Since we do not have a thread devoted to Biden news, this BBC report indicates one needs to be started.

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-53575883

Joe wants to spend 10s of $Billions to address "inequalities."

Comment: of course Biden doesn't say that the basic reason for such "inequalities" in the inner cities is because the Demoncrat/NEA run skools are cwap

Neither does Biden mention that our National Debt is $25 Trillion.

Speculation is that commie Camilla Harris is his likely running-mate.

I'm not a fan of Biden or Harris, but anyone (except possibly Kanye West) is better than Trump.

They're both terrible in their own way, but as much as it pains me to say this, I feel like if I was able to vote this year, I'd have to pick Trump over Biden (in reality I'd probably just vote for a

Well Saddam was perfectly fine with them when he was gassing Iranian soldiers. Apparently the moral calculus of the neocons doesn't seem to bother you here. If they're so bothered by dictatorships why

I'm confused. I thought Kamala is an authoritarian moderate.

l Iiked her in the debates so l Iooked her up on the Net.

l came across a commentary about her stint as a federal prosecutor. To use a basketball analogy for the commentary and what l found, she racked up her prosecutor score by making foul shots, but did not do the work to make the drive to get the lay-aways.

Lay-away instead of lay-up.

So many doable prosecutions that required some work were not done.

Yes . . .

and as soon as the subversives got Biden removed by (mis)using the Section 4 of the 25th Amendment, she will become "Acting President"

Question: Why ain't the media, Biden or Comilla commenting on the "looting riots" in Chicago? (Seen on Yahoo News).

That makes the choice of Harris make more sense: progressives dislike her even more than they dislike Biden.

(And why is progressive a pejorative term? Progress is a good thing.)

They are co-opting the name and all from American high school history books. Remember, T.R. and others and their reforms and initiatives?

HORROR  ALERT

According to Wiki-pedia, Komilla's sister Maya "in 2015 was appointed as one of three senior policy advisors to lead development of an agenda for Hellary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign."  She is also chairwoman for her sister's campaign.

Comment: Creepy Joe denies having a close relationship with the Clinton Foundation,

l was listening to the radio and a guest on Sean Hannity said that 69% of the American public do not believe Biden can finish his first term.

Therefore, if it proves true Biden does not finish if elected, then in Biden and Harris we are actually voting on the 46th and 47th Presidents.

So the question is: do you want Harris as the 47th President ?

Do you want Biden as the 46th ?

No, not really to both questions, but I don't think we can survive another four years of Trump

That's the thing though, as some see Trump as a danger to the country so do those opposed to Biden see Biden. The US has a huge polarization problem and every four years it will worsen.

The men have talked about this in the barber shop -and other places.

Basically the uniform view is: Just because "the Donald" "the Maunderer" Trump's parents never learned him to keep his mouth shut (or off the Twitt communicator) does not make him a 'bad guy'.  We can't name anything he does 'wrong'. We don't always agree with him, but he doesn't do anything wrong or controversial.

Biden, on the other hand, is a leading Demoncrat, yet he often makes racial remarks that show he only "spouts" but never gave any real thought to things. He only politicizes his sentences.

What Trump does wrong - mostly by running his mouth/Twitter account without thought - is to normalize hatred and division and lack of discourse. Other things too, but this is the worst one, in my opinion. Everything from outright Nazis being "very fine people", to calling every woman who disagrees with him "nasty", to trying to start wars all around the world and at home.

It is claimed that unlike Bush and Obama Trump didn't start a war. And that sounds true.

Bush started two wars, during Obama's time at least three wars started: Libya, Syria, Yemen. The first two of Obama began in his first term, same with Bush. But yet, no single new war has been started by Trump so far.

This is true, but not for lack of trying. Nobody takes the fool seriously enough to be baited into war, and he knows the US doesn't support him so he only pushes it as far as he thinks he can get away with.

The other warmongering politicians had the support of a large number of American people, and more importantly, of Congress.

Divisiveness is a normal state of politics. Locally, three decades ago, people were not only split over a road, but also on how to pay for it.

This was also true with FDR, Reagan and a few others.

Also, the Madison-Jefferson feud as another example.

I'm not old enough to remember any of these. I guess I was aware of Reagan's existence, but not anything else.

Social media makes it different this time though, I suspect.

SHOCKER

:sign_no: "10 minutes ago, there abouts, Colin Powell endorsed Creepy Joe. Then a video of how much Biden and Bomb-'em McCain were friends."

Thought: remember in late 2016 after Trump won the General Election,  the Republican Establishment put out the word "if you go to work for Trump you have no future in politics" ?

Looks like the same dictum again.

McCain and Lieberman were neocons, and neocon policy for the Middle East aligns with my perspective. The regimes which rule the Muslim world today are oppressive and barbaric. The more they are humiliated and bombed by the West, the better.

Are you John McCain come-back from the dead or something?

What possible 'good' can you find in aerial bombing?

Like I said, it serves to humiliate the arrogant Arab dictators, expose how impotent they really are. Arab dictatorships have to constantly propagandize about their supposed invincibility and the personality cult of strength of their leaders. America takes pleasure in bombing them to wreck that image. Just think of Saddam, the guy was so arrogant, plating his toilet with gold, and erecting statues and portraits of himself everywhere. Then one day he is being pulled out of the sewer by young American soldiers, looking like a homeless person wearing rags, and being filmed as those soldiers search his unkempt hair and beard for lice. This is what these arrogant Arab dictatorships all deserve. That's why I love the American neocons.
