If you're in the United States and not totally disengaged from government, look into The People's Party. It's not perfect, but it's so much better than the Democratic or Republican Parties.

Anything aside from a Nazi or Communist party would be better than the Democrat or Republican party. Both of those parties are really just two different sides of The Corporate Party, as they get the majority of their "donations" and "lobbying" money (read: bribes) from major corporations and thus, do what is best for said corporations while throwing normal working people under the bus.

Never forget: the CARES act was the largest upward transfer of wealth in human history.

I was going to agree with all that you said, then I remembered that I'm a communist.

The biggest selling point of The People's Party is that they refuse all corporate donations, and genuinely strive to represent The People.

The people's party isn't a communist party though--

My main reason why I am anti-communism is because communism, specifically orthodox Marxism, is anti-religion. If Communism could drop the militant atheist thing, it wouldn't be nearly as bad in my eyes.

Sad reality is that the game is so rigged that any 3rd party candidates will never get representation. Not even invited to debates and usually they stir up a small crowd before completing the pattern by dropping out and endorsing whichever Democrat or Republican aligns with their view.

Communism doesn't work. What we need is regulated capitalism and a strong socialist system implemented for those finding it hard to compete in the free market. I.E. welfare, foodstamps etc. In which we DON'T we don't make people welfare dependent by immediately cutting them off the moment they start saving up or doing well. Absolutely ridiculous.

I just want a libertarian approach. The government should only really get involved for those who can't speak for themselves like animals, children, elderly with dementia etc. It should be a pillar to lean on if needed not a damn burden on everyone's shoulders.

I'm going to go conspiratorial here and say that I believe that if a 3rd party actually got enough votes to be taken seriously, the votes simply wouldn't be counted and the media would report them as not getting the requisite numbers because the media doesn't report news; it's a propaganda machine for the democrat party. The game absolutely is rigged and the elites rigged it in a way that allows them to hold on to power, that's why they collectively lost their minds when Donald Trump managed to capture the Republican nomination and then lay the smack down on Hillary Clinton in 2016.

I don't foresee anything like that ever happening again though, the democrats now have the system completely rigged so that they'll never lose an election again. So we're headed into a one party system of tyranny, although it's not like the traditional democrat/republican dichotomy was any different. It's all the same party, just there are supposedly two of them to create the illusion that the American people have choice-- they don't. There is no choice and the elite Georgetown liberal class will never again be removed from the Oval Office.

But what will most likely happen, is that these people are so inconceivably bad at running the country, that America will collapse like the Soviet Union eventually.

I know. It didn't work in the Soviet Union and everywhere else where it has been tried has led to horrific human rights abuses and usually, mass starvation. China is now putting Muslims in concentration camps and has created it's own version of the Catholic church, which sadly Pope Francis is capitulating to.

I'm not Marxist. I have Anarcho-communist tendencies but I really just want to move away from the materialism of both capitalism and communism and all the systems inspired by these two. I believe governments exist to provide for the people in ways that individuals can not or should not, such as military, infrastructure, and medical care. I also believe that power always corrupts fallible humans, and should be extremely limited in extent and duration, and local authority should be more important than "national".

Communism is always going to be unstable under an authoritarian government, the more authoritarian, the more unstable. That's why the Soviet Union collapsed and Cuba is still going strong. From what I can tell, conditions in Cuba are pretty nice in spite of the US embargoes.

I thought that you had to be a Marxist in order to be a communist? I did some reading about Marxism a while back; read Kapital and the whole nine yards, but the assertion that they have to create an atheist state is what bothered me a lot about it, that and the fact that it just seemed like a pie-in-the-sky way of viewing the world that didn't work out before kind of put me off of it.

There are other people I read that call themselves "Libertarian socialists" who I think have pretty solid ideas about stuff, but I can't see any of it ever taking off in America because the capitalist system has too much of a chokehold on the culture and society for any sort of meaningful change to ever take place.

Supposedly there is a line of thought called "Islamic socialism" but I haven't looked into it yet. I talk a lot about politics but I don't vote or anything anymore because of the felony charge I caught last April.

Please pray for my son and his colleagues. His workplace supervisor tested positive for COVID-19 and now they all are going to quarantine until they've been tested.

And if he's got it, quite likely my whole household does along with the entire households of all the other people working there, so hopefully that supervisor is the only one who has it and she recovers quickly.

Update on my son: he's fine, tested negative. Everyone in his workplace who is vaccinated tested negative.. They're back to business as usual.

Anyone here have any experience tabling at events or on university campuses? How does an organization go about getting permission? Are there fees? Did you get good engagement?

I want to live alone. I am sick and tired of trying to please people. There is not a single person who can accept me the way I am without trying to fix me. I have looked at the apartments and rent is almost the same whether I live alone or with roommates. I will probably need to spend extra just to keep peace if I live with a roommate. Why have people become so difficult? I lived with a roommate in collage for 3 years and I only have good memories. There were some fights but there was a lot more fun. I don't even care anymore if it's unsafe to live alone. I feel unsafe around people anyway, so I am thinking I will just rent an apartment, start living and see if I can do it.

