It's not authentic but why does it even matter who is better then who? They were all in servitude to Allah and serve the people and the muslims at their time of holding the leader position. They were nothing more then mare men and nothing more especial about them other then their servitude to Allah. It's relevant who was the better of them because it's only something Allah knows or who would out rank who in paradise.

This kind of mentality leads to innovation and leads people astray slowly and you will find yourself worshipping men like Ali or Imams which is major shirk.

avoid fruitless and pointless comparisons by people who have been in servitude to Allah in a position he has elected for them in a specific time span

Its astonishing that you want to whitewash the duplicity of the companions, under the pretext there were servitude of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى)?Perhaps you was in a state of slumberous when you written what you stated?

Anyhow, the role of the first three Caliphs is controversial contentious  and disputed.

If you chose to respond, then we will discuss their merits to determine whether they were Servitude of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى).

This is the reason we need to talk more on Saqifa, Caliphs, their (mis)deeds and the amount of damage it has caused to Islam.

Imam Ali ((عليه السلام)) was better there is no doubt about it. His merits were more than any other companions of the messenger of Allah saw. And it is not enough that in sunni sources it is quoted   Ali asked if he was going to be left behind with the women and children. To this Muhammad replied: "Will you not be pleased that you will be to me like Haroun (Aaron) to Musa (Moses)? But there will be no prophet after me." Than one has to ask this question what was Haroun (عليه السلام) to Musa (عليه السلام) read quran 7 142

And We appointed with Moses thirty nights and We completed them with ten, so the appointed time of his Lord was forty nights; and Moses said to his brother Aaron, 'Be my successor among my people, and put things right, and do not follow the way of the workers of corruption.' The word ukh'luf'nī comes from the root kh-Lam-Fa meaning     to follow/come after/succeed another, substitute. So in life time the Prophet saw appoint Ali ibn Abu talib (عليه السلام) as his successor in his lifetime for example also in ghadeer chum.

Honestly no disrespect but because some of our Sunni brothers actually say that the first 3 caliphs are better than ali because they where first which doesn’t make sense because you could say Adam (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) is better than other prophets because he is first. What logic is this?
