Are there people who speak English in Iraq or Lebanon?

I alwaus wanted to know where there some english spekers in iraq or lebanon? Does anybody know some? What if i went to Karbala or najaf would i have to know arabic?

I lived in Iraq for a while and the natives don’t speak a bit of English, so if you do plan on going Insha’Allah try to see if you can get a guide like our dear brother mentioned, as long as you have someone who knows Arabic it’ll make your trip a lot easier. There are many caravans - before COVID I don’t know about now - which cost about the same if you would travel alone, but the experience I’ve heard was a lot better.
