Dying as a teen

Salaam,

What does happen to people who die as a teenager? (Between 12-17).

Will they experience the same things as a person who is an adult?

Is there a chance that they will go to hell?

Is there a difference between boys and girls?

Do they miss their family in this dunnya?

Jazak Allah Khairan

All these questions can only get hypothetical answers.

Under Islamic law,

A 9 year old girl child is physically mature, her mental maturity depends on her upbringing

A 14 year boy child is physically mature, his mental maturity depends on his upbringing.

So, only Allah knows, what will happen to them. Yes, what I am certain about is justice. Allah will do justice and mercy with even an ant. Because surely Allah is just and merciful.

Their are no differences between boys and girls except the roles they are assigned by Allah. And hereafter is completely dependent upon actions.

A departing soul, if attached to anything in this world, misses that thing. Whether family, friends, money etc.

Nothing can be said about the Hereafter.

Anyone who is mentally mature is then held accountable for their sins. If they are not, they are excused.

No. An adult requires someone to be mature. Assuming these age ranges are not mature, then no - they will not experience the same thing as an adult.

Anyone who is not mentally there nor physically and cannot fully comprehend will be judged according, but the chances are they will not end up in the Hellfire. Allah is not unjust.

Physically, biologically, and anatomically? Yes. If you are speaking in terms of maturity, then also yes. It just depends when one matures.
