Out of the 24 hours God gives them each day, they set 30 minutes to 1 hour aside for watching videos of "people" having intercourse and then simulate sex with their hand. And you telling them to quit blinking wouldn't get the same fiery reaction than if you suggested they quit these sins. It just seems like projection to me. It's a good thing these idiots have little interest in reproducing.

Islam is not obsessed with sex, but sex and sexuality is a healthy and normal part of human behavior. Islam teaches that having sex the Halal way with your wife is actually good and something spiritual. The reason our Religion has this accusation against it is because Christianity has a very negative view of sex which was inherited by Western civilization. Christianity basically teaches that sex is a necessary evil for procreation, but that it is better to avoid it. This is why lifelong celibacy is ideal for Christians, why priests, monks and nuns aren't allowed to marry and have sex. This lifelong celibacy is actually against the lifestyle of the Prophets of God, who were family men with wives and children. For us the ideal is a Prophet, not a monk.

We can see that the Christian practice of lifelong celibacy is actually destructive, because it is trying to fight a natural, biological function that is healthy and necessary. As a result, so many Christian priests become perverted from denying themselves something that is normal and healthy, and then end up preying on little children.

Muslim majority countries occupy the highest numbers of those who not only visit explicit websites, but they also occupy the highest number of those who view abnormal explicit films as well. Of course it isn’t a justification, it is a dire call to readdress a recurring theme and problem within our own societies.

Tell me brother how your condemnation of these secularists is viable, if they could turn around and tell you those who you are depicting as low life pixel chasers and hand fornicators, come mainly from  “Muslim” majority countries?

In Isreal porn sites are blocked and to access them you have to make a request. The UK were trying to do the same, the scheme was abandoned, now it seems to be back on the table

https://www.wired.co.uk/article/uk-porn-block-comeback

(I love the way that Britain's leading 'obscenity lawyer' is a man called Myles Jackman, I'm sure that he isn't part of the tribe who brag about creating and running the porn industry and use it as a weapon against the Palestinians, to assume such a thing would be 'anti-semetic')

"Israeli troops who have taken over three Palestinian television stations in Ramallah are broadcasting pornographic movies and programs in Hebrew, irate residents say."

https://www.smh.com.au/world/middle-east/porn-run-on-seized-tv-channels-say-residents-20020401-gdf5uw.html

Yep, completely unfounded anti-semetic tin foil hat stuff for sure.

*I'm not excusing people who actively choose to destroy themselves with it, obviously they only have themselves to blame, I'm just throwing a few facts out there

It's the responsibility of each individual to keep away from such things. You cannot shift the blame. A Muslim who fears Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) would never allow themselves to indulge in such filth.

It also should have been mentioned that hijab, hand shakes, and music have nothing to do with sex or sexual-ness. :hahaha:

Wiki Islam is not a reliable source. They are anti-Muslim and they manipulate statistics.

Most people are obsessed with sex irregardless of their religion, even more than in past eras, it seems to be symptomatic of this schizophrenic modern age we are living in. All of this has root in Protestant Christianity and is a virus that has continued to spread in various forms.

Good video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFoZalAc8p0

It takes a good grasp at psychology, philosophy and history to understand what is really going on here.

When it comes to sex itself, it's just a natural part of life and is totally ok and moral in all religions initially. Most religions explicitly place importance on the concept of "the family" and there is no doubt why, it is representational of life itself, it is meaningful (aka the penis and the vagina equal a child in traditional societies), and it's pleasure has a sociological belonging. In past societies though we didn't have contraception, so there is a whole bag of worms there. The inevitability of intercourse conceiving a child in ancient and traditional societies meant that sex out of marriage was immoral because it created societal chaos (and was a problem for men keeping track of who is and who isn't their offspring - as well as susceptibility to catching diseases by sleeping around). At the same time, homosexuality was not taken seriously back then but was considered immoral because it served no role, it was a sexual excess. Now in the modern world all these roles have been inverted and it has instilled an immense sense of vertigo.

Following with the tragic win of capitalism over other economic models, everything we do think say and feel has been commodified, consumerism and milked out of us; sex is no exception, neither is even family. Everything has become parody and satire of itself.

There is a strong tension between traditional and liberal views, even though such terminology is symptomatic of modernity and not traditional ideological signifiers. Part of why there may be a meme about "Muslims being obsessed with sex" is rooted in a liberal (and cultural-liberal) apathy towards morality itself, where empathy is taken only to the extreme (instead of a balanced view).

As for sexual urges, whether male or female, it's completely natural but in the wise words of Imam Ali:

"Surely, God put intellect in the angels but not desire, and he put desire in the beasts but not intellect, and he put both of them in the children of Adam (mankind). So whoever's intellect overcomes his desire, then he is better than the angels, and whoever's desire overcomes his intellect, then he is worse than the beasts" - Imam Ali ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم))
