I have two kindles  but I had problems with my vision as I read at night time.I stick to paper unless I can't find a physical copy.

Same. I have started trying to find ebooks where possible. The problem is it's often more economical to buy a used book than to buy an ebook. I have five large shelves and some books still in boxes, plus about 1600 ebooks. 

Can you give some away? Or sell them? 

Otherwise you're just going to have to buy more shelves or stack them in unlikely corners, replace the clothes in your dresser with books, replace the dishes in the cabinets with books, and so on.

I do give them away and I have made another library at another property my family owns and I have curtailed my buying but I do feel the urge to let go at times.

I don't have a picture of the dresser drawers full of books nor the boxes and milk crates which are pretending to be shelves.

The end never justifies the means. What benefit is there for you to accomplish something good if it's through disobeying Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى)? Always make sure that whenever you start a noble journey, take noble steps.

Another example that comes to mind - marriage is such a sacred thing in Islam. Make sure that every step you take to help you achieve this goal is sacred.

This year is really scary, my ex best friend passed away on jan. Yesterday one of my classmate had an car accident, sadly he passed away, his sister is in coma from the accident, pls everyone pray for her.

I woke up today and went to the living room, then my mom told me that one lady we knows passed away. She died 10 days ago but today they found her dead body. May Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) have mercy on her, pls everyone pray for her if u have time.

This is so shocking. She was beheaded and the details are so horrific. Is this a sign of Taliban coming back because they are the ones who behead people or did he get inspiration after watching ertugrul ghazi?

What I can't get why do people put them in position where they are at mercy of lunatics.I speak from my own experience despite being a male child I was suppose to report to what friends I hanged out and my dad took the time to ask me what we did.

I think what saved me from drugs and cigarettes was probably that I was encouraged to pursue outdoor activities with my family in my case I bonded with dad over love of outdoors and hunting.I pray that I am able to bond with kids over something meaningful.

A lot of people immediately assuming that this book is anti-semitic. But it's written by a Rabbi and the content is quite innocuous.

The realisation that a fair bit of Western economic success was based on access to cheap natural resources from developing countries and that now there is a new player in town willing and able to outbid them.

We may well find references to 'war on terror' being replaced by 'struggle for freedom' as the West supports groups fighting Chinese economic interests.

Alhamdulillah, his sister is alive and doing great as well.

I've been watching this beautiful creature for the past few weeks:

 

There has been a sharp decline in the squirrel population. I enjoy our squirrels but this juvenile red tailed hawk is a rare treat to see.
