Stone rings and wrist bangles for men in islam?

1.Is stone rings and bangles (kara) on wrists forbidden for men in Islam? and what does science say about it?

2.Many people use stone rings because, they think it can bring some kind of luck in life isn't it shirk?

Depending on the stone, it is sunna. There are some narrations that wearing a certain stones brings this or that or avoids this or that, Allahu a'lam.

As for the kara, Shias who wear it claim that they are not imitating the kuffar, they wear it to remind themselves of Imam Sajjad (a) being in chains...the only Shias who wear it happen to come from the region where the non-Muslims have that as part of their religion.
