All I want is safety, the ability to Worship Allah happily, and to give my knowledge other people. This Dunya is honestly nothing when you really think about it.

This is something very primary. I agree.

But my question is that : if you have to migrate from your home country, which place will you prefer to live. 

Not because of worldly pleasures etc. You don't have to fall in love with world to migrate.

It depends, if plan to live alone and not riase a family, the country I've always wanted to live in is Norway. If i have a family then id rather stay in my own to raise my children in a safer culture and environment

I have been trying to find an excuse for that for years now. I haven't been able to find one yet.

But if I had a chance or opportunity I would go to KARBALA ...if somehow I can be close to my Imam... And how beautiful it would be to do Ziyarat everyday ....jannah on earth:)

Karbala is nice to visit. You wouldn't want to live there, if you had the choice. This is mainly due to the tense political situation right now. Once that is over, InShahAllah, I would agree with you. 

Also, I would have said Canada, but I prefer a warmer climate, if I had the choice.  New Zealand has everything, beaches, forests, mountains, deserts, etc. It is expensive in the cities, but if you go outside the cities (Auckland, ChristChurch) its more affordable.

What are your thoughts on living in Karbala? Or a place like that in middle-east?

How is the Shia community doing in New Zealand? 

Don't you fear the expansion of liberal ideologies all over the developed places? Like third/fourth wave Feminism, LGBTQ+, White nationalism etc. I am just trying to bring up some counter questions.

Of course brother I fear, but at the same time no matter where you go, if you fear and remember Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى), everything is going to be fine. Btw, I live in Muslim country and still you can find prostitution, alcohol, lqbt supporter etc so there is no difference, the only difference is it’s not in public or u can’t talk about it. Oh, I still didn’t tell you about how there are alot of racism in here.

This post makes me remember something I read in Hayat ul Qulub:

Obviously, living in Western Country vs. Muslim country there are postive and negative. There is no 'paradise on earth' and anywhere you live, you will be tested by Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى). I think the tests are different depending on where you go. A man once asked Imam Jaafar Sadiq((عليه السلام)) to do dua' for him that Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) would no longer test him because he is tired of being tested (Imtihan). The Imam((عليه السلام)) replied to him 'You are asking for an impossible thing' (because as long as you are in this world you will be tested), but the Imam said 'Rather, I will do dua' for you and ask Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) for a test that will not be severe, so that you will find it extremely difficult to pass' 

So if you want to migrate from a muslim country to a non muslim country you have to ask yourself which way would you rather be tested. There are Shia communities in every Western Country, there are large Shia communities in Australia and New Zealand. 

I think the main difference between many muslims countries and Western Countries like US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc is that if you are young, healthy, willing to work hard, and get an education then you can significantly improve your life in a materialistic / economic way. This is by far the main reason that people migrate from Muslim countries. These opportunities are not the same as they were say, 20 to 30 years ago, but they still exist. So this is the opportunity. At the same time, the big hazard is that in Western countries, you are not reminded of the presence of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) in the environment in your daily life. You will not hear the athan, you will not see people gathering for Salat (they do but they are inside buildings, which most of them do not look like masjids), you will not see the janazat passing by, etc. So in that situation, and the fact that you spend so much time working, it is very easy to forget about Islam / presence of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) in your daily life. Racism also exists in the West, as im sure everyone here already knows, and it is more or less severe depending on where you live. There are some places in the US I would really even discourage Muslims from living at all, because of racism. But its not the same everywhere. 

So you have to go out of your way, and try hard to remember Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى), and it is not easy. This is a big test. In addition to that, any kind of haram you want to do is very easy to access. So this is another big test. Most of the muslims who go the West from Muslim countries don't end up passing these tests, but there are also some that do. So before migration, one should consider these issues.

Karbala, Najaf, or Madinah. I want to be by Ashab al Kisa.

Karbala is the land of may agonies and Afflictions. It is where Sayyid al Shuhada (عليه السلام) was slaughtered.

Najaf, the place where Ali, Nuh, and Adam (عليهم السلام) are buried. It is said to be a valley of Paradise.

Madinah, Al Munuwarah. The place where 10 Imams were born. The Place where 5 infallibles and many righteous companions were are buried.