Thank you for your prayer. I wish I was a brother. I am a sister, that's why I wanted so much to find a reasonable roommate.

If you were in the US or UK, I would say absolutely do it. If it is reasonably safe and you will feel better about yourself and at peace, and you can afford it, you should do it. Hope everything goes well for you.

is this true?

Salam no , It's just a public "QABRUSTAN ( GRAVEYARD) IN TEHRAN, IRAN " but because it's built in basement of  Imam Zadeh Saleh with same design of shrine in limited space & there is not enough space  for burying a large number of people & probably higher prices for buying land of grave due to geographical  location  , it has falsely  mentioned  as luxury "QABRUSTAN ( GRAVEYARD)"

Imamzadeh Saleh denied the sale of   luxury milliard Toman tombs

The tutelary of Saleh Tajrish Imamzadeh denied the news of buying and selling milliard Toman graves in Saleh Imamzadeh (عليه السلام) and announced efforts to expand the shrine to increase the number of pilgrims.
According to the Hajj and Pilgrimage Reporter of Fars News Agency, luxury graves were marginalized in Tajrish and Imamzadeh Saleh (عليه السلام), and some people, without knowing how the charities pspended in the development of the shrine, described popular chaities as buying a millird toman luxury grave . Images of it are circulating in cyberspace and even some local media confirmed this by the patron  of Astan Imamzadeh Saleh (عليه السلام).

Quote

Hojjatoleslam Ehsan Biazar Tehrani, the patron  of Saleh Imamzadeh (عليه السلام) in an interview with Fars, denied the claims of some media about buying and selling billion and luxury graves in Saleh (عليه السلام) Imamzadeh Tajrish stated: Buying and selling graves in Astan Saleh Ibn Musa Kazem ( AS) is done like other shrines, but there is no such astronomical prices.

He said that my talk about buying 3 to 10 milliard Toman graves was an example, adding: "Now we are following the development plan of Imamzadeh Saleh (عليه السلام) and everyone is helping with a sum of money according to their ability and will;" So that someone  has  vow of salt and other one pays during the first decade of Muharram 23 thousand  food boxes to feed the poor and another one pays  milliards to develop shrine  that none of these offerings do not have relation to buy the grave.

Quote

Saying that Imamzadeh Saleh (عليه السلام) has no budget and all our activities are done with the help of charities and people, the tutelary of Imamzadeh Saleh (عليه السلام) said: there are still 500 meters of land around the shrine and we announce who will help us to buy these lands. We will give him a grave as a gift. Of course, this does not mean that someone buys a grave for himself with the money he gives to liberate the surrounding lands; Rather, we intend to give him a grave, which, of course, should be noted that no such action has been taken so far.

Quote

Hojjatoleslam Bi Azaar Tehrani, pointing out that we have provided many free graves to people, continued: Currently, on the doorstep of Imamzadeh Saleh (عليه السلام), graves for free to the nuclear martyrs and martyrs of the Ukrainian plane and people such as the families of martyrs and scholars and Servants of the province are assigned.

Quote

Stating that the action of the press for us was blessings which  about graves Luxury stated that it helped us to remove luxury supplies that had been arranged around the graves  as geranium and large photos that the tutelary has collaborate with us to collect them, remove them and unify that environment so that people will remember the Hereafter and death after entering the bottom of the shrine, which was supposed to be the Dar al-Quran.

In the end, Imamzadeh Saleh pointed to the four-year vision for the development of the shrine and said: "We plan to increase the area of the shrine of Imamzadeh Saleh (عليه السلام) to one hectare in the next four years, which will be done with the help of charities and people and from no budget." The government is not used for this.

You know what's sad and frustrating? "Islamic Misandry", the belief among too many Muslims that men are nothing but lust filled savages, incapable of thinking and choosing their actions. As a mother of sons, I hope to protect my children from this hateful and common lie, which, shockingly, is usually perpetuated by Muslim adult men.

(Annoyed because I saw an interaction in which a creepy stranger sent over his wife to advise a woman on her imperfect hijab when he should have been lowering his gaze.)

Labor Day in the United States is stupid. The grocery store is open. Construction work is continuing. My weekly trash collection was on schedule as usual. Restaurants and factories are business as usual. Who is it meant to celebrate? Certainly not banks and other government offices!

It's my birthday and my grandmother's birthday today. She has accomplished 97 years. If you'd like to gift me, I request duas for my grandmother's continued health, and that when her time comes to leave this life, her passage to the next is the least painful that it can be, for Grandma and for those who love her.

My son is taking his road test for driver license. I request duas for his success and that he doesn't wreck my car.

Also, I have a preliminary telephone interview for a job tomorrow morning. Please pray for my success if this is the right job for me. It's through a recruitment agency so I know nothing about the company.

Edit: he passed! But still request duas for interview tomorrow.
