Every nation and tribe/people have their own way of mourning/giving Praise to someone or something.

Is it islamic or unislamic. Matters not to such people.

Look up "Coffin dance" on youtube.

It's true, all these Muharram walks are basically just carnivals, people dress up, dance, play instruments etc.

Them claiming that this is a sad event just isn't very convincing though when they behave like this.

I think its 20 Safar around 3:30AM in Karbala( Iraq) watch as Dawn time comes around. You wonder why are some so ignorant of the basics as they do not attend these events to listen and learn they there to find fox news stuff, internet sites will die if these fellows were not there to bring in traffic. You will notice that we have the same individuals who are known for pointing out outlier issues. This is an insult to your intellect. as they seem the demand and they supply.

"ALL THESE"

This lie is only bought by the "simpletons", you might think the sites is full of it otherwise you would not dare to lie like this.  You know they will eat it and have fun. You are indicating the awareness of the core of the site. Its not your fault, its the people themselves. They allow you meaning they are part of it. or they will resist

Siffin all over.

I heard some "joker" or clown protestors rioted today by the Imam Hussain Shrine mosque. Maybe it was these guys, using this act as their disguise.

Or maybe they're just acting as Yazeedis as part of some play they're doing.

Whatever it is, it looks pretty messed up.

There is a lots of Saudi money heading towards Arbaeen walk. Najaf should take immediate action to halt these activities, forcefully if necessary.

There are planted visitors from Pakistan too this time around. There was this woman singing religious song in front of non-mahram men on mic. If Shia won’t take the wajib duty of Amr Bil Maroof and Nahi Anil munkar serious, pretty soon this sacred walk would become the magnet of paid clowns and would become the laughing stock of the world. And then media would definitely cover this walk.

Like simpletons who don't know that when you use a pronoun that is referring back to a plural, the pronoun used should also be plural?

Honestly this whole paragraph is a disaster, you should take a minute, wipe the froth from your lips, take a few deep breaths and then rephrase it.

*Also look up the definition of carnaval.

"An annual festival involving processions, music, dancing, and the use of masquerade"

Are you saying that there are processions which don't involve people dressing up and playing musical instruments? The ma'tam that they do is obviously a form of dancing.

By any standard these are obviously carnavals.

@Ali_Hussain

I wonder why I never you post videos like these?

Because I believe in the general goodness of man, and I don't find things like this to be out of the ordinary.

I don't believe in the general foolishness of man and so that behaviour needs to be highlighted.

Although I may have to review my position and switch my opinions around.

Ibn Qulawaih has dedicated chapter 49 of his book to the merits of visiting Imam Husain (عليه السلام) on foot. In one of its narrations it is quoted from Imam Sadiq (as):

Whoever leaves his house aiming at visiting the grave of al-Husayn Ibn Ali (عليه السلام) if he is on foot, Allah will write for him for every footstep a good deed and will erase an evil (for him) until he reaches the al-Haer (the vicinity of the grave)…” (Ibn Qulawaih, P. 132)

That is why we are to follow our marja. What they deem permissible is fine and there rests some duty on us too.  Like speaking against and stopping a wrong but that does not mean that the practice in its' totality is wrong and should be avoided. Aza is a living dynamic institution.

The walk, the matam the visitation have been encouraged as worthy of extra reward but we do not seek reward we seek Hussain(عليه السلام). And Hussain(عليه السلام) leads us to Allah(سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى).  Would or could there be anything greater than that.

I think when mourning the Ahlul Bayt(عليه السلام) we should follow their sunnah in mourning as well.

If anyone then later wants to mourn the death of their parents by dancing and playing instruments, in accordance with their local culture which may not be Islamic, its up to them.

at least it shows that their problem is with Shias & Imam Hussain (عليه السلام) message that this time they uncovered their true agenda for destroying Arbaeen walking because this time they couldn't hide their agenda behind fake slogans like fighting with Iran influence because this time they were harsher than before in non presenting of anyone from Iran so they couldn't use their fake anti Iran accusations like previous year.

This is not Hussaini Azadari and is Yazeedi faction who celebrate, the victory of Yazeed really but call it, Hussani victory and not defeat.  Our parents make mention of this in Karachi when they used to come from one of the side roads and try and merge with the main procession of Ashura but were not allowed to and eventually scattered once the whole of the procession had passed.  If people ask their parents they will remember this from the 'Numaish' area/Lines Area of Karachi. Incidentally just looked on the map with my parents and notice that in that barren ground has sprouted a Jama Masjid e Qudsia Ahle Hadees.

There is an excellent presentation by brother Sayyid Ali Imran on Azadari and it being a living tradition (that is evolving within sharia) on Iqra online probably.  If not we could request him to put it there or here if he so chooses.
