Bismillah Rahman Raheem.

I am absolutely heartbroken after finding out Anti-Majos 3 had made a video entitled “when fake matam turns real!!” and making comments from the contributors with things about God being pleased with those who did (killing the Shias in that shooting video) or bringing a scholar who says that the only solution for the Shias is to kill the men, take their women as captives and enslave their children (I think the name was specifically Rami Issa). What is the sick and disgusting stuff? Did their prophet (saws) hurt the Jews and Christians during his time? The prophet only ever fought in a battle after being expelled with his followers from their homes, getting harassed and looted constantly, having the peace treaties broken and absolutely being oppressed! Now can anyone tell me when did the Shias do that? I think we need to report these channels for their hate speech which is a CLEAR crime. If the police will not listen then at least we have to try and take down these hate-inspiring videos and channels by reporting it on YouTube and Google. Who is with me and willing to help do this? Anti-majos production even called Imam Mahdi a “rat” in one of the YouTube comments when they themselves  should believe in his appearance. Absolutely disgusting and sickening. What a great shame they bring to Islam for their fighting and enmity towards the other sects!

It’s pretty obvious they absolutely hate Shias even from their ‘normal’ videos. If they highlighted the same core content, but without all the cheap insults, and in a more neutral tone, they would probably have more impact. But as it is, it’s very easy to dismiss all their work as hateful Wahhabi propaganda and not bother thinking about or responding to what is actually in the videos, which is often pretty disturbing (or sad).

But they won’t do that, even though some within their larger group have probably argued they should (I’m not sure, but I think that might be part of the reason the SunniDefense channel was formed), because they are acting more out of a desire to demonise Shias in front of their Sunni audience, than to reach people in the middle or Shias themselves. Some of these people were mostly likely ISIS supporters as well, based on some of their posts on the old HCY forum. I don’t know if they supported them to the end, but they certainly did in the early days when they were most well known for killing Shias.

As for insulting Imam Mahdi (عليه السلام), they would argue the Mahdi they believe in isn’t the same as the ‘fictional’ (from their point of view) one we believe in, so they wouldn’t see it as insulting the same person.

Personally, I don’t watch their videos much anymore because after a while they become quite repetitive, with the same clips being used over and over. But I used to watch them, if for no other reason than nobody else other than them is going to be obsessed enough to watch all those hours of material to pick out these clips of Shia scholars and speakers saying crazy stuff. In an ideal world, we’d have Shias doing this, but realistically that’s probably never going to happen. Obviously I would watch them fully aware that it was produced by unhinged Shias-hating maniacs, and that I would be exposed to a lot of insults and blasphemy, but I always believe you should try to focus on the actual content of the message, rather than who is saying it, or how they are saying it.

The channel has been complained about many times though, and I’m pretty sure has been suspended. I think that’s why they keep coming back under a new name. I have to say I’m quite surprised that particular video is still up though, since I would assume it would lead to an automatic suspension every time it’s reported.

You know, it's actually sad. Polemics is one thing & even strong/passionate polemics shouldn't allow you to laugh at victims of a terrorist attack. The irony too is that they accuse shias of taqiya, well here it appears to be the case that they are doing some extreme form of taqiya or have some extreme cognitive dissonance at play. 'Anti-Majos' still defends using that video, not only that. They still claim they weren't laughing at the victims. What were they laughing at then with all those laughing emojis posted on the video whilst it was playing? It's on one their recent videos in a reply to me:

The second point is that removing the laughing emojis or making a point of shias doing shirk in a time of hardship doesn't make using that video in that way anymore justifiable. It's not morally justifiable to make a political or religious point of victims of a terrorist attack whilst it is happening & being recorded. Why? For starters, where is the actual human empathy? Not asking about, 1) Whether they survived. 2)Asking about their trauma. etc... Or to put it in anothe way, do you think they'd be ok if it was the other way around? If their relatives/family members were victims of a terrorist attack & some christian or athiest comes along and decries, "why are they praying to allah" or any action that is islamic that they are doing. I highly doubt they'd be ok with that or won't be upset by that.

Personally I don't care too much of what amuses them or doesn't. They are to us like a wall.

Each person will be questioned about who and what they laughed at.

I wouldn't even bother reporting such videos. Let the people see the reality of those behind such videos and judge for themselves.
