Companies like Microsoft / Google / Amazon make software / hardware that's being used by Gambling and Liquor companies.

Is it halal to invest in shares of these companies according to Ayatollah Khamenei & Ayatollah Sistani?

You did not provide any proof from Ayatollah Khamenei or Ayatollah Sistani. Halal and haram questions need proof.

Not sure that they have actually been asked a question as specific as investing in stocks of Microsoft Google and Amazon.  But logically based on my knowledge it is halal. That's like saying it's haram to shop at a grocery store because it has an alcohol section

Yes, things could be more complicated than just saying they are not directly related. the problem is, their profits come from those haram companies as well, and you're sharing that profit. Another thing is, they are US companies, but for this question, lets just assume that they are not based in the US

I would like a reply with more evidence

It's NOT like shopping at a grocery store that sells alcohol, It's like INVESTING in that store, which logically, would be hard to justify.

OP-

Question: Is it permissible to invest in companies who deal in part, in intoxicating drinks without the possibility of separating one’s investment from that of the others in that line of production?

Answer: It is not permissible to participate or deal in the production of intoxicating drinks.

So does that mean you could not invest in an automobile manufacturer that makes trucks that might be used to transport alcohol? You could not invest in an airline manufacturer that makes jets that might transport high rollers to the casinos? You can not invest in a construction company that might accept a contract to build a distillery? You could not invest in a company that manufactures lightbulbs because they might be used to light casino floors? You could not invest in a company that forges steel ingots that might sell it to a company that potentially could use it manufacture beer kegs for a brewery? You could not invest in a company that manufactures mops and buckets that might be used to clean up the vomit of a bunch of drunken, rowdy frat boys on a trip to Vegas?

Google Microsoft Amazon are not in haram business. They provide services to haraam businesses. Everything in this country is connected to haram indirectly. This means its also haraam to invest in a truck manufacturing company cuz a tiny portion of their trucks are sold to Budweiswer

Investing in any business that you know is involved in something haram would be morally questionable to say the least.

There's no problem in investing in a vehicle manufacturer per se, but if you KNOW that they have a specific contract to supply vehicles to Budweiser, then you have a problem.

Same with any other investment, judge it on a case by case basis.

At the end of the day, think about the income you want to feed your family with, do you want it tainted with haram? Inshallah not.
