physical benefits? Please share your experiences if you can.

I've seen a few people say some stones can give spiritual benefits. Dur e najaf was Also worn by imam Ali(عليه السلام). I don't believe they give any benefits apart from beauty.

Imam Jaffar Sadiq(عليه السلام) that Momineen feel happy when they sight this stone. I wear it off and on, not on a daily basis, so I can't say if it has had some mood elevating effects or not.
